Chapter 94.2 : Guild Riot!!!

However, Everit looked at Natsu and Lucy, saying, "You two had unexpected situations, so forget it."

Lucy was acting strangely today.

Natsu pulled Lucy aside. Earlier, Gray had explained a complex plan to expose Everit's scheme, but Natsu found it too troublesome.

He had more important things to do today!

"What's wrong, Natsu?" Lucy's cheeks turned red and her heart raced.

Yesterday, Mirajane had spoken to her, and with Bisca as an example, the innocent Lucy had thought a lot about it.

She was a girl who longed for love.

Last night, Natsu had fallen asleep holding her, saying they should always do missions together.

She asked, "Will you always choose me as your partner?"

Unexpectedly, Natsu answered her in his sleep.

"Of course!"

Of course?

Of course what?

Of course, be lifelong partners!

If he wanted to be lifelong partners, then it could only mean...

After Natsu fell asleep, Lucy found a magazine she had read before. It contained many romantic questions, one of which made her blush - the instinctive answer given in dreams is the unfiltered truth!

So... Natsu really...

Thinking about this made her particularly sensitive.

Natsu held her hand - his grip was strong and powerful, making it impossible for her to pull away, yet it was a strength used to protect her.

"Lucy." Natsu looked at her shy expression, tilting his head slightly in confusion. However, he remembered his purpose and didn't intend to hold back his words.

He said, "Meet me at the soapberry tree in Nankou Park tonight, I have something important to tell you."

The soapberry tree in the park!

Lucy's eyes widened - it was a sacred place for confessions!

Important things -

Could it be!

Lucy asked, her voice trembling, "By important things, do you mean..."

Natsu glanced at Everit.

[He turned his head away!]

[He's shy!]

[That Natsu actually...]

Lucy felt like she was about to suffocate.

Natsu turned around and whispered, "After nine o'clock, come alone."

Nine o'clock!

It was written in the local Magnolia magazine that nine o'clock is the best time to confess, symbolizing an eternal bond.

Natsu... is going to confess to me!

Lucy's heart was in complete turmoil.

"Remember, you must come!" Natsu said solemnly.

"Uh, yeah." The bewildered Lucy nodded instinctively.

Natsu left.

Lucy followed him out of the guild, still in a daze.

---

Everit decided to let them go, as they seemed to have more pressing matters than what they were currently engaged in.

Soapberry Tree?

Nine o'clock in the evening?

It wasn't an ideal time.

Because during vacations, this wasn't the time he would choose to go out.

If he had nothing else to do, he'd prefer to boil a pot of water and soak his feet at this hour.

However, today could be an exception.

---

"Almost there," Everit said, looking at Gray.

With his help, Juvia finally succeeded in getting the potion into Gray's mouth.

Gray's expression changed as he looked at Juvia intently.

"Here it comes—"

"Fiery eyes—"

Juvia was filled with excitement.

Gray walked towards her.

[Come on, Gray-sama!]

Closer and closer!

But finally, he stopped.

Blocking the way was Happy!

"Happy!" Gray glared at him. "You, the guy who can always fly in the sky!"

"Ah?" Happy was confused.

"I'm strong, but I can't fly!"

"You're weak, but you can fly!"

Gray muttered something inexplicably angry.

"Happy——"

"You're worthy of facing me!"

"Let's compete!"

"Let's compete in flight!!!"

"Ah?" Happy was shocked. "Gray, what's gotten into you?"

Happy's eyes widened. Today was turning out to be quite strange!

Everit could drink wine.

Gray was saying such inexplicable things to him!

"Come compete with me, Happy!" Gray grabbed Happy and headed upstairs.

"No, Natsu, come save me!" Happy struggled.

But Natsu wasn't in the guild.

Gray took Happy to the top floor and stood at the edge.

"Hey, Gray, you can't be serious!" Happy looked down at the street below—it was quite high—and said anxiously, "You can't fly at all!"

"You can fly with faith!" Gray's expression was resolute. "Damn it, why are you looking at Happy like that, Gray-sama!"

Juvia hid behind a pillar, on the verge of tears but unable to cry.

"A potion that makes people angry about something they're obsessed with?" Everit observed for a moment and understood the effects of this magical potion.

"But what everyone is obsessed with is truly unexpected."

At the guild entrance, Erza pointed angrily at a pillar. "Why do you keep blocking my way? I always want to walk through here!"

"It seems you wish to fight me to the death!"

"Erza, I'll fight you to the death!" Mirajane jumped out.

"Gajeel, stay away from Levy!" Two members of the Shadow Gear—Jet and Droy—chased Gajeel.

