Important mission

We continue our walk through the park, but the pain in my head refuses to go away. I try to focus on the beauty of the park—the vibrant colors of the flowers, the laughter of children playing nearby—but it's hard to concentrate with the throbbing ache in my skull.

Raven notices that something's wrong, her concern growing with each passing moment. "Are you sure you're okay?" she asks, her voice filled with worry.

I force a smile, trying to hide the pain. "I'm fine, really," I lie, but even I can hear the strain in my voice.

Raven doesn't look convinced, but she doesn't push the issue. Instead, she suggests we sit down on a nearby bench and rest for a while.

As we sit there, Raven takes my hand in hers, rubbing soothing circles on the back of it with her thumb. Her touch is comforting, and for a moment, I forget about the pain in my head. I lean back against her, closing my eyes and letting myself relax into her embrace.
