Omniscience in Marvel 84

Title - Timeskips

David was a good kid, even after gaining everything he could gain as a Human protagonist who started from the bottom, he never forgot my existence.

I did not mean forgetting in the sense of nature, but forgetting, in attributing the majority of his success to me. I did indeed have a hand or two in making his life what it is, but…

The very thought of building a house for me was all that counted, and for that, I promised him to keep his family on the throne till the end of days. Baseless promise…Yes, but with the thought in place, I could make it a reality.

The boy…that was now a man, didn't live a life of holiness. No. Far from that. He was lustful enough to desire his commander's woman, got her pregnant and had him killed.

It was a disappointing and shameful act considering our relationship, and for behaving so…Paganly, I had him punished with a minor curse. Nothing too deadly but enough to harm him honour for generations to come.

Having his son rape his daughter and her sister, then having him killed by his brother Absalom. Having his first son, Absalom sleep with his wife in the presence of all of Judah and finally, having the very same son plot his death while dying in the process was already enough to do that.

With David's death, the next person I had a very close relationship with took the throne. I already promised to make him King and that's what I did. Solomon was a very pure, naive and focused young man.

Out of courtesy to David, I asked him what he'd like me to give him. It was basically a meeting gift sort of thing, but what he asked for was interesting.

Wisdom.

That's what he asked for. The wisdom to better rule over my people. That's how he put it. I was caught in a bind concerning that request while also being impressed.

The fact that he didn't ask for some divine power or riches was already a plus in my book, but personally choosing to ask for Wisdom…

"Aspect, How's that skill [Wisdom King] coming along?" Perhaps with that skill, Solomon could have what he wants and more. If it was Intelligence he asked for, then it could've been easily settled.

However, he asked for Wisdom. This wasn't something I could give, however, bequeathing him with Knowledge of All Things would be a start.

"The Skill Blue print was created for Humans at the Peak of Intelligence. Although he boasts an impressive mental acuity, I'm afraid it would be harmful to the young prince." Aspect Headlight body said as he pulled up the Ultimate Skill Codes.

"Hmm…downgrade it to something like Great Sage or Sage." I said as I glanced through the Codes. It was impossible for a human to actually possess any of these skills as they were created for his Angels.

The human and Angel physiology were drastically different.

"That could be done." Aspect replied as the screen glitched for a split second before normalising to show a less complicated set of codes.

"Hmmm. That's better. Customize it to be upgradable by the young king whenever he reaches a certain level of power." I said with a smile.

"But sir, that will indicate to all Astral beings that he's your chosen champion on Earth." Aspect said and pulled up an image on the screen. "Also, this could alter the young prince into a being of Magic."

"I am aware…" I said and turned my chair. "I want to see how he'll use the knowledge of all things as well as the energy to rule my people."

And that was how Solomon became the wisest king to have ruled Israel…That's how the world will see him, but the mystical world would think different.

To the Mystical World, he was a fearsome warrior who went to hell and back to make sure that Israel remained free from the influence of demonic forces.

At one point, he was even appointed to become the Sorcerer supreme, but rejected since, according to him, "I am affiliated to my people First and then the Earth."

The role of Sorcerer Supreme was to protect the Earth from all external influences seeking to cause it harm, and as such, he would be forced to neglect his role as Prince of God's people.

This didn't prevent his fame from still spreading far and wide. Women from all walks of Earth came to be a part of his household and he didn't turn them down.

It was an achievement in and of itself to be a king in this time and age and not embark on at least one or two campaigns. For as long as he ruled, Israel and its neighboring countries knew nothing but peace and prosperity.

However, the funny part of all these was that, other than the time he summoned a pillar of fire from Heaven during his consecration of the Temple he'd built for me, he never used his magic for mundane things.

When it came to governing Israel, it was all his intelligence without anything magical involved. From the governing of his Kingdom to architectural innovations.

Contrary to beliefs that ancient times weren't organized, I dare say that Israel alongside Nations like Babylon and others directly associated with their Gods, looked more modern than…most modern cities in the Future I am aware of.

Following his death, Jeroboam, one of his sons, took up the position. I wasn't entirely concerned with these descendants of David as they were less remarkable in my sight.

This King's only remarkable Feat is noted for leading the secession of the ten tribes from Solomon's son Rehoboam, establishing the divided kingdom.

His most notorious act was setting up golden calves at Bethel and Dan to prevent his people from worshiping in Jerusalem, leading Israel into idolatry.

I wasn't bothered by this however, it was Normal for Kings to harbor a bit of fear when it came to the safety of their people. Rehoboam was a bad Ruler and I had to appoint another random person with a protagonist template to become Ruler

However, remembering my promise to David, I made sure Rehoboam kept two regions which were proportionally bigger than most other regions.

