l'angelo della morte

George spotted a monster giving the angels trouble and knew it was the one they needed. "We have to save her before she's taken," George said, hurrying to drag Kur along. Kur struggled and broke free from George's grip. "What's happening? I've found Cara; we must save her before she's taken by the 'l'angelo della morte'."

Kur looked confused. "What does that mean?"

"You haven't heard of l'angelo della morte? It means the Angel of Death," George explained. Kur looked at himself, fear creeping into his voice. "I can't go like this; she'll devour me into pieces." George encouraged him not to worry, assuring him everything would be fine.

This time, Kur summoned his courage and approached the angels struggling to restrain Cara. "Let her go!" he demanded with surprising bravery. The angels looked at Kur with amused skepticism. What was Kur thinking? If they released her, she would devour everyone present. And what about Kur, with his half-human, half-demon heritage?

"What do you have to do with these monsters?" one angel asked, eyeing Kur suspiciously. "We should tie him down too; he's one of them," another angel suggested. Just as they cast their powers on Kur, George intervened, pushing Kur out of the way. The spell hit George instead, paralyzing him to the floor.

"You...have to...save her," George managed to say in his last moments before blacking out.

Kur approached the monster and gently touched its forehead. "It's me. I've come to take you home. If you don't want to leave, we can make this place our home." The atmosphere suddenly became calm, creating an eerie silence that drew the attention of Kahlan, God, and Rahl.

"What is he doing?" God asked aloud, perplexed. "He's trying to save his love," Kahlan replied.

All three looked confused. "This isn't right," Rahl said. "If he tried to save her from dying by offering his soul, then she isn't meant to become a monster." God and Rahl exchanged a knowing glance, realizing what was happening. They descended to the floor to investigate, and by the time they arrived, Cara had transformed back to her human form. Kur held her by the shoulder and laid her down gently.

God and Rahl approached Kur and Cara. "Wait, let me examine her hand," God requested. Rahl stood beside him, his piercing gaze making Kur question whether he could trust God. However, Kur hesitated and allowed God to examine Cara's hand. After a few seconds, God sighed and delivered the shocking news: "She's yours!"

Kur looked surprised and confused. "Whose?" he asked, unsure what God meant.
