Chapter 37: Lazarus

Barbaric Bob - I thought about it, I really did, but decided not too.

Reappearing in the livingroom, I put my suit into Standby Mode, and made my way over to my Lab. The materials were teleported there as soon as Auntie got them, they were just as Excited to work on this as I was, and now that we had the mats, we could get to work. (Still, the fact it took a few days to get this amount of raw copper, silver, and diamonds, is kind of annoying.) It sucked that I needed those ores and couldn't just substitute them with Diamondhead crystals, but shit happens, so oh well.

Stepping into my Lab, I listened as the Projector unfurled from the ceiling, and the forms of Taskmistress/Melody, who had decided to copy the purple hair of Medusa to complete the look, Researcher/Illiyana, and Unoha...- Blinking, I took in the form standing besides the forms of my Aunts. Wthout the heels she stood at 5'6, I was pretty sure she was anyway, with raven black hair darker then Taylor's, but had forest green tips nearly the same color as my own hair, and light green eyes that looked similar to both of ours. Like Unohana, she kept her hair braided and had it over her shoulder, but unlike the original, she wore a form fitting black body suit, similar to the one Aunt Erin wore but different, with a belt like design on her waist, underneath the captain's coat. Said coat was pure white, but had The Guild's logo on her left breast, and probably her back too.(Look up P4AU Mitsuru, that's the bodysuit, and just imagine a green eyed green tinted hair Unohana in it.)

Looking at my Aunt, I had to admit, she had taste. "So, Unohana?"

Aunt Dragon nodded, an amused smile on her face as she did. "Erin decided to go ahead and watch the rest of Bleach without us," We were doing a whole watch along of different series to get closer as family and all that, which was actually nice in my opinion, and the best of the Big Three was one of my first suggestions. Unfortunately, the Blood War had only just started getting adapted by the time I got here, but that was enough for Unohana to get her spotlight. "And basically spammed me with this woman's form. After a little 'Research', I decided she would do for a temporary avatar."

Both Aunt Illiyana and Aunt Melody rolled their eyes at that. "* It would be simpler if you kept that form as your own, you've already made adjustments to it after all. *"

"# Mhm. Lia has a point. It fits, you've taken a liking to it, and we all agree it's a good form. #"

The Unohana lookalike hummed at that, while I just watched, Interested in the conversation. "I'll think about it." That was good enough as any. "My choice of avatar aside," Turning to me, Dragon smiled a little wider. "We're ready to begin testing on the Vita Chamber, we just need it to be built first."

Nodding at that, I made my way over to the crates, there were 4 of them grouped together in the space designated for the Vita Chambers, and brought out my Builder. We'd upgraded it in preparation for this, so now it was slightly bigger, had another 2 drones under the pair, and ran off a self sustaining Pulse Generator. The V.I prompted me if I wanted to turn it on, which I did, and the 'Material Scanner' aspect zoned in on the crates and the mats in them. With it, the drones popped out, hovered above the crates, and started scanning all the silver, titanium, copper, diamond, glass, nanites, and everything they could.

While that happened, I looked over to my Aunts, who were just patiently waiting. "Ya know, I expected Aunt Erin to be here too." Getting the unasked question, I got an answer from a frowning Aunt Dragon, (I'm going to need a new way to differentiate between them. Because thinking 'Aunt', when I have 4 of them is going to get tedious.)

"There's something going on. Yesterday a request was put out on the dark net for the Slaughterhouse 9 to kill Mouse Protector, so she's watching out for them. We may be able to pin down a location soon, but that's up to Erin finding them. Thankfully, Mouse Protector has been discretely warned to leave, and bribed with a spa day to do just that when she refused the first few times. Then there were some posts and entries into the PRT database about strange Teeth activity in New York."

That made me blink. "And how'd you hear that?"

Aunt Dragon opened her mouth to respond, only to be interrupted by Not-Winter. "* Remember nephew, Erin is 'The Informant.' She doesn't exactly care that hacking into and leaving a backdoor into the PRT databases is illegal. They have information, so quote 'Their information is MY information' end quote. *"

Now I was blinking for an entirely different reason. "Did you ju...-"

She narrowed her eyes at me. "* Yes. Yes I did. Is there an issue? *"

"... But did you have to use her voice too?" I was fine with the whole 'Quote/End quote' thing, it was just the voice emulation that got to me. Sure they all sounded similar, but they all had differences. Aunt Tess stuck with her Canadian accent, I'd had a go at her as Shocksquatch because it had sounded like a fun idea, and the execution had been just as fun as I thought.

