Ava pulled Regina by the hand out of the store. Karen and Gretchen saw Ava pulling Regina and followed them, while Elena was busy shopping. Everyone glanced at Ava and Regina as they entered the mall's underground parking. Ava pushed Regina inside the car, and Karen and Gretchen followed suit, but before they could get inside, Ava closed the door. Ava's car has a one-sided mirror.
Regina looked at Ava with a little hesitation. "Are you going to kidnap me in front of the whole mall?"
Ava chuckled and said, "I don't do that kind of shit, but you have to pay for what you did."
Regina frowned and asked again, "What do you want from me then?"
Ava replied, touching Regina's cheeks, "You said it was an accident, right?"
Regina flustered and said, "Yes, it was an accident."
Ava said while pinching her cheek, "Then you don't want this accident to be spread, right?"
Regina felt a shiver down her spine and asked, "What do you mean, are you trying to blackmail me?"
Ava started laughing and said, "Let's start with introductions. I'm Ava Lewis." She signaled for Regina to introduce herself. Regina hesitated a bit and replied, "I am Regina George." Ava looked at Regina and thought, 'She does look like Regina George from Mean Girls.'
Ava asked, "Do you know Cady Heron?" Regina nodded and replied, "Yes, I know her. She's after my ex-boyfriend." Ava chuckled as she remembered how the school bus will broken some bones in Regina's body.
Ava said, "Well, Regina, you stole my first kiss, so you have to pay for it." Regina sighed and asked, "So how much do you want?" Ava stroked Regina's chin and said, "I don't want money, but I want you."
Regina was taken aback. "What?"
As Regina was about to speak, Karen knocked on the door and asked, "Regina, are you safe, or should we call 911?" Ava looked at Regina and said, "Tell them you know me, or you'll become the famous lesbian of your school." Regina nodded and, while rolling down the window of the car, said, "I know her; she's my childhood friend."
Karen and Gretchen asked, "Really?" Regina nodded and looked at Ava. Ava said, "You guys can go now; Regina will stay with me, right Regina?" Regina replied hastily, "Yeah, I will."
Karen looked at Regina and asked, "So, should we go right?" Regina gave Karen her car keys and said, "You can take my car; Ava will drop me." Karen and Gretchen took the car keys and left.
Regina then looked at Ava after confirming that Karen and Gretchen were gone and asked, "What do you mean you want me?"
Ava replied, "It's obvious. I want you as my lover."
Regina looked at Ava with shock. "Lover? Seriously, I am straight. I am not a lesbian."
Ava said, "But I am a lesbian."
Regina replied, "What does that have to do with me?"
Ava asked, "Then how about a bet?"
Regina asked cautiously, "What kind of bet?"
Ava replied, "The bet is that you will date me for one month like a normal couple. If you want, then we can continue our relationship. If not, then you are free, and I won't interfere in your life."
Regina, sensing it wasn't that simple, asked, "So what's the catch?"
Ava chuckled and replied, "Not much, if you win—which means you don't want any relationship after one month—I'll forget everything that happened today."
Regina asked, "And if you win?" but secretly hoping she wouldn't.
Ava replied, "If I win, it means we'll still be in a relationship after one month, but you have to accept me having more than one girlfriend."
Regina thought to herself, 'Anyway, she's not going to win, as I'm straight.'
Ava looked at Regina's expression and said, "Well, do you want to start dating from today or tomorrow?"
Regina replied, "Let's start now, but I have to take leave from school for one month. I don't want anyone to know about this whole thing, and I know you'll try every day to expose me if I'm at school."
Ava said with a sad expression, "How harsh. I'm not a villain."
Regina thought, 'But to me, you are a villain.'
Ava looked at Regina and said, "Let's go; I'm not done with the shopping yet." Ava and Regina arrived at the same store where this whole thing started. Regina looked at Ava and asked, "Can we go to a different store?" Ava smirked and, holding Regina's hand, said, "As you wish, darling." Regina's face turned red. "What are you doing?" Ava replied cluelessly, "I don't know what you're talking about." Regina pointed at her hand, which Ava was holding. Ava, holding Regina's hand and pulling it towards her face, kissed it. "You mean this? Holding hands is common in couples." Regina, flustered, replied, "I know that, but we are in public."
Ava whispered in Regina's ear, "I am just holding your hand. I can do more, do you want that?"
Regina shook her head, fearing Ava would really do that.
Ava chuckled and replied, "I am just joking." As Ava said that, they saw a couple kissing in front of them. Ava's face turned red as they started walking fast. When they got inside another store, Regina started laughing and said, "That was funny; did you see how your face turned red?" Ava replied sarcastically, "Hahaha, very funny." Regina saw Ava's expression and said, "Sorry, I was just joking." Ava nodded and said, "It's okay, let's shop. I will pay." Regina said, "No, you don't have to; it's just shopping." Ava said while rubbing Regina's head, "A boyfriend should take care of his girlfriend's needs."
Regina replied, "But you are a girl; how can you be my boyfriend?" Regina's sharp words pierced through Ava's heart. Ava stabilized herself and said, "Then how about, a lover should take care of his girlfriend's needs." Regina nodded and said, "That sounds better." Ava's phone started ringing. She picked it up and said, "Elena, what happened?" Elena replied, "Where are you? I can't pick up all the bags by myself." Ava said with a little guilt, "Sorry, I forgot. I will be there in a minute." Ava looked at Regina, who was choosing some skirts. Ava held Regina's hand and said, "Let's go." Regina inquired, "Where?" Ava replied, "To meet my other girlfriend." Regina was shocked, "Wwwhhhhaaatttt?"

[Author's note: you can imagine anyone as Regina if you want. As I don't describe Regina much in novel.]
