*Atlas’ POV*
When we arrived back at Kyros’ villa, Eris seemed almost hesitant to walk inside.
“What’s wrong?” I asked as I came up beside her.
She shook her head. “I know I wasn’t gone long at all, but it still feels like a dream being back here.”
“I’ll be honest. This entire thing feels a bit like a dream. I keep waiting for the next ugly Hydra head to show itself.”
She managed a laugh along with a small smile. “I know this isn’t my home,” she said so softly. “But, I can’t imagine being anywhere else.”
I wanted to tell her that she didn’t need to imagine being elsewhere when we were all here with her. I wanted to reassure her that this was her home if she wanted it to be. But, it wasn’t my home to offer. “As long as we are together,” I said instead.
That seemed to bring her joy and she blessed me with a toothy smile before heading inside.