However, Jeroboam allowed fear to lead him into committing an atrocious act in my sight. To have the audacity to craft statues of Demons…

Nadab was the next king following Jeroboam's death, Nadab, Jeroboam's son, continued his father's practices of idolatry. His reign was short-lived, as he was assassinated by Baasha during a military campaign.

His contemporary was Abijah, Rehoboam's son who fought against Jeroboam I, and attempted to reunite the kingdom. However, how could humans go against my Will?

They weren't powerful enough.

Baasha, who killed Nadab and usurped the throne, exterminated Jeroboam's entire family, fulfilling the prophecy against Jeroboam's house. He also continued the idolatrous practices and led Israel into further sin.

His Contemporary in Judah was Asa, Abijah's son. He Reformed Judah, destroying idols and reconsecrating the Temple in Jerusalem.

It was an interesting arc to watch. To have a front row seat to the manhwa-like politics play out in the royal family. Some might think it was all sunshine and rainbows in this time period but Boy! Are they wrong?

Anyways, following Baasha's death, Elah, his son ruled ineffectively and was was assassinated by his servant Zimri while drunk, and while this was going on, his contemporary in Judah, Asa continued his reforms and strengthened Judah's defenses remarkably.

Asa's rule on Israel was probably what led Zimri into assassinating Elan. I didn't know what he had in mind constantly that they should know that my anointed shouldn't be messed with.

Welps, Zimri's most notable act was the assassination of King Elah since his reign lasted only seven days, as he committed suicide by setting his palace on fire when Omri besieged Tirzah.

I swear I had nothing to do with it. I'm a kind and honourable God…just so you know.

Omri, upon taking the throne reconstructed military and established Samaria as the capital of the northern kingdom of Israel. However, he continued to promote idolatry, and his actions were considered evil in my eyes.

While all these was going on, Asa Continued to maintain Judah's spiritual integrity as best as he could. It didn't work entirely, but it was the thought that counted.

Omri ruled for a good while before dying and passing his throne to his son Ahab. He is and will remain one of the most infamous kings of Israel due to his marriage to Jezebel and the subsequent promotion of Baal worship.

Luckily for me, it was during his reign I came upon an interesting man. Elijah was his name. One of the most impressive men I've ever had the opportunity to be in contact with.

However, that was a story of another time. The only thing remarkable I should say was that while Solomon had the help of a Unique Skill to become powerful, Elijah was just fnat powerful.

It was a funny thing. If this was a cultivation world, Elijah would probably be someone with a Divine Physique considering his ability to tap into Heaven's energy at will.

Anyways, his contemporary was Jehoshaphat, son of Asa. He formed an alliance with Ahab, but maintained religious reforms in Judah. It was amusing how he thought that would make their two country look strong to an outsider's perception.

Ahab's daughter, Athaliah, married Jehoshaphat's son, Jehoram. Despite Ahab's reputation for idolatry and evil, Jehoshaphat maintained a strong commitment to the worship of me as his God.

This wasn't alright, but I didn't have to interfere for any slight action I find unpleasant. There should be free to do whatever they wished.

At least, they didn't act an entire Manhwa flashback on how one party didn't want to marry and ran away only to return with an illegitimate child.

Although it was a pity it didn't happen, it was also good. Wouldn't want to have too much manhwa content in my head.

Following this, Ahab invited Jehoshaphat to join him in a military campaign to reclaim the city of Ramoth-Gilead from the Arameans. Jehoshaphat agreed but insisted they first seek the my guidance.

Ahab, so full of it, gathered around 400 of his prophets, who unanimously predicted success. The sight of them prostrating and flattering Ahab was so stomach turning that I almost puked.

I know what you're wondering. Can God puke? The answer was obvious…Yes.

Where do you think this naturally occurring acid rains come from..?

.

.

.

.

Hah. I'm just messing with y'all.

Anyways, Jehoshaphat was skeptical and asked if there was another prophet of the communing with me so they could consult.

Now prophet and prophecy was a sneaky subject I didn't like to talk about since it was majorly pantheonic secret. Anyways, a prophet was basically someone who could hear my voice.

Hearing my voice normally was already something of renown amongst Humans, but they dont know. Meh, they won't know the importance until the End of Days…

…You must be wondering what I mean by End of Days… heh, it's a secret.

Anyways, Ahab reluctantly summoned Micaiah, a true prophet whom Ahab disliked because he always prophesied negatively about him. Initially, Micaiah sarcastically mimicked the other prophets which was amusing, but under pressure, I had no option but to show him a symbolic potential future of Israel should they embark on tbag campaign.

Upon witnessing this, Micah simply said that the Israelites would be scattered like sheep without a shepherd, indicating Ahab's impending doom.

He also added by saying that a lying spirit sent by God came to deceive Ahab's prophets, ensuring Ahab's downfall.

