I made an attempt to scan my soundings. The mother looked at me and gasped. I looked at myself and was disgusted. I was covered in mud. 


Mother and child neared me, the little boy handing me a bottle of water. I appreciated it, washing my face in the process. Someone called out for help. Craning my neck, I spotted a ghost in bad shape. I jumped. ' help me ' I heard a voice. 


Wait. The humans heard me?. " Can you hear me ?" I asked the two of them. 


The humans affirmed, staring at me like I was crazy. I was reborn. I could see ghosts. What was going on?. I reached for my neck, feeling the rings and the locket. Did I just drag items from limbo in to the human world?. What time was it?. How long had I been away?. 


I asked the woman for the time. It was midday. The month and year . She replied. I had been gone for almost 5 months?!. I had to get to Skylar but how and where was I?. Only then did I drink in my surroundings.
