Atlas looked at the soldiers and answered the question, ''I'm meant to be guarding a bridge alongside other adventurers.''
The man nodded with a knowing smile as he revealed some good news, ''I know the quest. Thanks to the guild manager, it was pushed back until midday tomorrow due to half the adventurers signing up to try out the new dungeon you discovered.''
After that, Atlas left the dungeon behind, wanting to find food and rest until the quest started tomorrow. He exited the cave, which led onto a mountainside overlooking a massive lake below.
'This world is beautiful,' he mused with a smile as he admired the landscape.
The mountains stretched out as far as the eyes could see, and the natural smell of earth and water reached his nose. Atlas noticed the forest that encircled the lake and continued through a pass to the north.
