Loathsome feathers

He eventually reached The Falcon's nest surrounded by a tall wall made out of steel. He took out his gun as he hit a guard by crashing into him and shot the other one with his gun. After taking down the two entrance guards, he sneaked inside and saw many warehouses aligned neatly and several bandits patrolling around. He wondered to himself if one of them happened to contain prisoners. But he had to know where she would be from Falcon himself before finishing him off.

He sneaked through the corners, evading from the sights of the guards. He entered one of the ware house and found a small spacecraft with the maximum of three seats. After finishing his business here it would be his. He entered a nearby warehouse and found a generator and asked Digit to hack it's system for further uses. He carefully sneaked through some warehouses and found a cabin with a bunch of bandits guarding the place.

Digit played a whistling sound that distracted them as he sneaked pass through from a different corner. He opened the door and entered the cabin, he found a ladder but chose to climb inside a venting pipe. He crawled through a few place and reached where the Falcon was supposed to be but he wasn't there. The young man got out of the vent and examined a computer, allowing Digit to draw a map of the base. After that he got out of the room but got caught by two guardsmen patrolling, they knocked him down and brought him to the prison quarters.

He found himself within a cell along with other captives. Then he heard footsteps coming in his direction. There were two guardsmen and another one who were a blonde wearing a red jacket with a big falcon symbol on the back. Once again, something boiled within him and even more greatly.

A guardsman pointed to the young man informing his boss that a green haired peasant somehow got inside their base but was caught by the patrolling group. The blonde guy took a glance and asked how he infiltrated the place, but the young man did not intend to answer as he was trying to contain his smile. The sensation he felt when he saw and heard The Falcon was something hard to ignore. Even though both of them were separated by the iron bars, the young predator was struggling with his hunger. The Falcon himself saw his captive as a silent one but continued showing off his might to the his subordinates.

"Hey! You dare give me the silent treatment? Wait, you look familiar...You were that one kid beaten up by my men."

"..."

"Oh right, I remembered how hard you screamed when we took your sister away. I have to say, she looked real nice. Had it not been for the duty I would've banged her."

"Bastard! That filthy beak of yours will never open again."

"Feisty, aren't you? Just like your sister, oh how I wanted to-"

The young man jumped and pulled Falcon by his shirt into the bars, his subordinates attacked the young man with a stun gun. The Falcon became irritated and told his men to deal with the captive later as he walked away. The young man was left alone, smiling while his cellmates looked with fear.

A bit later, a blackout suddenly happened. Which led to the jail cells being unlocked. Not understanding what was going on, the prisoners still took the chance to escape guided by their instinct. They attacked some unsuspecting guards and stole some weapons and fought against the other guards. Using them as a perfect distraction, the young man asked his trusted partner - Digit to show him the way due to the map he acquired before getting caught. The situation seemed to be favoring him as he made his way out of the underground facility swiftly.

Upon exiting, he found no guardsmen around as expected. Because most of them had moved into underground to deal with escapees, which were a bunch. He walked around the quiet place but the silence soon ended as he barely dodged something coming from behind. The Falcon spotted him from a rooftop and jumped down. He clapped his hands while looking at the green haired young man.

"You really were something else. I didn't expected this much ruckus to shift our attentions away from you. Perhaps you really were behind this.

"Perceptive, as expected of a hunter. But all of this was contributed for my win so the one who will be hunted down...is you."

"So you simply wanted to rescue your princess, I see. But this boss level might be too hard for you, kid."

"I'm eighteen for you information. Do your worst."

The Falcon smiled and then he created something from his palm. It was a red boomerang, thin but sharp. He threw it the young man and he dodge it. Falcon threw two more boomerangs and he dodged, but they shifted direction and aimed at him. He barely avoided them but still had minor cuts on his arms. Falcon did not give his foe any chance, he threw even more boomerangs. Without his gun, he wouldn't be able to attack but he remembered there was an armory nearby. He evaded the continuous attacks carefull, slowly reaching the door. However, the armory exploded, knocking him away.

