SWEET DREAMS

She sniffled as they pulled away.

"Hey, you're still crying?" He wiped off her tears with his hands. "Is it something I said?" His hand lifted her chin, as he gazed directly into her eyes.

"No, it's nothing," she shook her head, withdrawing her face from his hold. "I was just a little overwhelmed by the emotions." She lied through her teeth.

How could she tell him she felt a certain way about his closeness with Reign? They had known each other even before she existed in his life. It would be ridiculous of her to try and come in-between a relationship that had a solid foundation.

"You're sure?" He asked, with an intense gaze.

He had such beautiful eyes. So beautiful, one could easily get lost in his stare.
