Chapter 7. Progress

Building a village is never an easy task, normally it would take months– if not, Years to build it. It would take even more so for a normal person to build a village, especially one as innovative and modern as mine.

Luckily, I am no normal person. During the planning stage I drafted countless blue prints of countless houses that not only upheld modern aspects (such as AC, Heaters, a refrigerator and solar powering), they are also ingrained with the ecosystem and can be modified as one see it.

The Houses' exteriors didn't look fancy for a "high-end clan" such as the otsutsuki, however, the interior would forever rival the Royal dynasty of this era, not only in looks but also practicality.

On the north side of the village, there is a designated area for the different types of crops that could grow and also a separate area for cattle of the like.

On the west side, a little away from the village and into the forest that surrounds it, was a training ground; as of now it is a flat peace of land that is coded in seals to change the terrain depending on the users attributes, it is also covered in a layer of protection barrier to keep accidents from getting out. In the future I will add more things to it.

The village is also parted by a road leading up to the hill my house is on to overlook the place. Each house in this village is unique in every way and is hand crafted by yours truly.

I also placed a medic bay and a science lab on the west side as well. Once my people come, I will assign roles to suit their physique.

Now, you may be wondering, how did I even get the materials to build such a place? I have the power to create anything as long as I envision it. The chakra used on this village is merely a drop in the ocean. Of course I used some natural resources so it's not entirely made of my chakra.

As I looked at my creation, I couldn't help but smile. This was what accomplishment looked like.

Kaguya felt a tug on her garb and looked down. It was chibi Issac holding a sign, 'it's time! '

She rubbed his head, " thank you for reminding me" Chibi Issac ran away.

Well then,

Let's see them shall we?

======

The day was rather hot, however, due to the unbubbling excitement no one paid any it any mind.

Today is the day they meet the princess that was crazy enough to choose them. The settlers all have their possessions packed, some carrying them while the heavier stuff is off to the side.

The settlers gathered in the centre with Marko leading the group with the silent one a step behind. The twins, Yuka and her sisters; Marai and Akari, are behind them also.

" Look! " a man said, "is that the princess? "

Gasped echoed as the people look up to see a tall beauty with long silver hair and a royal gown descending elegantly.

"so pretty" Yes, That's Kaguya in all her alien beauty.

She floated down before directing her attention to Marko. " has everyone accepted my proposal? "

" Yes Princess. " Marko said.

"Good." Kaguya then smiled turning her attention to the crowd, her voice sounded please to the ear, "Good morning everyone! From this moment forward, You are now considered an Otsutsuki. Of Course, being an Otsutsuki means that there are certain expectations and Responsibilities to the clan. Fear Not However, I am quite the relaxed leader so it's nothing to worry about." She says, walking between the crowd and placing seals with a slight of the hand before going to the front.

" The seals I have placed opon you are an indictor that you are my people and the benefits the seal provides will show time. Before we continue further, while there are rules of the clan. There are 4 particular rules that is a must to obey " She paused, looking into every single person's eyes and puts up a finger.

" Number 1. Do No Harm To Fellow Clan Members. This includes sabotage, experimenting or Out Right Violence to another person or yourself. Emotional and Mental harm and embezzlement are included. If there's a conflict, you can work out a solution yourselves or a mediation will be done in a court setting where both parties present their cases and the appointed Governor of Conflict will judge the matter. " she puts out a second finger,

"Number two, Respect Everyone.

Show respect to be given Respect.

This includes having integrity for one's self and others. Number three. Be loyal to the Clan. Be loyal to your Family," she gestures to the crowd and herself. " Clan Secrets are secrets for a reason and should be treated as such. And Finally, rule 4. Is to be safe. In whatever you doing, where ever you go. Be safe, Do Not put yourselves in asinine situations and expect sensible result. Those who defy these rules will be punished depending on the severity of them."

She ended with a stern face. Suddenly, the more experienced practitioners in the crowd was made accutely aware of the seal pulsing beneath their skin.

The rest however, watched in silence as their New Clan leader said the rules. Truly, biased on her dramatic pausing they were expecting something darker and in this time period, what she basically said was ' Be nice Kids!'

Yuka's eyes spirkled and she smuggly side-eyes the crowd as if to say, ' See? Whatcha told ya!'

Kaguya gave the crowd look once over, nodding once before abruptly teleporting everyone to the Otsutsuki Compound. People stumbled, some fell while others vomited; their bodies could not understand such movement. But the one thing that was evident was the breath-taking sight before them. It was nothing they have ever seen before.

What is this....?

Was this where they would live now?

Is this heaven?

" This," Kaguya gestures to her first work in this world, a pleased smile on her face. " Is the Otsutsuki Compound, Welcome Home Everyone."

========

Kaguya flopped on her couch after giving her people a tour. She was incredible tired– not physically but mentally, dealing with people has always been an exhausting task.

She had spent an entire week answering questions and inquiries about everything, delegating individuals who had potential to certain positions, getting everyone settled and use to modernization. However, there was nothing quite amusing than seeing grown men fearfully using a stick to poke at a light switch.

Although plenty of things were accomplished during the week, there are things that still needed to be done. At least she was able to cross off a point in her evergrowing bucket list. That was progress.
