Omniscience in Marvel 170

Before the Emergence, humans were able to tap into a fraction of their full potential—specifically, 10% of their total ability.

This fraction of their total power was similar to the initial experimental results seen with Peggy Carter.

When Peggy underwent the process, she gained 10% of her total potential, which made her an immensely powerful human.

Even at this fraction of her abilities, she reached the same level as super-soldiers like Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes, who were both enhanced by the Super Soldier Serum.

This is because, at the time, humans' potential was not fully realized due to the limitations of their biology and technology.

However, by tapping into just 10% of their total capability, they could exhibit extraordinary physical strength, speed, and resilience, which were on par with the enhancements from the Super Soldier Serum.

The 10% power boost didn't mean they were at the peak of what they could achieve, but it was enough to elevate them to a level comparable to some of the most powerful humans on Earth at the time.

Essentially, the 10% of ability unlocked in humans represented only a small portion of what they could potentially achieve, yet that small fraction was already formidable.

If a human were to gain access to their full potential (100%), their abilities would far surpass even that of super-soldiers, making them truly extraordinary beings on par with the Eternals.

The last Humans to have ever been at 100% of his potential was…Adam and Eve.

(A/N: I'm going to go down memory lane a bit.)

In his earlier days in Gaia's dimension, having gotten a certain mastery over Dimensional Creation, Leucadius had created a lab Eden.

In his quest to create something truly unique to him and Gaia, had asked for her permission to make man in their image and likeness.

Being created in the image and likeness of Leucadius and Gaia meant that humanity would share certain attributes with them—like intellect, emotion, morality, creativity, and free will.

This doesn't mean humans just physically resemble them, but rather that their nature reflects some of their qualities.

So while Adam inherited his Logic and Intelligence he also inherited his genes, making him physically stronger than any human in his time. He was strong enough to even rival Ikaris who was the second strongest Eternal after Gilgamesh.

Eve on the other hand, inherited the Moral, Emotional and Creative energy that Gaia embodied.

It wasn't that Gaia wasn't logical or intelligent, or Leucadius Morally upright, emotional or creative.

It was just the dominant genes being passed down from their parent donors.

Individually, they were imperfect. Loathe as Leucadius hated to admit it, it was so.

This was why, despite haven had an idea of what would happen, Leucadius chose not to interfere in Eve's choice of eating of the Fruit of Knowledge.

And as all mythical fruits, the effects it had on them was astonishing. They gained Awareness. It was one thing to be knowledgeable and then it was another to be Aware.

Knowledge tends to be more in-depth and often requires learning and understanding, while awareness is more about immediate recognition or noticing.

Knowledge is often factual, specific, and learned, while awareness is more about perception and being conscious of what is happening around or within you.

Gaining knowledge often requires a conscious effort, while awareness can arise naturally or spontaneously in response to the environment or circumstances.

And when they gained Knowledge of Good and Evil, they gained Awareness together with it.

Eve who had already inherited Moral, Emotional and Creative energy from Gaia had an upgrade in that aspect, while Adam who had Logic and Intelligence gained Wisdom; The ability to apply Knowledge.

And that was when they knew they were naked.

Way back then, Leucadius had the time of his life laughing at their reactions. It was to die for.

He didn't see the need to cloth them as they were, 'cause depending on how they use their energy, conjuring clothes was only a thought away, but Fear impeded their ability to reason properly.

It was one thing to be afraid, and it was another to Know that you are afraid.

Once you've accepted your fear, you tend to confront it, but when you don't accept it, you keep running from it. And that was the case in the case of Adam and Eve

While they felt fear, they failed to recognise that emotion and hid. An action that was futile in Eden.

(A/N: That's it for the history lesson.)

One need not forget that at the time, the earth was barely recovering from the aftermath of the Clash between the Human/Atlanteans and the Celestial so they both had the Earth for the taking…

The Earth, still scarred from the celestial clash, was at a turning point.

Humanity, though deeply flawed, had an incredible potential to ascend far beyond their current state, but only if they could overcome the fear and limitations holding them back.

Leucadius watched from his cosmic vantage point, knowing that the seeds of what could become a truly advanced species were already planted, but they needed the right nurturing.

As he considered the future of humanity, Leucadius reflected on the choices he made with Adam and Eve. Their awareness was both a blessing and a curse.

They had unlocked a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them, but they had also awakened an existential fear—one that would shape the course of human history.

This fear would drive them to build, to innovate, and to seek, but it would also create divisions, conflicts, and struggles for control. It was a paradox that Leucadius had long pondered.

