Surprise?!

After some time things calmed down. I did my normal routine I would feed Moon drive around take short walks and go on outings with Kyle when Theo was busy. Along the way, I got closer to the people I counted as family and things were becoming more comfortable. I felt happy. But today is that day. I'm turning 17 I hope my brother remembers. I woke up and it was 11 am

"Good morning sunshine!" Theo said. He was cooking pancakes

"morning guys" 

"morning," said Becca and Kyle

"Have some pancakes." he gave me them.

"Thanks," I said. Did he forget it was my birthday? *feeling down* " Thanks for breakfast I'm going to my room."

I fed Moon. "You are so adorable. Today's my birthday and I feel like my brother forgot. I feel tired I should just sleep." 

Theo-"Today is that special day. It's my sister's birthday so here's the plan. Theo can do me a favor and take her out while I and Becca do preparations"

Becca-"Let's make sure this day is extra special. She has been through so much" 

Kyle-"I gotcha I've been with her for a while and she's used to this either way." (he walks away.)

Becca and Theo look at each other 

"I think someone more than intrested don't ya think Bec?"

"I think so too who would have thought they'd get this close within this short period of time?"

Back to Ciel

*Knock knock*"Anyone in there?" 

Ah, it was Kyle "Yeah come in. What's up?" 

"I was wondering if you wanna head out today."

Does he know it's my birthday? "Sure where are we going to"

"Let's go to the arcade today." He said looking very excited today.

Alright, I put my shoes and sweater on. laughing a bit

"Let's go hurry, hurry!" He said pushing me out of my room and taking me to the car.

"You're acting very suspicious you know does it have something to do with me," I asked. if he knew I'd be happy too since he became someone special in my friend circle. 

"Nope." he said "just felt like heading out today.

Ouch. well, that kinda hurt but how would he know since he never asked and I never told him? "Okay.." 

Kyles - I can't let her know or I'll ruin the surprise. Gotta keep suspicions away at all times. "So how's it going taking care ofMoon hmm?"

Ciel- "Same as usual but he's growing though he eats a lot haha. I gotta take care of my baby though. he's such a cutie."

Kyle- "Who's the father?"

Ciel-"No one I'm a single mother I should scout for one though," I said jokingly looking at him

Kyle-"I think I'm worthy of being his father"

Ciel- "You wish" I smirked

"We've arrived," he said.

We played games and time passed by. it was already 4 p.m. Did they forget? :(

"What's with the down face?" he asked

"Nothing I'm just thinking about stuff"

"Wana grab some ice cream?"

"Sure," I said with a small smile. at least, he's hanging out with me today. it be nice if Theo and Becca were here too tho. 2 more hours passed by

"We should head home now," said the

"Yeah lets go," I said. I was bummed out. We drove home. 

I walked to my room. "Hey, moon I'm back" I was gonna go to my bed till I saw.. A WOMAN IN MY ROOM??

"AHH! WHO ARE YOU??" I screamed

"Here you go," she said handing me a note.

 "Put the new dress you find in your closet and the lady will do your hair. Meet us at 7:00 P.M outside. Were headed somewhere" Maybe he remembered after all? I can't be too sure. Let's see what happens. I opened my closet and found a silky deep cherry dress with little diamonds connected from the top of the dress. it was beautiful. "Excuse me miss is it this?"

"Yes" she replied

I put it on and it fit me. She did my hair. She got my hair from the sides tied it together from the back curled the tips. As an extra, she also did my makeup. Lastly, I put my red heels on. "HEY CIEL LET'S GO!" called Theo hurrying her. I felt like crying in a good way and headed to the car. Deja Vu?

I saw Becca Kyle and Theo right next to me. 

"You look great Happy birthday Ciel," said Theo "I agree!" said Becca smiling. She was in the passenger seat.

I entered the car and sat next to Kyle.

"You look gorgeous today i knew this color would suit you," he whispered to me.

What the hell? My heart was racing a bit. "Stop playing around" I looked at him everyone was dressed nicely. He looked especially great today i stared a bit. Were my eyes playing some tricks on me? there's no way I liked him. After everything with Shayla, how could I try something new?

"Do you like what you see? Hmm" he asked

"No way," I said blushed, and looked away. 

