Chapter 90.1 : Don't underestimate Fairy Tail!!

*CRACK*

The Adamantine Armor that Erza was wearing shattered completely.

"Ha-ha-ha! Show some courage!"

The heroic knight laughed as he charged towards Erza.

Everit was feeling frustrated. His magic required time to infect an enemy, but this guy in front of him only took three seconds to self-destruct.

Of all those present, Everit felt completely powerless against this self-destruction magic. This was the only guy who was apparently immune to Everit's magic, which made him even more difficult to deal with.

Besides self-destruction, what other magic did this opponent have?

*BOOM*

Another explosion.

Erza tried to resist the blast with her Flame Empress Armor, but it was far weaker than her Adamantine Armor.

The explosion sent Erza flying.

"Ha-ha-ha!"

The heroic knight emerged from the smoke, laughing heartily.

"Erza, run!" Everit shouted.

Without hesitation, Erza turned and bolted.

"Stop right there!" The heroic knight was hot on her heels.

More than three seconds! It clicked for Everit; the knight was infected with his magic, but he realized something critical.

"Wait!"

"It turns out they're all liars!"

The Humble Knight was proud—he ordered everything.

The Knight of Truth was a pathological liar.

The Spiritual knight was singularly obsessed.

The Knight of Honour was anything but honorable, and the Knight of Justice judges others guilty without giving reasons.

The Knight of Sacrifice sacrificed others, not himself.

And the Heroic Knight? He was a tricky manipulator!

"Erza!"

Everit called out, "The other side has teleportation magic!"

That's right, the "Heroic Knight" wasn't using resurrection magic; he was using teleportation magic.

After Everit had engaged with the entity, he realized that it wasn't a living being at all—it was just a construct of flesh and blood.

No living thing could lack emotion entirely. Everit couldn't detect any source of emotions from this entity.

There was only one explanation he could think of: it was a puppet, an artificial clone with no soul.

So, if what explodes every time is a clone, how were these clones being created?

If they weren't coming from nearby, they must have been teleported in.

Therefore, the "Heroic Knight" wasn't heroic at all. He was just teleporting clones from a distance and making them self-destruct.

Erza quickly understood, "Where is his real body?"

Everit paused, trying to figure it out.

"Let me think about it," he said, all while battling multiple foes.

His mind was racing with multiple thoughts at once.

He had to fend off attacks from two enemies, protect his allies, and provide support when needed.

And now, he was also trying to find the true identity of the "Heroic Knight" and how to break the puppet's teleportation magic.

But, realistically, he didn't need to overthink things.

They were less than a minute away from a critical moment.

In just a few moments, Everit could eliminate all the enemies on the battlefield, except for the "Heroic Knight" hiding somewhere in the distance.

But it was better if his companions could handle it—he didn't need the experience points, but Lucy and the others could really use them.

Strength comes from teamwork, and a strong guild can't rely on just one person.

"We're ready!" shouted Natsu, Gray, Lucy, and Juvia in unison.

Of course, none of their words reached the enemy—their shouts were drowned out in the chaos of battle. It was as if they were only speaking amongst themselves.

Meanwhile, their respective enemies attacked with relentless fury.

The Knight of Truth spouted nothing but lies, while the Spiritual Knight responded to every attack with obsessive intensity.

Lucy and Juvia lured their opponents, drawing them closer to Natsu, who was running in a different direction.

The gap between them was closing.

"Everit!" Gray shouted.

Everit responded, his focus sharp.

Suddenly, with a subtle gesture, the five senses of both the Knight of Truth and the Spiritual Knight were completely thrown off. Despite their ability to sense Natsu's magic, they were rendered dizzy and disoriented, as if they were on a dizzying roller coaster or a massive spinning wheel.

But these knights weren't so easily fooled—they quickly realized they were influenced by deception magic and fought to break free from the deception.

In this kind of battle, even a moment of hesitation could mean defeat.

"Natsu!" "Gray-sama!" Lucy and Juvia shouted.

"The secret of Dragon Slaying—"

"Crimson Lotus Exploding Flame Blade!!!"

"Ice Blade—"

"Seven Continuous Dances!!!"

Ice blades grew from Gray's wrists and arms. He reached the Knight of Truth first, striking quickly from behind. With a powerful twist of his body, Gray sent the Knight of Truth soaring into the air with a thunderous impact.

The Knight of Truth was strong, but he always dodged when Everit aimed for his head.

That's when Natsu's magic erupted with fierce intensity.

"Something's wrong!" The other knights sensed danger, but it was too late to intervene.

