Fay was awoken by the sound of her buzzing phone.
With a groan of protest, she rolled to the other side of the bed, and stretched out her hand to the bedside table to stop whatever was making the phone buzz.
Her fingers slipped, and she ended up answering the call.
"Shit!" She cursed in her mind.
She was going to pretend not to hear whoever was at the other end of the line, and just end the call anyway, when the loud, annoyed voice of Seth Luxe, sent her flying into a sitting position.
"Good morning grandpa," she said, wiping the remaining sleepiness off her eyes.
"Fay, there's absolutely nothing good about this morning. I did as you asked, and went to the beach house. But I couldn't rest because I don't know what is happening with you. Where are you, Fay?"
She bit her lips, as she cracked her brain in search of a quality excuse.
"Grandpa, I told you I just needed to get away a little bit with Dream," she replied.
