*Heiro’s POV*
Breakfast was a tense affair. Something had clearly happened with Eris and Kyros with the way they refused to look at one another and the rest of us were stuck trying to puzzle it out. Once Eris had finished her bleak looking breakfast, she excused herself and went back to Kyros' bed to rest as he had instructed.
"And they call me the devious one," I said more to myself than anyone.
Kyros cleared his throat. "What was that?"
I gave him a wide smile and shook my head. "Oh, nothing."
Deimos and Atlas both cast me a curious glance but I wouldn't explain myself. It wasn't my business at the end of the day. Kyros simply glared at me. To Hades with him, though.
"I'll send for her family shortly," Kyros said as he poured himself a cup of wine. "We should leave soon though for assembly."
“Her father will be here?” I asked rather absentmindedly.
Kyros gave me a questioning look. “Is that a problem?” He asked.
