Emily was momentarily dazed. Her conversation with Herry just now reminded her of a conversation she had with Sophia ten years ago. Back then, she had advised Sophia to focus on her studies and not get involved in relationships, but Sophia didn't listen. She dated many men and even spent nights out with them.

Sophia was only fourteen then, just four years older than Herry is now.

"Hey, Emily, why aren't you talking?"

Emily stood up. "I'm going downstairs to make you some food to shut your mouth."

There were plenty of ingredients in the fridge. Emily made spaghetti. She intended to call Herry to the dining room to eat but worried that his low blood sugar might not have fully recovered. If he fell down the stairs, it would cause many problems, so Emily brought the food to his bedroom.

Herry smelled the aroma of spaghetti and meat sauce and sat at the table waiting.
