Fay, caught between fear from the intimidating presence of the intruders, and envy at how free Reign was with Ace, hid behind the menu, as a form of protection.

"Did you really?" He raised a brow, his face squeezed in a frown.

Xander King, the man popularly known as just Mr King, grinned. "Won't you ask us to sit? Where is the hospitable spirit the Atticus are known for? You know your grandmother would be livid if she heard of this," he said in a singsong voice.

"You're interrupting dinner with my wife. Why would I be cordial with you?" He asked, arrogantly looking down at him.

Mr King chuckled as he dragged his eyes to Fay. "Her? She's a pretty little thing. A little too dainty for our taste, you'd agree?"
