Victorious Fighting Asura.(3)

Sukuna's evil aura shrouded the city, alerting every living sorcerer or cursed spirit within.

"The girls must have succeeded. They brought Sukuna out!"

Jin laughed as he remembered the seemingly impossible task he sent Mimiko and Nanako to do. He was surprised and impressed that they actually pulled it off.

Now, if they made it out alive, was another situation entirely.

'I can't sense them...but let's see what is happening.'

BOOM!!

Another explosion went off as Jin sensed three different energies clashing against each other several blocks away from him.

All of them belonged to exceedingly powerful beings.

'There's Sukuna, Jogo and...Hanami? They're fighting him together? Well, heh...let's go even the odds.'

Glancing at Nagi and Utahime, Jin said, "You two, I have a special task for you. When the new sorcerer awakens from her slumber, all of you go find Kenjaku and bring him to me. That's all. I will handle everything else."

Just as Jin was about to step off, Nagi grabbed him by the shoulder, surprisingly and muttered, "Master Jin...you don't need to do everything by yourself. I can-"

"Leave it alone, Nagi. Focus on the task at hand. Don't worry, I will never be defeated."

WHOOSH!

In the next moment, Jin transformed into an eagle and flew over to Sukuna's location with incredible speed, eager to engage in battle with the King Of Curses.

"Does he always act that way? He seems so...lonely."

Hearing these words, Nagi pulled out a cigarette and sat cross legged next to Mei Mei's wriggling body.

"That's just how he is. I think he just puts too much responsibility on his shoulders sometimes. Well...I know he'll be alright..."

Nagi exhaled a puff of smoke and looked in the direction that Jin was flying. Explosions were going off continuously from the battle as the level of destruction escalated tremendously.

It was an incredible sight.

Jin was high enough above the clouds that he could see the entire battlefield the trio fought in.

"Hehehe!! Come on!! Is that all you can do?!"

Sukuna was having the time of his life fighting against the cursed spirits. Jogo was keeping up well enough, but Hanami was in a sorry state.

So the moment he saw the cursed spirit isolate himself from the other two, Jin was just going to remove him from the equation.

WHOOSH!!

Using the momentum built from flight, Jin dived down with incredible speed and promptly turned back into his human form, appearing behind Hanami before he could react.

But of course, he wasn't fast enough to escape Sukuna's attention.

"Jin Itadori!! You've finally shown yourself!"

Hearing Sukuna's echoing voice from across the city, Jin laughed. Even though they haven't met before, meeting this kind of man was like seeing an old friend once again.

They were both war hungry, borderline psychopathic men who thoroughly enjoyed the thrill and dangers of battle.

It was a destined meeting.

BOOM!

Feeling the presence behind him, Hanami immediately caused a swarm of roots to appear from the ground in an effort to counter Jin.

BANG! BANG!

The ground suddenly collapsed as Hanami felt multiple snakes pulling him through the building with incredible force. The roots he initially summoned seemed to have hit nothing.

Hanami was so confused on what Jin was doing that he didn't see a human hand appearing out of a snakes mouth.

By the time he could even register what was going on, the hand had already grabbed him and pulled him down into the snakes gullet, swallowing him whole.

Just like that, Hanami was killed while his body, mind and cursed energy were devoured by Jin.

It was too fast. Too instantaneous. Hanami died before he even had the chance to defend himself properly.

'That was the kind of death he deserved for working with that filth Kenjaku.'

Anticlimactic.

Regular.

Unassuming.

All of that status as a special grade and he died like a random dog on the street. Such was the end of Hanami's life.

In the next instant, Jin reverted his human form, cracking his neck as he turned his attention to Sukuna and Jogo.

'It's like everytime I use my cursed technique, I discover new applications to it. These snakes were more useful than I thought they would be. Now that Hanami is gone...I'll wait for Sukuna to defeat Jogo. Then, we'll have our showdown.'

Jin transformed again and soared into the skies, locking on to the battle ahead.

He could see Jogo fighting with all of his might, burning everything around him with his blazing fury.

But Sukuna was just...well, for lack of a better term, better.

He countered everything Jogo threw at him with incredible precision, defeating the spirit in all aspects.