Natsu unleashed a devastating blow. He used two fiery blades to send the Knight of Truth flying, then delivered a flaming uppercut to his chin.

"Fire Dragon's—"

"Iron Fist!"

'Boom!'

A sudden explosion rocked the battlefield!

Without hesitation, Natsu swiftly pivoted, darting towards another adversary.

Meanwhile, Lucy and Juvia found themselves locked in combat with the Spiritual Knight.

"Shall we make it an even match, 50/50?" the knight taunted.

"Water Flow Surge!" Juvia conjured a powerful waterspout, hurtling it towards the Spiritual Knight.

"Open, Gate of the Lion: Leo!" Lucy called forth Leo, whose fist brimmed with the ferocity of a lion. With a blinding brilliance, he unleashed a devastating punch.

"Nicely done," the Spiritual Knight sneered, confidently extending his hands in response.

"Gray-sama!"

Suddenly, Juvia sidestepped, revealing Gray, concealed within the water.

"No!"

The Spiritual Knight's expression twisted in horror, realizing his mistake too late.

Caught off guard, he found himself ensnared by both Juvia's waterspout and Leo's assault.

Emerging from the waterspout, Gray wasted no time.

"Seven Consecutive Strikes!"

'Boom!'

The Spiritual Knight was sent flying.

Just then, Natsu arrived on the scene.

"Crimson Lotus Fire Dragon Fist!"

Natsu's attack blazed with unparalleled passion and intensity.

The Spiritual Knight found himself besieged by a flurry of blows!

"Don't let up!" Everit urged. "Lucy, summon Virgo to assist Laxus!"

Lucy, refocusing her magic, swiftly complied.

"Return, Leo."

With gritted teeth, Lucy mustered the last remnants of her magical power.

"Open, Gate of the Maiden: Virgo!"

"Princess, I'm so sorry!" Virgo blurted out the moment she appeared, her voice filled with remorse.

Her guilt stemmed from being under mind control earlier, when she had declared that she hated Lucy more than anyone.

"It's alright," Lucy replied, shaking her head. "Just go help my friends!"

"Yes, Princess!" Virgo said, then swiftly dove into the ground.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the battlefield, the Humble Knight was growing anxious as he watched his two allies fall.

"You from the official guilds, you protect demons!" he shouted angrily. "I never wanted to kill innocent people, but I gave you a chance to repent, and you refused!"

"So now, I have to judge you as well!" he declared, his voice rising. "All of you, obey my commands!"

A surge of terrifying magic energy erupted, but Laxus remained calm, unfazed by the Humble Knight's threat.

"Don't move, demon!" the Humble Knight commanded, standing tall and using his magic to keep Laxus from moving. Then there was a sudden noise—like footsteps echoing across the ground.

'da da da'

Before the Humble Knight could react, the ground beneath him suddenly opened up, and he was swallowed by the earth, his feet lifting off the ground.

Laxus seized the moment, his body crackling with electricity. "Thunder Dragon's—"

"Roar!!!"

A colossal column of lightning engulfed the Humble Knight, disintegrating him in a matter of seconds.

With that, the knights representing humility, truth, and spirituality were all defeated.

But it wasn't over yet. The Knight of Honour, the last of the group, shouted in desperation. He pulled out a magic crystal and smashed it onto the ground, triggering a magic circle.

"Trying to escape?" Everit had his eye on the Knight of Honour the whole time. The instant the magic crystal hit the ground, Everit raised his gun.

'Bang'

The shot found its mark, disrupting the Knight of Honour's escape plan.

"Ice Spring!" Gray's backhand strike froze the Knight of Justice who had leaped into the air.

Although the knight quickly broke free from the ice, he was stopped by a defiant voice.

"We are—Fairy Tail!" Natsu shouted, pausing his attack on the Spirit Knight to change direction. With a fierce final blow, he sent the Spirit Knight crashing into the Knight of Justice.

**Bang!**

The two knights collided with a tremendous impact, sending them tumbling backward.

"Thunder Dragon's—" Laxus roared as he took to the skies, charging his fist with raw electricity.

"Bang Fist!"

**Boom!**

Lightning exploded in a spectacular display, electrifying everything in its path. Two knights, defeated in rapid succession, courtesy of Fairy Tail's fierce attack.

"Don't underestimate Fairy Tail!" Laxus declared, his voice full of conviction. He looked to the Knight of Justice, whose vision blurred as he lost consciousness.

Behind Laxus, a confident Everit adjusted her glasses and gave a proud smirk.

Fairy Tail had triumphed. The Knight of Honour and the Knight of Justice had fallen.