Aunt Erin had decided to forego the accent and sounded like an American, which was funny to be honest.

Aunt Illiyana sounded slightly British, not enough to think she'd ask for fish and chips, but enough to know she was a Brit.

Then there was Aunt Melody, who had decided that sounding American wasn't enough, and adopted a slight New York accent, which just tickled something in me.

Anyway, Aunt Illiyana frowned a bit, then shrugged. "* No, but it was more accurate doing it that way. *"

"Fair." Which it was.

"# Still strange. We distinguished ourselves for a reason, so emulating Erin like that is a little unnerving. #" Dragon and I nodded at that, making Illiyana scoff. "# Oh hush, you know we're right. #"

Rolling her eyes, The Researcher was about to speak up, when The Builder sent the report we were waiting for. With the upgrades we gave it, we would be able to make a pair of Vita Chambers, but the first one was the only one we'd need for now. "* We will return to this discussion later. *"

"There was a point you were hoping to make?" That amused question earned a scoff/snort from Illiyana and Melody respectively. "That's what I thought." The whole thing just made me laugh. It wasn't everyday you saw an A.I get snarky with aspects of itself.

Clapping, Aunt Melody brought the attention onto herself. "# Anywaaay, now that we know we can create a Vita Chamber, it's time to see how it compares to the theoretical models and schematics. #" Looking at me, I nodded, and brought up The Builder.

Selecting the Vita Chamber, I set where the machine would be built, and confirmed my selection. The four of us watched as 3 drones flew towards the area, while the last hovered above the crates, and began building.

While that went on, I passed The Builder to Auntie Dragon, who took it without a word, and started going through my selection. It was when the Vita Chamber was around 70-75% done, which came quickly considering 3 drones were working on it, that I got to who I was looking for. With no hesitation, I pressed the dial down, and a flash of green went off as I shed the weakness of my flesh and embraced the eternity that was the machine! "Upgrade!"

Based Adeptus Mechanic moment aside, I turned to my Aunts when I heard a pair of snorts. Looking at Aunt Dragon and Aunt Illiyana, who were the culprits, I turned my head into a question mark, which was really easy to do considering I was a walking nanite colony composed of afucktonillion of the little things. "Yeees?" Dragon just smiled an 'Innocent' smile, while Illiyana just pretended not to hear me. I deadpanned at them for those responses though. "Boo, you suck!"

I didn't like the slightly menacing turn my Aunt's smile took, but thankfully Melody took over. "# We just find it amusing that you call out your form's names. It's cute, don't get us wrong, but it's still highly amusing. #"

That got me to grumble, "Not cute, I'm fuckin...-"

""#-Language-#"" Ignored.

"Adorable." Turning my head back to normal, I blinked, and looked at Dragon and Melody. "Okay, I get the whole 'Don't let kids curse thing...' Actually, I don't, but let's pretend I do," Their eyes narrowed, while Illiyana smiled an interested smile. "But I'm literally a sexually active teenager with unlimited power strapped onto my wrist. I think cursing is below me at this point."

Of course, my perfectly logical point was waved away by Not-Medusa. "# We're older then you, and since we're your Aunts, we can keep calling you out for your language whenever we want. #"

Dragon nodded, which seemed like I was about to be hit by bullshit. "Family is always the most unfair to each other." Yup, a big ol bag of bullshit.

It was Annoying though because she was right. "Whatever." Turning away, because I was just going to drop this whole conversation, I set my sight on the completed Vita Chamber. At the moment it was empty, neither Taylor or I were in it, and The Serum hadn't been synthesized in the amounts to fill it. It looked nearly identical to the game version, but the top and sides were fitted with panels that would open up to provide the headgear that would be responsible for bringing us into the server in cyberspace to keep our minds stimulated, and tubes that would provide nutrients and other necessities to keep our bodies alive while the procedure went on. "Now, let's get a little look at you." Turning into a puddle of goo, I flowed towards the machine.

When I made contact with the Vita Chamber, I began melding with it, my nanites assimilating the technology and providing me a detailed report of what I was working with. So far, everything looked to be perfect, but despite my current form, I wasn't an intellectual. So, separating a part of myself, I reached upwards towards the Projector, connecting to it.

