While Delilah spent time with Cody, Flora, and Kyle, I had to settle some business at the pack house. I wanted to be with my little family but there were certain matters that I needed to attend to before everything could go back to normal. Whatever normal was….


I entered the pack house and saw our meeting room was only half full. I walked past the room and went to my office to gather my thoughts before it began. We had a lot to discuss but after everything that had happened the last few days, I just wanted to be home with Delilah and our kids. I never wanted to let them out of my sight again. And after last night with Delilah, I couldn’t keep my mind from wandering and getting distracted by her. 


When I heard a knock on my door, I looked up and found Logan and Bethany standing in the doorway. They looked like they wanted to talk to me about something important. I checked my watch and noticed the meeting would be starting soon so I stood up from my desk.
