*Atlas’ POV*
I awoke before the sun had come over the hills with an eagerness I couldn't place. Or, perhaps it was anxiety. Today was the day that Eris was due to return home and I found myself dreading it.
The feelings baffled me to no end. For all the reasoning in the world, I could not fathom why saying goodbye to this woman brought me so much anguish. She was just some woman, a girl that happened to be in the wrong place at the right time.
Despite all of that though, she was remarkable. She took to us like a fish to water and I felt like I'd only begun to sample what she had to offer. She was chaos and tranquility and the taste of her was ambrosia.
With weary apprehension, I rose from my bed and dressed for the day. I wanted to get to Kyros' villa and check on her as soon as I could.