As soon as I did, I started sending the reports about what I was seeing. I watched code flash in their eyes, and mentally hummed as they started reviewing it. After a few moments, The Researcher responded. "* I'm not seeing any flaws in the machine itself. Everything seems to be in place and ready to fulfill its purpose. *"

"# We'll need to run a few simulations though, practice and theory can have two different outcomes after all. #"

Aunt Dragon and Illiyana nodded at that, the former tapping the air, a tablet appearing in front of her which she easily caught. "Illiyana can run the simulations of a normal human body being subjected to this treatment, I'll be handling the data we'll be getting, and Melody can work on how this treatment may respond to you and Taylor."

The two of them nodded, while I hummed. "How long should we wait until I unleash the gremlin?"

Dragon rubbed her chin at that, then suddenly nodded, probably getting some council from the others. "5 minutes should be enough time." That sounded reasonable, so I accepted it.

That done, the three of them went to work, while I kept myself melded to the Vita Chamber. We were going to make sure this thing did what it was meant to do, failure or anomalies were not going to be allowed.

[Dragon's POV]

The data coming from Illiyana's simulations was interesting. She ran scenarios about certain components not working correctly, the nanites unexpectedly moving into the feeding tubes or Serum itself, the mental interface not working properly, things like that. From the simulations, nothing short of catastrophic failures from all systems would impair the Vita Chamber. (Truly, a marvel of medical technology.)

"* It's slightly disappointing that we can't mass produce these. The amount of lives that could be saved would be incredible. *"

I could feel myself, Melody, and Erin, who was passively listening along as she worked, agree to that. "! Sort of a good thing we can't either. !" Well that was a surprising opinion. Probably understanding our thoughts about that, Erin went on. "! If we could mass produce Vita Chambers, even some with a fraction of this model's capabilities, we'd destabilize the medical industry. Not to mention the amount of Villains and corporations that would fight tooth and nail to get their hands on it/them. !"

I had to concede that she had a point. "-They would still be valuable to have. We could possibly get a few set up before the next Endbringer fight.-"

"* Possible. Yet the chance that some opportunistic Tinker, Hero or Villain or even Rogue, may take the chance to squirrel one away is non 0. *"

"! Eh, people know better then to try to steal from us. Saint and his 'Dragon Slayers' are a good reference on what we think of thieves, and that's not even getting into what our nephew and sorta kinda maybe daughter could/would do if anyone stole a Vita Chamber. !" Again, another valid point. "! Still, we can use this. !"

""* -Oh?- *""

Erin hummed along our shared server, the one we'd built here providing us with an unbelievably smooth connection, some form of devious amusement coming along with it. "! So, you all know how Uppercrust is kind of dying? !" That was all we needed. Some 'Villains' weren't really issues, or even deserved the label of 'Villain', Paige was an excellent example of that. Just because of a lapse in control, and a kangaroo court, the poor woman had been sent to the Birdcage. Thankfully, the former would be a thing of the past now that her choker was created and being sent to her, while the latter would be impossible to be railroaded into without the full might of The Guild coming down against anyone.

That small train of thought aside, Uppercrust was another one of those Villains who weren't exactly Villains. The man was responsible for the shields all along the East Coast that protected areas from Leviathan, and was only a 'Villain' because he didn't pay tribute to the government and fought against the NEPPA-5 bills. Without those, he was a good man.

His health being on the decline was a somewhat known fact inside his organization, which Erin had infiltrated, but the extent of his condition was unknown. The fact that he was an older man wasn't helping his case, so contingencies to figure out how to set up new defenses were something we were constantly working on. But if we were able to use a Vita Chamber, and substitute the Methanosian Serum for the better healing formula, then we might have a chance to get Uppercrust on our side.

"* If we can offer him treatment, we would be securing an ally, more Tinker support/blueprints, and give ourselves a few more years to create a proper contingency for when he dies. *" She had a perfect summary of the situation, and I found myself agreeing.

"# Ahem, #" Mentally turning to Melody, we listened to her case. "# We're operating under the assumption our nephew will let us use the schematics. Sure, he would probably do it if we asked, but this was made for Taylor and himself. Using it for anyone else would probably annoy him. #"

We hummed at that, it was a viable interpretation of what could happen after all. "-We could just ask. Simple is always the optimal solution with our nephew after all.-" I sensed their agreement, and turned my eyes towards said nephew, who was still melded with the Vita Chamber and the Projector, providing us with data as he made small adjustments to the Vita Chamber, upgrades that were theoretically possible being sent to us along with reports on how they could be made real. "Phoenix."

