The white-haired woman's voice wasn't loud, and neither was it hard.
Like a gentle melody being played, she had softly spoken and despite the numerous pleas Randy had been making, he heard her words clearly and immediately shut his mouth and looked at her in surprise.
With bits of the sun's ray passing through the dark clouds that hung in the air and falling on the white-haired woman, the image was given a certain glow to it and Randy who was down on his knees and looking at her from below couldn't help but go breathless as he thought he was looking at an angel.
Randy was still caught up in the stunning appearance of the white-haired woman when she let out a soft long sigh and then the world around Randy once again blurred and twisted.
The twisting and blurring had Randy's eyes float about for a few seconds but just as they adjusted and Randy was about to launch his first of questions at the white-haired woman, he took in his current location and couldn't help but begin looking left and right in shock and amazement at what he was seeing.
Tall wide pillars that were built around the temple, a silver and gold plated ceiling that reached so high that he had to squint his eyes to have a look at some of the engravings on It.
After having come to this place for almost every night of his life since the day he first came to the dream World, even though it had now been renovated and lavishly decorated, all it took was a single look for Randy to know he was back in the temple.
"Wow, with the decoration, It's really beautiful, you have a wonderful imagination, and your sense of artistry is out of this world."
As Randy sang his praises for the white-haired woman whom he correctly assumed was the one that had manipulated the temple to now look like this, after all, they were in a dream, Randy took a few slow steps forward as If he were in a trance.
The rows of chairs which had once been scattered, broken and dirty, the ones which Randy usually sat down on when he came to wait for the white-haired woman's body to ascend were now all turned to pure white and were in Pristine state.
Blending in with the white wall, the chairs gave the temple an aura of nothing but untainted purity, purity that invited anyone to come Into its Embrace.
Randy had just caught sight of the now new golden door of the temple and was just about to get lost in its grandness when the white-haired woman spoke.
"All I did was return the temple to its grand appearance, the one it bore before it was destroyed."
The gentleness with which the white-haired woman spoke and the contents of her words sent Randy's mind in a loop but before he could begin asking questions, the woman who was beside him suddenly turned to face him, her eyes sharp and her features going firm.
"Enough with the useless chit-chat, Do you really not remember anything, Raul."
The seriousness which had perfused the White haired woman's tone surprised Randy and then when she mentioned the man Raul, Randy couldn't help but quickly take a few steps backwards, true genuine fear in his eyes.
"Like I told you, I'm really not Raul, please believe me I'm not lying, I don't even know anyone called Raul."
Seeing Randy's reaction, the woman clicked her tongue in annoyance, her forehead creasing and giving her an unfathomable pitiful look that might have had Randy asking her what was wrong if he wasn't fearing for his life at the moment.
Though usually preferring to be noisy, this time Randy stayed silent as he let the woman ponder on whatever it was she had on mind, but when several seconds passed and the woman's expression hardened and she began staring at him, Randy got a chill as his guts twisted and warned him.
"Ma please don't do it, I don't want to feel that pain again, I really don't want to" Randy begged, tears already hanging on the edge of his eyes.
The woman kept staring at Randy for a few more seconds after his pleas and then she groaned.
"Fine I won't do it again," the woman said her feet going into motion as she walked past Randy and descended the altar which they had been on.
The white haired woman descended down the altar and then with elegance took a seat on own of the front row white seats that filled the temple.
"Come, have a seat," the white-haired woman said crossing her legs and then waving at Randy to sit on the stairs of the altar which she was facing.
Randy took a few cautious steps down the alar and then when he was on a step that would put his sitting figure in the same line of sight with the whitehaired woman, a sudden sense of safety filled him and he stopped and spoke
"Ehh can I instead have a seat beside you, the stairs aren't comfortable, my butt will ache if I sit on it."
Randy's words had the white-haired woman blink, but her face remained unchanging and then the next thing Randy knew he was sitting on the second step of the stairs and looking up at a pair of very not amused eyes.
"After my mother, you're the most beautiful woman in existence." Randy hurriedly said after a gulp a wide smile that he believed was charming on his face.
"A second ago you were begging for your life and now you're tempting fate, wouldn't it be pathetic if I just got moody and killed you."
"Ehhh, welp that will suck but you're a pretty lady, you won't do that."
"you say I won't, but in your eyes, I can see that you believe I would.
Though you still don't have your memories, you're just like you were back then a crazy child."
"Back then" Randy asked confusion in his tone.
"You know they say the one who points a finger first is the guilty one, so we'll in a way, you're the crazy one."
To Randy's words, the white-haired woman raised an eyebrow at him questioningly and without waiting to be asked to speak, Randy spoke some more.
"You say I'm crazy but you're the one who keeps on calling me someone else despite my several corrections, you even tortured me.
You're very pretty, but the truth is that you're the crazy one, the mad one." Randy said his last words coming out in a quiet tone as he noticed a wide smile had begun forming on the white-haired woman's face.
"Hello Randy, I'm Linda."
