COLD CONFRONTATION

The journalists scampered all over for safety, some falling to the ground, and quickly getting up, just to flee.

Landon looked into his best friend's eyes as he sped forward, and knew there was no stopping him.

His butt clenched into the seat, as he held his breath, and shut his eyes.

Ace eyes were stuck on the road, closer, and closer, he inched towards the hospital gate.

He felt the fears of the people around, as they screamed and jumped to safety. He was going to be making the evening, next morning, and in fact, the headlines for the rest of the month, but he could care less.

As he approached the gate, he could hear an announcement being made, for everyone around to vacate the premises of the hospital area, especially the parking lot.

His lip curved into a humorless smile, as he turned the steering to the right, and drove through the gate.