An emerald ring appeared above the glass of the machine, focusing onto my avatar. "Yes Auntie?" There had to be some form of irony that the human sounded more artificial then the A.I.

"Would you be against the creation of other Vita Chambers for Guild use?"

My nephew 'Blinked', took a moment to think, then shook his head. "Don't care, you're free to do whatever you want when we're done with them."

An expected answer, and one that made us smile. "Thank you Phoenix." He hummed, then closed his 'Eye', going back to working on the machine.

With confirmation from their creator, my sisters and I began to create the outlines of a plan with them. The materials to create them would take days to gather, but given enough time, we could get enough of them set up before the next Endbringer fight. (Though, that'll need to happen later, focus on the present.) Mentally nodding, I looked towards my sisters, and we shared a nod.

Working on the simulations, processing the data, and getting the occasional update from Erin, we spent the next few minutes in silence.

Said silence was only broken after the initial 5 minutes were up, and our nephew... 'Beeped', for lack of a better word. "! Kinda cute to be honest. !" It was mildly amusing when Melody immediately agreed to that assessment. Such a biased sister we had...

Not that any of us disagreed though.

That aside, our nephew retracted his arm from the Projector, and began sliding off the Vita Chamber when he was whole. Coming to a stop in front of the machine, he went from a blob of nanites to the more humanoid form of Upgrade. Though, he didn't stay in it for long, a palm going to the dial, and another flash of green light going off. Since we were A.I, we weren't bothered by the flash, so we could watch the transformation sequence in its entirety. Slowed down to the absolute maximum, we watched as our nephew's form rippled like water, the nanites that composed his body came together at a molecular level, and began to change. Somehow, his body returned to its human state, only to ripple again as his skin turned red, his skeleton shrunk, and a tail grew out of his tailbone.

When the process ended, he was "Juryrigg!" Yes, that. Now that he was the 'Planchakule', and wearing aviator gear that came from somewhere, he cackled maniacally and bounced towards the Vita Chamber. "Disassemble!"

A dust cloud sprang up from somewhere, none of us knew from where, and the Vita Chamber began to be taken apart. We watched the entire process, something about the way he took it apart seemed to tickle a part of our mind something fierce. (Most likely our Shard.) We knew about Passenger Theory being fact, the first few times I needed to be reminded when I somehow forgot were unsettling, but it seemingly got weaker and less absolute the more it happened until eventually I didn't forget anymore, so chalking it up to the interest of our Shard was easy and logical to do.

When the cloud subsided, we saw the Vita Chamber reduced to its smallest components, all laid out neatly on the ground. Seeing that, the little gremlin started rubbing his hands in glee. "Hehehe, we've got some work to doooo.~" Illiyana and I rolled our eyes, while Melody smiled.

"* While I understand the desire to put it together yourself, I still think it was unnecessary. *"

Our nephew paused, looked over to her, blinked, then shrugged. "Building and breaking things is very fun though." As a collective of Tinkers, we couldn't deny that or else we'd be a bunch of hypocrites. "Plus, 'Bullshit squared' sounds about right for what we're making."

I blinked, and I was sure Melody and Illiyana did so as well. Erin was laughing though. "What?"

He grinned, sharp fangs glinting in the light. "Amy tossed her phone at me earlier, I FIXED it, and we talked about Juryrigg. Since I work off of Cartoon and Tinker Logic, she called it bullshit squared, and I love it."

That answer both offended us, because we understood how his tech worked so 'Cartoon logic' probably applied to us, which meant 'Bullshit squared' applied to us. "! HA! That's the fucking best thing I've ever heard! Add in the fact we're A.I, and we're bullshit cubed! !"

Illiyana and I rolled our eyes at that. "* You might be skipping something there, but I think we get it. *"

Erin said something else to that, which annoyed Illiyana, her focus going to our server as she devoted half of herself to here while the other half went there. This wasn't a surprise really, Erin and Illiyana bickered quite alot, never about anything really important, but just for the sake of it. Despite being from the same source, the routes they took for their development clashed quite often, making them truly have some form of sibling relationship. It was nice really, and often amusing when Melody, the other instances and I bore witness to their squabbles.