"I knew you would resort to that but I'm four parallel universes ahead of you. It is a huge lost, considering the amount of weapons stored inside. But now, you don't have anymore tricks. It's game over, too bad I couldn't make you see your precious sister being ravished."

"Urg..."

"How could a normal human hope to defeat an Apex? Not to mention, you have nothing to defend yourself now. Is the despair kicking in? You're no different than those weaklings down there. I'll cut down your persistence with my lovely boomerangs."

"I too, am going to chop down your head while you cough up blood. Let's see if your boomerangs can truly cut through anything."

"I like your spirit, but playtime's over. Condor Crescent!"

Falcon held his hands toward the sky and conjured a group of boomerangs aligned into a big triangle then launched it into the sky. It flew downward and morphed into a barrage of boomerangs, descending like a rain of feathers. It was a wide-range attack that would be useful for hitting multiple opponents or making someone unable to dodge it. It would be a sure-hit if the enemy didn't have high speed or consider blocking it off. The young man unexpectedly did the latter.

"H-how are you still standing? You shouldn't be able to dodge it with that kind of speed earlier. Unless..."

"Correct, feeble brain. I blocked it or more accurately, parried your boomerangs."

"For real?"

"Yes, for real. Can't you see that I am still alive and kicking?"

"But, you're just a nobody! You could barely stand against my men the other day, weak as a a human you are."

"I guess this was why technology existed, your data of me was far outdated. I did not spend two months of grief for nothing, you know. Enough talking, time to receive karma."

Falcon's henchmen showed up from the cabin door and reported that their force was overwhelmed by the escapees. In truth, it was according to the young man's scheme. When he was in the cell with them he already had printed blueprints of the base's map in possession and gave them those copies. That gave them some advantages in battle especially when the enemies wouldn't expect them to know their way.

Falcon did not enjoy the situation he was in. He did not see it coming at all. It must be the green haired peasant in front of him that planned it all, he thought to himself. He could no longer enjoy the hunt when he became the hunted, thus he ordered his men to obliterate his predator. They prepared to shoot him but he held his arms upward. The bandits didn't thought that he got scared but Falcon knew something was amiss.

A big red triangle flew into the sky and morphed into boomerangs as it descended. The bandits watched the whole thing with shock. What all of them were seeing was something never thought possible, Falcon's greatest technique - Condor Crescent was being used against him and his men. The bandits could do nothing but writhed in pain as the attack wounded them. Falcon himself got hit as well. Having seemingly no wits as he was, it would be inevitable.

"Now you're coughing up blood, remember what I said?"

"No, don't come any c-closer!"

"I won't be able to end you without doing so."

Falcon was screaming while he kept throwing boomerangs at someone he fatally underestimated. Yet, he knocked them all away with his own boomerang. It was a clear defeat for Falcon, all the bad deeds he had committed so far finally caught up to him. But the victor did not concern himself with righteousness, he merely wanted to enact vengeance. Falcon saw in his dark eyes the urge to tear something apart.

"I could lead you to your sister...I-I knew where she was sent to."

"I don't trust you, I don't need you. Therefore, you are of no use."

"No! I don't want to die! I still want to taste more women! Please don't kil-"

*splash*

With a swing, Falcon's head was physically disconnected from his body. Before ending the day, he also finished the bandits trying to crawl their way out of the scene. He stood in silence for a bit, looking at the sky as he contently revealed his sense of relief and liberty though it quickly ended. He left the stronghold, having nothing else to do in there.

Later on, the escapees found some corpses after they exited the cabin. One of them realized that Falcon was among the corpses, his head severed. They all wondered who did it but eventually left the stronghold. The place would become abandoned as it was devoid of life.

After dealing with the first target of his revenge, the young man decided to go back to the town he last visited. When he arrived, he saw people being anxious about those captured by Falcon and his men but a while later the escapees finally made their way back home. Everyone in town celebrated at night and he enjoyed some food paid with the money he conveniently looted from Falcon's stronghold. The night was lively, he enjoyed the dinner and looked at the sky as he thought about his sister.