But Gajeel searched through all the tables and corners in the guild. "Salamander, where are you? Come and fight me!"

"Freed, let's see who knows the most in the guild!" Levy chased Freed.

But Freed rushed towards Everit and said fiercely, "Everit, you, stay away from Laxus! Duel me and let's see who Laxus trusts most!"

"???" Everit set down the camera, looking bewildered.

"Elfman!" shouted Evergreen angrily, "I should be the head of this family!"

"But 500 Jewels pocket money per week is my bottom line, I'll never compromise, because I'm a man!" Elfman retorted seriously. "Are you two advancing too quickly?!"

Everit gritted his teeth. "This guy moves too fast!"

The guild grew increasingly chaotic.

Fights even broke out.

Especially Mirajane, who transformed directly into the Demon Queen and challenged Erza.

*Snap*

Everit snapped his fingers, and both instantly collapsed to the ground.

"I can't let you two fight."

It's fine if others fight, but if these two go at it, we won't need repairs, we'll need a complete rebuild.

Everit controlled the situation, preventing major incidents, but didn't stop the chaos, instead taking pleasure in snapping pictures.

Time passed slowly.

Everit halted more and more major incidents, and eventually everyone wound up asleep on the floor.

Everit moved among the sleeping guild members, then picked up Mirajane and Erza one by one.

He brought them to a small rest area and laid them on beds.

The guild fell into a deep silence.

With nothing fun left to do here, Everit walked outside.

*Bam*

A heavy object fell from the sky.

It was Gray.

He landed heavily, nose bleeding, after leaping from the top floor.

"Happy, let's have a rematch. This time, I won't lose!" Gray exclaimed excitedly.

"Everit, do something!" Juvia flew down, looking anxious.

"Take a nap, Gray," Everit commanded, and Gray instantly collapsed, fast asleep.

"Thank you," Happy sighed in relief. "What's wrong with everyone? They're all acting so strange."

Everit glanced at Juvia as she descended from above and remarked, "Juvia, don't toy with that strange potion. If you want Gray to look at you affectionately, you'll have to work hard on your own."

"I understand," Juvia replied with regret, surveying the mess before her.

"I'll leave Gray to your care," Everit added.

Juvia, on the brink of despair, gazed at the unconscious Gray before her, suddenly feeling a surge of excitement—what could she do to the sleeping Gray-sama?

"Oh, and by the way, a lap pillow is hard for a guy to resist," Everit casually remarked before departing.

Back at home,

Ikaruga was busy showcasing products to customers.

Everit didn't disturb her, instead heading to the backyard, where he settled into a chair and observed Emily diligently practicing kendo—her physical strength had notably improved recently; after all, she was still a child with exceptional recovery abilities.

In the evening,

Lucy, adorned in elegant attire and blushing profusely, arrived at the designated meeting place.

Natsu was already waiting there.

Oh no, oh no!

Lucy clasped her chest, feeling her heart about to leap out.

What should she do?

She had never rejected a boy before!

[Does it look like I'm going to reject him?]

Unbeknownst to them, Everit leaned against a tree, observing the scene.

He noted Lucy's attire—she had dressed to impress.

If Natsu were to confess now, it would be a done deal.

But alas, it was Natsu...

Tsk.

What a slow-witted fellow.

Natsu grinned, "Hey, Lucy, you're finally here!"

"Ah, yes, I'm here," Lucy glanced around nervously.

"Let's get going," Natsu urged.

Get going?

Where to?

Lucy was baffled. He couldn't possibly expect her to agree so hastily.

But he hadn't even said anything yet!

He was rushing her to respond too quickly—it was almost too eager!

"Let's hurry up and call out 'Virgo'," Natsu clarified.

"???," Lucy froze, her face filled with confusion.

"What did you say?" she asked.

"Virgo, your celestial spirit," Natsu pointed at the ground, saying, "Summon her quickly, and then open this place."

"I heard that," Natsu exclaimed eagerly, "It's rumored that the old man hid all the embarrassing photos of everyone in the guild here."

"I'm planning to find Everit's photo!"

"Heh, Gray and the others are still scheming to expose Everit's fake wine drinking. That's not an easy task. Those idiots! Everit must have been prepared!"

Natsu's voice carried a sense of pride.

"But usually at this time, Everit doesn't leave, so summon Virgo quickly. Once we find his embarrassing photos, hehehe."

Natsu chuckled evilly.

"Is that so?" Lucy said in a trembling voice.

"Yeah, stop dawdling, hurry up," Natsu replied.

"You idiot!!"

Lucy threw a desperate right hook, knocking Natsu away!

*Click*

Everit captured this precious moment with satisfaction.