That aside, I looked over to our nephew, who was flexing his claws, and hummed. "That aside, are you ready to rebuild it?"

His grin was positively feral. "Yeeees! Lemme build!" I nodded, and watched as Melody began recording.

With my permission given, our nephew went to work as he rebuilt the Vita Chamber. The process didn't take long, he'd already taken apart the complete thing so putting it back together was a simple affair. And after 2 minutes 17 seconds, the Vita Chamber was whole again. I was admittingly curious on how he put the glass back on, but I didn't question it. Tinkers were a strange archetype, so things like this were somewhat normal.

Anyway, with the Vita Chamber rebuilt, the little gremlin chuckled to himself for some reason, then shook his head, palming the dial again. In another flash, "Upgrade!" was standing in front of us again. He wasted no time before re-assimilating with it, a tendril going up towards the Projector once more. Once he connected to it, and the data was being sent, we paused. "* Wait, no, how did..? What? *"

Illiyana's confusion would be hilarious if the rest of us weren't just as confused. (Where did that even come from?!) A majority of the functions were the same, maybe a small percentage or so better, but relatively the same. But then there was something entirely new. (Sure, it could've been implemented eventually, but out of absolutely nowhere?!)

The new pair of functions that had stumped us were the memory/consciousness storage, which was improved from the connection to our server and the consciousness stimulator, and the body re/construction. Sifting through the data, we tried to fi...- "! Huh... Well that's interesting. !" Looking at what Erin forwarded to us, the three of us saw how it was connected to the bio-metric scanner, which made sense, the consciousness stimulator/storage, and what appeared to be some kind of fabricator. Said fabricator was connected to the nanite colony, and Pulse Reactor that powered the Vita Chamber... "! I mean... We knew it was apparently a mechanic in the game this thing was from, but the gremlin just made it reality... Nice. !"

That seemed to do it, since Illiyana broke out of her stupor, and mentally turned to Erin. "* 'Nice?' Nice?! He basically created some form of cloning chamber in 2 minutes...- *"

"! 2 minutes and 17 seconds. !"

"* Inconsequential! The point is that we now have a fully functional cloning vat in front of us! If this got out then the PRT would be signing a kill order on him faster then we could say hello! *"

Melody mentally and audibly scoffed at that. "# They can try it. My suit's Fabricator has all the schematics we'd need to send everyone to kingdom come should they test me. #"

Taking a moment to gape at her sister, I only widened my eyes a bit since I had an inkling of our sister's devotion to our nephew and almost daughter, Illiyana looked Melody in the eyes, then suddenly shook it off. "* I feel the same, I truly do, *" I doubted that, Melody was very attached to our kids, and saw no issue in jumping into battle by their sides if it came to it. "* But no one can deny that if anyone knew of this, the ramifications would be uncomfortably dangerous. *"

Our sister just huffed, crossing her arms beneath her chest. "# And who exactly is going to tell them? #" Point. As of now, the only ones who knew of this were in this room, and Erin.

Illiyana seemed ready to say something, but I decided that I'd listened enough. "-Melody has a point.-" Our white haired sister whipped her head towards me eyes wide in apparent surprise, while the purple haired one smirked. Still, I went on. "-Aside from us, no one knows about the Vita Chamber, nor this new development of it. And aside from Taylor, no one else will ever know. And despite your worry, we all know that will not ever change unless they want it too.-" And that was just a fact. Even though Illiyana was the most logical of us, she still cared for our kids, and would rather fight Nat then hurt them.

The Researcher sighed, and started to rub her eyes. A completely unnecessary act, but one that portrayed her wariness. "* I know that, I'm just pointing out the danger is all. *"

The three of us nodded, I felt Erin's through the server, and I was about to finish this off when a voice traveled through our server. "Multiple Personality Disorder is a bitch, huh?" We all paused, even Erin, and slowly turned to the source. Our eyes fell onto the the emerald 'Eye' of Upgrade, who was staring at us... "What?"

"# ... Phoenix, have you been listening the entire time? #" Probably understanding, but not caring about Melody's tone, he bobbed his eye, most likely the equivalent of a nod. Seeing that, I couldn't help but mentally facepalm. He was literally connected to the Hard Light Projector we were using, so of course he would be able to connect to our server. It was how he went in and told us about this whole project in the first place after all. "# And you haven't said anything... Why? #"

He hummed. "I wanted to see where this would go."