"Motherfucker!" Was what I shouted in my fit of disbelief. The gall to lie so…confidently. "When did I ever send a lying spirit to Ahab?"

"Sir, I believe Lucifer might have a hand in this…" Aspect calmly reasoned forcing me to calm down. What the actual fuck. All these prophets and their ability to see past what they're initially meant to see. "Tsk."

Following the prophecy, despite Micaiah's warning, Ahab and Jehoshaphat proceeded with the battle. Ahab, hoping to avoid the prophecy, disguised himself while Jehoshaphat wore his royal robes.

The Aramean soldiers initially targeted Jehoshaphat, thinking he was Ahab, but when they realized their mistake, they turned away. The sight was amusing since it seemed like Ahab was manipulating the King of Judah.

Ahab's disguise however, did not save him. A random arrow still struck him between the sections of his armor, and he was mortally wounded. He was propped up in his chariot facing the Arameans until evening when he died, and his blood ran onto the floor of the chariot.

His body was brought back to Samaria, and he was buried there. Jehoshaphat returned to Judah, and despite his alliance with Ahab, he continued his reforms and led Judah in the ways of the covenant.

The alliance had mixed consequences, as it brought temporary military cooperation but also led to idolatrous influences in Judah, especially during the reign of Jehoram and Athaliah.

Ahaziah, Ahab's son, swiftly took the throne after new of his fathers death reached the palace. He however, followed in his parents' footsteps of idolatry.

His reign was marked by a failed alliance with Jehoshaphat of Judah and his ill-fated attempt to seek guidance from the god Baal-Zebub, which led to his demise.

The sight was one to behold. The thought that worshipping a Demon in my Domain would yield results…I didn't know whether to actually laugh or cry at the sight.

Not to mention messing with me, Baal-Zebub wouldn't even dare messing with Lucifer.

Of all the Inhabitants of Hell or the Underworld, only Lucifer and the demons under him had the right to intrude into my territory. If you're still confused as to why, then…

As his men were leaving to get an audience with Baal from a neighbouring kingdom, I asked Elijah to intercept them and tell them to return and tell Ahaziah that for that action, he would surely die.

To think that…huuuu. Deep breaths.

Anyways, Jehoram was Ahaziah's contemporary in Judah. Since he married Athaliah, Ahab's daughter, it was quite easy to expose to idolatry in Judah.

Back in Israel, Jehoram, Ahaziah's brother took over and reigned for twelve years and continued the idolatrous practices. His reign saw various military conflicts and the notable rebellion of Moab.

His fate was sealed by the prophet Elisha's prophecies and Jehu's subsequent uprising.

As for his Contemporary in Judah, also named Jehoram…well, women aee dangerous creatures. That's all I can say.

As for Elijah, kekekeke. There was no way I was allowing him to die. The man was such a fine specimen very much attuned to the spiritual. I only wondered what would happen if his body also caught up with the attunement.

Don't ask why I didn't preserve a certain King.

Well, as a human, he was already in direct contact with things of the Divine…

"{That's a flimsy excuse.}"

"You think?"

Following Jehu's violent purge of Ahab's dynasty and the eradication of Baal worship from Israel. He executed Jezebel, Ahab's seventy sons, and all the prophets of Baal, bringing about a fulfilment of my Will through Elijah's prophecy.

However, he did not turn away from the sins of Jeroboam, keeping the golden calves at Bethel and Dan.

This led me to wonder…Did human have a certain kink for these Man-made structures..?

"{I believe it's due to a lack of intelligence.}"

"If that was said to make me feel better…then you only made me feel worse."

On another interesting turn of event, a thrilling Manhwa-like, Female MC protagonist style arc took place in Judah. Athaliah usurped the throne of Judah, promoting Baal worship, until overthrown by Jehoiada a priest.

"{Sir…?"

"What?"

"{Your project. It's complete.}"

"Oh?"

A/N- I'm pretty sure you all, at least once or twice have wondered how interesting some of all these biblical stories are.

Imagine someone actually Reincarnating in one of those days?

But Nah. No one's man enough to write it. Instead, they can comfortably write about a random person Reincarnating in other mythologies.

In truth, as I was writing this chapter, I thought it was interesting to actually write about Reincarnating as Solomon.

The fantasy references of Solomon always portrayed as having captured the 72 pillars of hell and trapping them in a book. Artifacts of Solomon and many more.

I just thought that it must be the case for even the biblical Solomon, after all, he did summon fire from Heaven. And although it was attributed as Divine Intervention from God, it could also be imagined any how you wish.

Anyways, this is already the middle of the month and I'm still short of my new phone money. Don't turn a blind eye to me and also endeavour to write me up on the comment section on how you feel certain biblical tales should be interpreted from our Shared Otaku mentality.

Also, My b'day is coming up on the 5th of September. So show some love.
