"Hmm, considering I slept late, if my deduction of the sunset and sunrise in both earth and this place are correct, then they.... ohh"
After sleeping and of course, opening his eyes in his second all-powerful body, Randy had been quick to take the darkness around him to mean that it was still nighttime, but when he moved his hands and felt a hard structure to his left, right and top, he knew that he had been placed in some object.
"Did the demon curse fail" Randy began wondering quickly reaching for his riatsu and breathing a sigh of relief when he felt the powerful energy within himself respond to his command.
With his face going hard, Randy was about to burst out his energy when he remembered he had a sixth sense even in this world and quickly used it.
"Oh" Randy muttered, relaxing his nerves and then pressing both his hands to the obstacle above him he pushed with a bit of effort and soon had light Pouring on him.
"Any reason you put me in a coffin" Randy said ss a beautiful face appeared above him seconds after his eyes were bombarded with bright from the sun.
"Well though your aura is perfectly hidden, Baz thought we should be extra careful and so put you in this coffin which would seal off your aura and prevent anyone from sensing you, at most they will think you're a curse," Melissa said calmly answering Kruxe's question, as she knelt by his coffin and smiled as he sat up.
"Hmmm" Randy groaned as he checked out his surroundings, his body relaxing when he realized they were still in a forest and his head movement stopping when he spotted Baz.
"Ahhh, I take it he learnt about the whole matter and isn't amused" Randy said looking at the man calmly sitting cross-legged some meters away, his back to them.
"Yeah, but it's okay, he won't cause any trouble," Melissa said rapidly spitting out her last words.
"Hmm let's hope so, I wouldn't want to end such a valuable piece" Randy said to the hearing of Melisa and Baz especially.
A hard smile came to Melissa's face after Randy spoke, but before she could speak the boy stood up and without a word stepped out and took a look at the full-on white outfit he had on.
"Looks expensive" Randy muttered touching the white fabric which he had put on the previous day.
"Wait here" Randy commanded as he began strolling forward not caring for Melisa's outreached hand or confused face.
With his hands in his pocket, Randy strolled away from Baz and Melissa moving till they were out of sight, and then he leaned on a tree.
"Hey Linda," Randy said and the boy had just barely said the words when a reply came crashing on him.
"Randy is that you."
"Who else will it be " Randy asked sarcastically but with narrowed eyes.
"Well I don't expect anyone else, but given that it's you, I kind of expected you to only contact me later in the day when you're in danger" Linda said amazement still in her tone.
"Welp, that's a sad outlook of me" Randy said but he didn't deny her words.
"I'm here for answers and information Linda, so start spitting them out."
After speaking and not receiving a reply for several seconds, Randy's head furrowed, but then before the boy could speak again, Linda's voice sounded but this time it was cold and chilling.
"Are u ordering me"
Instinctively Randy wanted to say yes and challenge Linda, but after his past experiences, this time he was quick to catch himself and put some thoughts into his actions.
"Welp, this sounds like a hierarchy issue, so let's go straight to the point then.
Linda, what is our relationship?"
"Master and servant" Linda said her tone full of superiority.
"Don't tell me a certain ant wishes to climb up the hierarchy ladder." She said in amusement.
"Well considering all the information you've fed me so far, I don't see any reason why I should be inferior to you, it seems like what we had was an unfair trade especially when we consider the fact that I don't even know what you stand to gain from me absorbing this devil that has been put in me."
"So in essence you're saying since I can't in any way reinforce my authority as your superior, you see no reason to be subservient to me."
"Well if you want to go to the raw truth, then yes, that is what I'm saying."
"Very well we'll be equal partners then, is that satisfactory or do you want more" Linda said in defeat.
"It's not satisfactory, I want more," is what Randy would have liked to say, but with his brain active, he knew better than to communicate that now, so he told the woman that instead he was satisfied.
"Alright then, so what do you want to know," Linda said and within himself, Randy could only be amused at the woman's haughty tone.
Randy's entire battle with Baz had taught him how much he had to stop letting himself go wild whenever he felt like it, it had shown him how following his impulses could get him killed and though he had already begun committing to begin using his brain and not go running wild like he was still in the dream world where he could never die, the news from his mother made him feel a sort of impending danger.
With Linda being all secretive about why she was so invested in him absorbing a devil into himself, Randy felt like a pawn on a chessboard and with vehemence Randy wanted to get stronger and change his rank, he didn't just want to be promoted to the rank of queen or king, he wanted to become a player.
"Well first can you explain to me how this concept of a different world works, and then explain to me how exactly I am connected to earth, this world and the dream world."