Even with all-encompassing maximum technique, Meteor, all Jogo did was seemingly hit empty space with it as Sukuna handily dodged and finished him off with his own element, a well placed fire arrow.

'Jogo fought well. He was stronger than I thought...but that is all he could amount to in the end. Now...'

Just as Jin was about to swoop down, he saw a figure quickly approach Sukuna and take a knee.

The moment he saw who it was, Jin's anger flared up the skies.

'Uraume!'

One of Kenjaku's allies.

But her true lord was Sukuna.

And being the King Of Curses, he already spotted Jin from a mile away as he curiously looked up into the night sky, his eyes glued onto the eagle.

"Uraume...what do you think about-"

Just as Sukuna was about to complete his sentence, he sensed a sinister aura coming from several blocks away.

'This comes from a cursed spirit. But...why does it seem so familiar?'

Leaving a few parking words to Uraume, Sukuna quickly hurried over to where he sensed the energy with Jin following right behind.

That energy even attracted his attention.

'Uraume could be handled later along with Kenjaku. To me, she is already a walking corpse.'

Enhancing his wings with red lightning, Jin hurriedly flew over to the scene, reaching the location within moments.

When he did, he could see Sukuna healing a young teenager and right after, turning to face off against a tall white cursed spirit with a wheel on it's back.

There was also another curse user there...but Jin knew he was a non-factor in this situation.

'Haruta...Shigemo? I think that's his name. Why is this fool here? Tch.'

Jin turned his attention to Sukuna and the creature, his eyes glued to their positions.

BOOM! BOOM!

In the next moment, they moved and clashed with each other, both of them getting thrown back by the other's attacks.

'What a strange cursed spirit.'

Jin reverted to his human form and jumped down onto the street, standing in between the two opponents who were just emerging from the smoke.

"Finally decided to show yourself, eh Itadori? Come to save your son?"

Sukuna laughed as he looked at Jin, his hands in a packet of popcorn.

"Heh. Nothing like that. I just came to see how good the so-called King Of Curses is...so far I'm impressed."

Jin cracked his neck and got into a fighting stance, red cursed energy surging all over his body.

"But...it is not enough."

By this time, the cursed spirit had emerged, its gaze locked on to both men.

"Go!"

SLASH! SLASH!

The creature's chest was suddenly cut open by an invisible slash while Jin barely managed to dodge, the attack eviscerating the building behind him.

'That slash was invisible! How did he manage to push Shrine to such an extent?'

Quickly plucking out several strands of hair, Jin turned them into clones as he sent them all to confront the creature.

Sukuna was his to battle.

WHOOSH!

The two quickly rushed each other, clashing fists while destroying the ground around them in the process.

Jumping over multiple slashes from Sukuna, Jin quickly made a hand sign and spun mid-air, sending out a few slashes of his own.

"You can use my technique! Interesting!"

Sukuna laughed as this realization hit him, his body dodging Jin's clearly visible slashes on instinct.

Just from that interaction, Sukuna could tell that Jin's 'Shrine' was not as refined as his. This was a weakness that he could exploit.

BOOM!

The two of them clashed fists again, this time engaging in a battle of close range slashes that quickly took to the air.

If one could see this fight from the outside, they would just see buildings collapsing with vicious tears in their foundations, and streets being bisected with incredible force.

The innocent people nearby didn't fare any better.

The night sky was covered in a thick mist of blood from the amount of people slaughtered in the crossfire of their short exchange.

Physics be damned as the two seemingly levitated mid-air while locked in battle, both of their bodies riddled with bone-deep cuts.

It was a ghastly sight.

WHOOSH!

Suddenly, the creature appeared!

In one motion, it blew both Jin and Sukuna back with a well placed slash from it's sword.

Strangely enough, the creature then split into two, cloning itself. The real one rushed at Sukuna while the clone engaged Jin.

Sensing it's incredible speed through the smoke caused by his collision with the ground, Jin quickly turned his hair into a staff, thrusting it at the creature.

'Stretch. Grow thicker. Multiply.'

0.1 seconds.

That's all it took for the staff to reach the creature's body. Before it could even react, multiple clones of the now giant staff struck the creature with ruthless ferocity, eviscerating and disintegrating the clone into nothingness.

"Sending a mere clone to distract me...don't insult me, wretched beast."
