The car stopped in front of the Atticus mansion, and Alexander turned to Fay.
"How did you know I was coming here?" She asked, turning to him at the same time.
"You mentioned the Atticus mansion earlier, so I just figured," he replied.
"Oh. Anyway, thanks for driving me here. I guess I'll just call the gate guy to open the gate."
Alexander held her hand, before she could make a move to open the door.
"Let me see that," he said, as she relaxed into her seat again.
She took a deep breath, before stretching out her hand to him.
"Your skin is so sensitive. You'd need ice on it, and an ointment. It should take off any pressure. Does it still hurt?
She shook her head, but kept her gaze on him.
"Alright then," he let go, but kept his gaze on her. "And thank you too."
"For what?" Her eyes squinted.
"For letting me kiss you."