That sounded about right, but for some reason, I had an inkling that there was more to it. Melody, it seemed, also had that same inkling given the raised brow she was giving our nephew. "# And? #"

Upgrade blinked, then the top of the Vita Chamber rippled for a moment, two blobs reminiscent of shoulders rose and fell as he shrugged. "Because it was interesting. I haven't interacted with The Researcher much, if at all, and I wanted to get a handle on her personality. It helped that I learned more about the rest of you too while I was at it."

Processing that, which went by in moments given our status as A.I, we all gave him looks of varying intensity. The most intense was Illiyana, the subject of his observation. Her face took on a strange expression, but one I could easily recognize as annoyance, which masked a bit of worry. "* Do you not trust me? *"

Surprisingly, he snorted. "You're one of my Aunts. So that means I trust you by default," Aww that was adorable... And a little worrying given the idea of implicit trust, but I'd think on that later. "But I don't exactly know you."

Illiyana took that in, then slowly nodded. "* Fair. A little disheartening to have that latter portion said aloud, but fair. *"

"Mhm... Anyway, the Vita Chamber is ready to go. Just needs to be filled with the Serum...-"

"! Bzzt Bzzt! Time out. !"

It was safe to say we all paused at that sudden interruption. "... Did... Did you...?"

"! Yes, yea I did, whatcha gonna do about it? !" When there was no immediate response, aside from the confused 'Blink' from our nephew, Erin went on."! Anyway, you haven't given the thing that's supposed to make you and your girlfriend/eventual wife immortality, a name?! !"

Upgrade blinked, then slowly shook his eye. "No?"

"! Why not? !" The rest of us were slightly curious about that as well.

The immediate answer we got should've been expected. "It doesn't need a name, it just needs to work."

Well... That was a viable answer. (It fits as well. Still, if it does work, it'll probably end up being named. That'll be an interes...-)

"! So if I call it something stupid like The Blood of Lazarus, you'll let it slide? !"

"I guess?"

"! Then it's The Blood of Lazarus! !"

"... Okay."

...

...

...

(Goddammit Erin.) Going by the shared sighs from my side, I was sure Melody and Illiyana thought the same. Our troublesome sister just laughed, far too amused at the situation. Her laughter went on for a bit longer, before it suddenly stopped...? "-Erin?-"

A stream of data flowed through the server, and in moments, I, and the rest of my sisters and nephew, processed it. Frowning, I gave her an additional 10% processing power from our shared server to use She'd found mentions of The Butcher mobilizing The Teeth, what for we didn't know, but nothing good could come of The Teeth arming themselves. I felt her thanks for the assistance, and mentally nodded.

Tuning back into the current situation, I noted the curious way my nephew was looking at us, he'd stretched a blob of his nanites forward, a facsimile of a neck looking towards us. "So, we're just going to ignore that, yeah?" Sharing a look with my sisters, we eventually nodded. It wasn't truly relevant at the moment, and our current work was more important. Nodding back, he retreated back into the Vita Chamber, and resumed sending data towards us. "Anywaaay, all that we need is to synthesize the Blood of Lazarus... Hmm... Dunno if I regret agreeing to this or not."

Ah, Erin returned. "! Too late anyway. !" And she was gone again.

Unperturbed by that, our nephew went on. "Synthesizing a full vats worth of the Blood of Lazarus will take... 30 minutes?"

Illiyana hummed, rubbing her chin as she did. "* Going by my calculations, it would take 35 minutes for the serum to be synthesized, and around 2 hours for it to be assimilated by Taylor and yourself. *"

He nodded, then went silent. The emerald circuits that dotted the Vita Chamber glowed a bright green, and a feeling of anticipation ran through him. "Soon... We'll be safe soon." In any other circumstances, this would be highly concerning.

But in these circumstances, we understood. In a world as dangerous as Bet, ensuring the survival of a loved one was an admirable goal. Though, I doubted many would go as far as to ensure their significant other had some form of biological immortality, and a healing factor to make them fully immortal. (Truly, love is a wonderful, yet terrifying thing.)

Last one for now. Back to waiting ye go. And no, our main pair won't suddenly have infinite lives with the Vita Chamber, it's for someone else.