"pfft you're face says otherwise"

"shut up.." I said rolling my eyes.

"Looks like you guys are having fun wanna let us in," said Becca

"It's nothing just joking around," said Kyle

"Yep" I agreed 

"Suree," she said then she continued to talk to Theo. Music was playing in the car.

"I was being serious with what I said earlier tho." he got closer to me.

 He looked away for a bit. He seemed different today. I looked down and saw his hand touching mine. I looked at him and he looked at me. We held hands and our fingers locked. My heart was racing as if it was ready to jump out.

"WE'VE ARRIVED!!" yelled Theo. Let's go Theo Becca and Kyle got out of the car. Kyle held his hand out to me and I accepted. 

"Such a prince," said Becca laughing 

"S-shut up Becca" he looked away.

"Don't ever think of doing anything to my little sister" Theo said holding on to me. 

He gaped "OH for god's sake Theo just leave me alone," he said looking flustered.

"let's go guys first stop at the birthday girls' party!" Said, Theo

I entered the place. It was huge and was filled with many guests. Music was playing and Theo grabbed a microphone and pulled me over. "Hello welcome guest!" he said and everything settled down. "Thank you guys for coming to celebrate my dear sister Ciel's 17th birthday. Let's dedicate tonight to her and make this the best night ever for her!" he passed me the microphone "Thank you all for coming I hope today is a special night" I said smiling. As everything returned to the music and the commotion I saw Kyle standing alone.

"Were you waiting for me or something?" I asked teasingly

"Of course who else could I be waiting for," he smirked. "Wana dance" we danced. 

"I wanna take you somewhere later tonight it special," he said

"Sure, we've been out the whole day so why not," I said smiling. As the night ended it was already past midnight.

We ate dinner out Theo Becca Kyle and me. 

"Theo I'm borrowing your sis for a bit more," Kyle said

"Sure take her away but be careful with her or you're done for," he said staring at him

"I will be careful alright," he said as we left.

We walked somewhere up and there was a glass bridge. 

"watch your step," he said.

He held my hand

"I wanted to show you this scenery. beautiful isn't it?" 

"yeah it is how you find this place" I looked up at the sky full of stars and the city illuminated

"I used to come here a lot to relax." he said "I wanted to share this scenery with you today. to be honest I found you interesting at first but I want to be more than friends with you"

I don't know how to feel i can't just say I like him back when I'm not 100% sure what could happen between us. "thank you for feeling that way about me but I feel like if anything were to happen we wouldn't be friends anymore. I like spending time with you and also am interested but what if this ruins what we currently have."

"I won't pressure you to get into this but ever since I met you I felt drawn to you. We can take things slow if you want at any pace"

I thought about it but I'm scared of getting hurt again. "What if you hurt my feelings and go with someone else?"

"I would never hurt you, Ciel. I haven't been your first but I'll try to become someone you can rely on trust when you're hurt. I could be your best friend and a boyfriend at the same time for you." he said holding both my hands.

 I haven't felt this way in a long time. Today was the best night and it was truly special. I hugged him. "We'll take things slowly but can we keep this a secret from Theo and Becca." 

"Anything you want" he hugged me. We held hands on the way from the glass bridge and headed back but when we saw Becca and Theo we let go. 

"Time to go home!" Theo said.

We got in that car it was silent. I was tired I leaned on Kyle and blacked out.

Meanwhile, Becca took a pic of those two.

"you guys seem oddly close today she said"

"Nah it's nothing," Kyle said

"If you guys are anything you better not hurt her," Theo said

"Even if we are something I would never," Kyle said. 

They arrived home

"shes knocked out," Theo said "I'll take her to her room"

"It's alright I'll take her," Kyle said "You can go with Becca you must be tired from driving."

"Ok.." Just. Be.Careful."

Kyle took Ciel to her room and kissed her forehead. "goodnight Ciel." he left and shut the door. 

Kyle - I can't believe this is happening I thought to myself heading to my room and falling asleep.

Theo

"something is most definitely going on with those two," said Theo

"I think so too but we shouldn't pry too much let her live a little," said Becca

"I am, I just hope nothing bad is going on," Theo said.

"I doubt it Let go to sleep, love," said Becca

"Okay goodnight I love you," 

Everyone fell asleep.