His thoughts drifted to the present and the work that lay before him. The Emergence was approaching, and with it, the opportunity to reshape reality itself.

The digital universe of Yggdrasil, a world that Leucadius had crafted from the raw material of pure digital energy, was his next great experiment.

Yggdrasil was more than just a realm; it was a way to bridge the gap between human limitations and the boundless potential they could one day reach.

Leucadius had chosen Phastos to help him in this endeavor, seeing in the Eternal a kindred spirit—someone who could understand the delicate balance between creation and destruction, innovation and consequence.

The transformation Phastos had undergone after Hiroshima, seeing the destruction his technology had wrought, made him an ideal candidate to help manage Yggdrasil.

No longer the inventor of weapons, Phastos had become the administrator of this new, virtual frontier, where humanity could grow, experiment, and evolve without the dangers of direct confrontation with the physical world.

As Leucadius walked out of the room where Phastos was overseeing the development of the Yggdrasil realm, he was greeted by a somber yet focused intrusion into his Mind-scape.

"Darling?" Leucadius called out curiously.

[Husband, how long do you plan to keep me in the dark?]

"W…ut?" Leucadius dragged his word as he tried to come up with an explanation.

[You're planning on leaving you wife and son here while returning to Heaven?]

"Come now, T. You know my staying here is more detrimental than-"

[I don't care about that. I'm asking…why and for how long did you plan on keeping me in the dark?]

"Uh…just until Aethon returns to park up."

[You'd probably be long gone by then.] Thena said and from their telepathic link, Leucadius could feel her anger oozing through. [And you even had him choose the academy without my input.]

"Didn't we already agree to let him choose?"

[I would've given him another option.]

"What option? Have you and the others teach him?" Leucadius asked but scoffed. "None of your siblings is capable of Manipulating any one of the Six Forces he would inherit…Well Sersi could teach him a thing or two, but that's about that."

[...]

"..."

[How's Phastos?]

"He's coping well enough."

[And your project?]

"Coming along nicely."

[Really? How's the research progressing on logging humans into the digital space? Have you both made any breakthroughs since Peggy's initial experiment?]

"We've made significant progress," Leucadius said thoughtfully. "Peggy's trial was a success, but we knew that the process needed refining. It's one thing to connect someone's mind to the virtual space, but it's another to ensure they can fully integrate and grow within it without losing themselves. We've made modifications to the procedure, and now humans can log into the system, but they only access about 10% of their potential—just like Peggy did."

[And that's enough to elevate them to the level of super-soldiers, correct?]

"Exactly," Leucadius confirmed, nodding. "Even at just 10%, a human can rival someone like Steve Rogers or Bucky Barnes in terms of physical strength, speed, and resilience. It's an impressive feat, but it's only the beginning. The real question is what happens when they push beyond that. What will the limits of their abilities be once they tap into the full potential?"

Leucadius's mind raced with possibilities as he recounted everything to his woman. "That's where the true power lies," he mused. "When humans can access their full potential, they will not only surpass the super-soldiers but approach a level of capability comparable to the Eternals. And when that happens, we will see the dawn of a new era—not just for humanity, but for the entire universe."

Thena's mental link vibrated in a way that made Leucadius understand that she was processing Leucadius's words. [But they won't be able to reach that level without the proper environment to nurture their growth.]

"The digital realm of Yggdrasil was designed with that in mind. We're not just giving them power—we're giving them a place to learn, evolve, and push their limits. The process will be slow, but the results will be extraordinary." Leucadius pointed out and smiled faintly but proud. "That's exactly why I created Yggdrasil. It's not just a playground for human experimentation, it's a tool for their ascension. A way for them to access what they could never achieve in their current form."

[And once they unlock their full potential, what will we do with them? The Emergence is coming, and the world will change. Will we be ready to handle that change?]

Leucadius chuckled and tapped the void in front of him causing a Portal to open. At the other side was Thena who was visibly worried. "We will be ready," Leucadius said softly. "But the question isn't just whether we are ready. It's whether humanity is ready to accept the responsibility that comes with such power."

Thena faced him, her expression serious. "That's a question for the ages, husband."

Stepping through the portal, he arrived at his mansion and pulled Thena into his arms. "We've seen humanity when they were at their peak, their best, their weakest and their worst. I'm sure they will overcome this."

"Heh. You and that confidence of yours." Thena chuckled and hugged him tighter. "What's the worst that could happen, right?"

"Aww, c'mon. You just had to jinx it!"

"Hehe, but it won't be a problem right?"

"The fact that you even thought to ask is disappointing in and of itself. I am the Al- No. I am the Most High."
