The Training Intensifies

The camp buzzed with a rare kind of energy, the kind you feel when everyone's on edge but in a good way, like before a big festival or, in our case, a potentially deadly magical training session. With Lily and Irene at the helm, our humble guild camp had transformed into a mini magic academy. The recruits were lined up, wide-eyed and eager, like kids about to taste candy for the first time—or maybe more like prisoners facing the gallows, given the grueling day ahead.

Lily started with her session on advanced spellcasting. She has this way of speaking that's soothing yet authoritative, like a kind school teacher who could also banish you to the Shadow Realm if you didn't hand in your homework on time. Today's focus was on defensive spells and counter-magic, crucial skills if we wanted to stand a chance against the Demon King's forces.
