Floor Update: Presently on the fifth floor.
Albeit the workday prison is opened on the fifth floor, there are just three sorts of prisons accessible just after its opening: Isalta Mine, Candleroot Woods, and Singmir Level.
In these three prisons, you can gather substandard basic stones from the beasts that show up and exchange them for advancement stones, which will improve your capacities.
The timetable goes as follows: the mine on Mondays and Tuesdays, the woods on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and the level on Fridays and Saturdays. On Sundays, every one of the three workday prisons are open.
I wound up sitting on a seat in the square, savoring a succulent chicken leg.
It had been a surprisingly long time since I last tasted meat. I realized it had been north of a month since I showed up here without an opportunity to relish its delicious flavors.
Recently, on account of Jenna's fruitful chase, we at last had some meat for our feast. It was a welcomed change. Aside from the discussion of regardless of whether it tasted great, getting through on potatoes wouldn't give a fair nutritional intake.
"You paused, didn't you?"
"Yeah."
"If you thought it wise to say you didn't stand by, I would have moped."
Jenna rose up out of our housing.
She had a bow and quiver lashed to her back, with a blade swinging from her midsection.
"Did you partake in your dinner?"
"It was thrilling! I feel like I have eaten an entire deer."
Right now, a vivacious party was probable in progress in the lodging's eating corridor.
Indeed, that wasn't our principal concern. I made some noise:
"Iselle! I need to wander into the workday prison."
"[Prepare, I'll open the door!]"
Creak.
The gateway to the existence domain progressively appeared. The ongoing time displayed is 7:48 a.m.
The available opened workday prison is the level, correct?
"[Correct.]"
A day had slipped by in Earth's time since yesterday. We had been gradually developing a schedule by contrasting the time in the sitting area with Earth's time. With the last piece of chicken leg in my grasp, I neatly separated the remaining meat and threw the bones into the nearby garbage can.
Jenna and I arranged to step into the existence entryway together.
"[Climb the pinnacle and save the world!]"
"[Principal Prison: Current Floor 5][A different prison experience anticipates each day!]
[Workday Prison: Singmir Level (11 hours)][Collect an assortment of interesting materials!]
[Investigation Dungeon][Access denied! Accessible subsequent to clearing the Principal Prison tenth floor.]"
As I focused on the left, the entry to the principal prison showed up as a fully black void. Given the legends' independent activities, it was a natural result that there could have been no other open areas apart from the workday prison.
Coincidentally, could we at any point really become stronger by gathering these materials?
"Have I at any point been wrong? Just take cues from me."
Jenna, like myself, was nearly an advancement. To achieve her advancement, she needed to gather two basic stones.
Subsequently, just both of us were taking off. Aaron appeared to be making up for previous days missed training as he vigorously practiced with his lance since the break of dawn. Dica was there with him, helping out.
"[I've opened the entry. Just step into the mirror!]"
"Alright."
I raised my gaze.
Foreboding shadows lingered in the debris dim sky. Anytng, our normal association point, remained detached.
Putting my finger on the mirror's surface, I immediately entered. Faint waves spread from the resource as though the actual mirror reacted to my touch. After taking a deep breath, I pushed my body forward, completely submerging myself into the doorway.
The scene had changed.
A savage breeze yelled, making the tall reeds in the field twist low.
"[Transitory Party (Han, Jenna) has entered the workday prison, Singmir Level (Least Level). They will gather materials and return!]"
Ahead, a layered entry unfurled—a passage reminiscent of the one we had encountered in the forest.
Jenna arose out of the gateway, her hand pressed against her temple as she took in the surroundings.
"What a wonderful view! The cool wind is invigorating."
As we stood at the edge of the cliff, the expansive plain unfurled beneath us. While we couldn't determine the exact altitude, it seemed to surpass at least 1,000 meters above sea level. Extending our hands beyond the cliff, we encountered an ethereal barrier blocking our way.
Inside the cliff, a sprawling meadow unfurled before our eyes. Suddenly, a red blossom caught my eye—a vibrant bloom nestled within a crevice.
"It's a Lifebloom."
I had seen illustrations of this flower, and its six-parted petals—a fundamental element for making healing potions. If time allowed, we should gather some before leaving.
"Take cues from me."
"Got it!"
We pushed through the glade, moving onward.
"The beast you really want to get here is the Highland Tracker. They have a basic development pattern. If you track with here, a river emerges, and around the river—"
"I'm lucky."
We found it immediately.
"[Highland Tracker Lv.10]"
Highland Tracker was a monstrous wolf with blue-black fur.
He was drinking water with his feet in the stream. We were crouched under a stone about five meters from the river.
"Is that big guy the prey?"
I nodded without speaking.
I drew my blade from the sheath and raised my shield. Jenna put a bolt on her bow.
In this domain, we would face the Level Trackers—a challenge we were fully prepared for. Each workday prison housed its specific guardian: deer in the forest, wolves in the plains, and snakes in the caves.
"Hold back nothing."
"Wouldn't it be smarter to go for a headshot, bringing him down in one strike?"
"He'll fight back fiercely."
Jenna drew her bow, aligning her sights to the wolf, while I unsheathed my blade and raised my shield. She nocked an arrow.
Jenna fixed her aim on the wolf.
The arrow was released.
*Ping!*
The wolf agilely dodged the arrow, as though anticipating the attack.
"He dodged!"
"I told you, it won't be just simple."
This wolf had a unique skill called Shock Sidestep, which had a high chance of dodging projectile strikes. Although aiming for non-vital areas would diminish their defensive abilities, it seemed our tactic had failed too.
*Grrrr*
The wolf exuded a clear sense of aggression.
"There's no need to conceal ourselves anymore." I stepped out from behind the stone, slowly revealing my presence.
*Thunk, thunk!*
Yellow droplets flew as the wolf snarled.
This creature surpassed the common forest inhabitants in size, much like the Forest Sovereign. Its robust limbs displayed vigorous muscles, and with each snarl, its sharp teeth gleamed in the light.
"He looks tough, but I aim to land a strike."
"Don't worry, I'll give an opening."
"Let's go!"
I charged forward, wielding my shield, as the wolf lunged
at me.
"I need to use the Fury State."
