End of an era
"I'm just worried about your majesty. He recently didn't have time to pay attention to his family. As a friend of his, I just need to make sure that you and your daughter are in the best care."
"I have my servants for such matters. You don't need to waste your time on me when you also have work to do."
"I don't have as many tasks as the king has, but I can task myself to take care of his wife and daughter."

The sultan slowly approached the queen. She was surprised that he kept coming closer despite knowing that she could summon guardsmen with a scream. But he did not even let her have the opportunity to consider screaming for help. To her dismay, he approaches her and forced a kiss on her.
*kiss* *smooch*
"Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm....!"
*wack*
"Let go of me you bastard!"
"I won't and there is nothing you can do about it. You belong to me, you should've been mine. He stole everything from me, but now I'll reclaim all of it."
"Guards! Seize this man immediately!"
"There is no one around to save you from my gasp."
"No! How could this be? Leave me!"
"You're mine, you must give in to me!"
*crash*
"M-my liege..."
"W-what are you doing here? You're not supposed to be back already."
"Edmont, I trusted you...How dare you attempt to sully my wife behind my back?"
"I-I can explain..."
"Guards! Bring him to the prison!"
"No, you cannot do this...you CANNOT do this to me! Reinhard! I'll not let anything slip away from me again! Mark my words Reinhard! One day I'll take everything from yo just like you did to me!"
"Psycho, I am not yours and never will be."
"Heh, never mind. The young one is already on my side."
He laughed maniacally while being dragged away forcefully by the castle guards, leaving only the king and his queen inside the room. He sighed and tried to come up with something to ease her down. But the queen would like to be left alone so he walked out of the chamber. Queen Rosaline sat alone in her room, crying in silence. The king could only hope for his wife to recover from the traumatic experience with the filthy man that he mistakenly trusted.
Evaline heard from her maid that her mother was almost sullied by the sultan and intended to visit her but her father stopped her, saying that the queen wanted to be left alone. She couldn't understand why he didn't have the sultan executed already. The king reassured her that he would do something about it. For the moment, they should have dinner.
After dinner, Evaline thought about getting stronger so that she could protect her family and people from the likes of the sultan. She suddenly realized that she never saw the mysterious person after the night that they gave her the strange red crystal. Thinking about that, she could feel the crystal pulsating inside her but it was faint so she casted the thought aside.
Later on, she sneaked outside once more and review all her training sessions in controlling her powers. At the moment she could not only create crystals but also bend them to her will with imagination. She planned to showcase this to her family and all the people in the kingdom on the upcoming anniversary of the kingdom. Which would prove that she was worthy to inherit her father's throne should he retire from the position.
A few days passed by, the annual anniversary of the kingdom came. All the servants were busy with the preparations. The king and the queen also prepared for the event, yet their daughter was nowhere to be seen. The queen wondered where she could have been in this important day. A while later Evaline showed up, she told her parents that she was busy with choosing a dress among those she had in her closet. Her parents shrugged him of and took her to a place that the king prepared with his current powers.
Below the balcony that the royalty often used to present themselves to their people was a huge ground for citizens to gather. It was estimated to be hundreds of meters wide. Soon after, all the citizens from all the corners of the kingdom gathered in the grounds. With everyone present, the king began his speech.
"Greetings, my people. As you have known, I am king Reinhard Emeraude or king Emeraude VI. We all gather here in honor of the day this kingdom was born."
King Reinhard continued with his speech while the queen and princess sat on their respective seat. Everyone at the ground paid attention at his word along with the castle guardsmen. Suddenly a knight came in the balcony to inform something urgent.
"Y-your highness, the sultan...escaped."
"""!?"""
Evaline and her parents were shocked to hear that the sultan managed to break out of prison even with the tight security. The king assembled all guardsmen to search for him in every corner. The crowds starts chattering among themselves. Then, one of them noticed a figure sneaking behind Evaline and stabbed her with something. Suddenly she felt the red crystal inside her pulsated aggressively and she wirtheled in agony.
"Evaline!"
"Guards! Get him!"
"It's already too late, Reinhard. Your daughter's life ends here and now."
The princess felt down to the ground below. Her body was coated in crystals and she started shooting out tendrils that pierced through some civilians and drain their life force.
"Help! Someone please help us..."
"I don't want to die!"
One by one, she drained the life force from people. The corpses morphed into humanoid crystal monsters and started attacking people as well. Chaos was in everywhere in the ground.
"Hahahahahaha! I finally stole something precious from you."
"EDMONT! You'll pay for this!"
The king charged ahead and had a sword duel with the sultan. He and his for both had a long experience with swords in their life so the battle was tense. The king leaped and slashed downward but the sultan responded with an upper slash. The king rapidly attacked and the sultan did the same until a bit later, the king was victorious. However, this was in the sultan's plan all along as he held a red crystal and jumped down to meet the monstrous princess.
"Look at this, Reinhard. I'm going to achieve true power by merging with the parasite inside her."
"What?"
At the sultan's word. He held out the parasite from Evaline's body and drew it inside him, transforming him into a large humanoid monster. As for the princess, her body was left with a hole in her torso. The queen had to call a guard to carry her to a secret chamber. Before Evaline lost consciousness, she called out to her father but he decided to stay and fight.
"Evaline, I leave the kingdom's future in your capable hands."
"No!"
"Men, we're born in this land and we shall die in this land as well. Do not let those feral creatures stain our home land any longer!"
"Sir yes sir!"
Those were the last words Evaline heard from him as he led the men into the chaotic ground. She then lost consciousness.
In a chamber, her mother put her inside a circle then began chanting something. The air surrounding her body morphed into a thick layer of crystal that produced enough energy for her to recover automatically. Queen Rosaline bid farewell to her and asked the guard to take her to her king.
When the queen arrived, the king was killed by the monster that was once the sultan. She activated her powers and fought it until the end but the amount of drained life force had empowered it far beyond her capabilities so it eventually ended with her lying down beside her king and accepting her faith, leaving the future to their daughter.

In the vast abyss of darkness, Chella is looking around to find the consciousness inside the body that she found earlier. After seeing her memories, she couldn't help but feel bad for the unfortunate girl. But now she needs to wake Evaline and asks her for help so she keeps walking. She finds a bedroom in the middle of the abyss and sees a blonde girl around her age covering her face in the pillow, crying.
"Excuse me, are you by any chance princess Evaline Emeraude."
Noticing a voice beside her own, Evaline stops crying and turns to see a girl with dark green hair and eyes.
"I don't deserve to be a princess, I've failed everyone."
"But I need your help, my friends need your help too."
"I can't help you. The power given to me was a lie and now it's gone. It's better that way."
"But your parents entrusted the future to you."
"They died! Everyone died! The kingdom was long gone, there is nothing for me to protect anymore."
"But I'm not from your kingdom."
What Chella just said makes Evaline notice that a voice other than her own miraculously appears after what feels like 300 years. In summary, there is a stranger in her mind.
"Wh-who are you?"
