ALSO ALL ART ARE MINE.
//----------------------------------//Reminder : I'm sure this will bring dismay to some of you but Sirin won't be boarding the Astral Express for the time being, as Chapters 1 - 7 or more will be an original storyline/story arc for Sirin to grow as a person and as human, of course, she'll be heavily nerfed the majority of the time and will most likely be going hand-to-hand or use weapons half the time to fight. The arc will be named "Healing of the Soul" which will take place in Erde-IIX, a OC planet that is generally based off Britain's medieval period with a twist of some advanced machinery.//----------------------------------//
Also, a growing concern over myself. I've just realized that all FOUR of my stories contains the Female leads having one hell of a breakdown and some intense angst and suffering at some point in the stories, so i'll probably limit and DIAL that down here(Hopefully, because it kinda ruin 'Bloody Princess from the Shadows' recent chapters. So readers! Expect gruesome shit to be rare here and there.Oh and, I fixed some grammatical errors lmao.//-------------------------------------------------------------//Chapter 2 : Unlikely Reunion//-------------------------------------------------------------//Welt's eyes darted left and right as he looked around just outside Express, he maneuvered through the zero-gravity of space using the powers of Reason, allowing him to search more efficiently and quickly. He was searching for any signs of a certain destructive foe he'd once fought against, a tyrant he'd gone toe-to-toe before. After his untimely and also uncharacteristic profanity back at the Express, he hurriedly suggested the rest of them stay inside while he searched outside, much to their confusion. He had no doubt Himeko and the others would question him after his sudden panic attack. However, he wasn't going to take any chances in case the person March saw was indeed her .It brought shivers to his spine just thinking about the notion of Void somehow being alive, the immense power that she wielded and her hatred for humanity would inevitably bring destruction to any civilization she came in contact with. If the Legion's army wasn't enough, a Herrscher would be more catastrophic than your average invasion. A simple meteor raining down on the planet is enough to set a planet aflame. He internally hoped that March had simply mistaken it for someone floating in space or simply had similar physical traits to a certain Herrscher. It wasn't exactly that unusual to have someone floating in deep space(For example, March), but to have traits that were too alarming and familiar...Either way, he should expect the worst and hope for the best, even if the aforementioned Herrscher should have been gone eight to ten years ago. Kiana had personally seen to that and her status on the moon was proof of that, not to mention most of the Honkai should be sealed within the Moon, that or this could be a variant of Sirin..Upon looking around for another few minutes, he didn't find or sense anything of the norm. The logical assumption to this would be the Herrscher had probably teleported away already, his eyes glanced at every direction one last time, his instincts and paranoia begging him to double check everything. Again, he didn't see her anywhere. Not even a single shred of Honkai radiation as well. He didn't like it, the lack of information and confirmation of whether she was here or not made him restless. He needed some kind of confirmation, and at the same time, he wished that it's just a mere fluke from March. His thoughts stopped for a moment when he noticed his phone shake, a notification from a message. He picked up his phone from his pocket and checked the message that came from his friend. Himeko : Found anything? It was from Himeko, huh. She was no doubt confused about his reaction to March's information. Welt : Not in the slightest unfortunately. Himeko : I see, Welt. If possible, I'd like an explanation please. It wouldn't do well to keep the rest of the Express to be clueless about this. Welt : I know, my apologies for that Himeko. I'll explain as soon as I get back inside, though while you're at it, could you ask March where she had seen the mysterious lady go? It took Himeko a few seconds to reply to his message, after a bit she replied with Himeko : March said that the person she saw 'fell' down after they hit the Astral's side windows. Confusing as her explanation was, I assume that she meant whoever this person is, they're likely on their way to enter Erde-IIX's atmosphere since we're close enough to experience gravitational pulls from the planet. Though of course, the Astral isn't affected by this, but anyone who doesn't have the ability to fly or resist it like you do would inevitably fall down to it sooner or later. Welt perked up after he'd read Himeko's message, it did come to mind that he didn't even think about looking down when searching for her , at least not directly looking down. Pocketing his phone away, he sighed at his foolishness for not even searching thoroughly. The chance of Sirin being alive and this close to the Express had shaken him mentally, call it trauma but fighting her was NOT a pleasant experience for him.Welt went down, just below the Express to look for any signs of the Herrscher queen.Again there was nothing to see there other than the Planet's beautiful nature and its continents down below, it was a luscious green similar to earth.Earth, that such a nostalgic name. The name of his homeworld, the very same planet the Void Herrscher had nearly destroyed. He was determined to make sure that never happened again....It took him another dozen minutes to carefully look around, even going as far as to use some of his Herrscher abilities and enhance his eyesight and senses.Once he didn't find any signs of her, he almost felt relieved that maybe March was simply just seeing things, of course there was the possibility of Sirin just portaling away out of sight. He was about to go back to the Express when suddenly caught a glimpse of something white, just directly below the Express, far enough to miss if you weren't looking carefully.Welt gasped in horror when he saw her , his heart pounded with anxiety and fear as he immediately recognized that appearance and a certain spear just floating close to the woman.T-That wasn't possible, THIS ISN'T POSSIBLE! Kiana had taken care of the Herrscher of the Void years ago, she was supposed to have passed away already, unable to do more destruction as she pleased.Welt's form immediately tensed as he gripped the Star of Eden, last he heard of Kiana, she was still in the moon stabilizing and sealing most of the Honkai. Then how come.. How come she's here with Kiana's Face?! Had his student been unknowingly possessed again? With the power of Finality Sirin would be unstoppable. She could literally bring an end to whole civilizations with ease. There were other explanations and thoughts he had in mind, but the idea of Finality being wielded by Sirin had him on high-alert.With that thought in mind, Welt immediately spawned multiple constructs and aimed them at Sirin, the dark-red power of Reason crackled with intensity as Welt exerted more power than he'd released ever since coming to the Astral Express. I'll strike first, with enough luck I could trick her somehow into leaving this place, however that's hopeful thinking, at best I could probably buy everyone in the Express time to leave. With his preparation done with a nervous pounding of his heart, Welt reeled back his cane and prepared to send an all-out attack. He wasn't going to just wait and let her do the first attack when he had an opportunity to land a fatal blow.Although something was off, knowing her she would have gloated or run a monologue by now about how he was a cheater or his status as a traitor. The Herrscher of the Void had ego, rightfully so as she was a Herrscher, however.. Her silence was certainly out of character.Nevertheless, he needs to deal with this fast and hopefully (even if it's probably impossible) fend her off away from Erde-IIX and the Express.Welt narrowed his eyes and enhanced them with Honkai, he would need a clear view of her for an accurate shot. IF this was the Kiana he knew, then Reason 's power would inevitably lose to Finality, although one good shot would hopefully balance the power gap."Star of– Huh...?" Welt was about to unleash hellfire on 'Sirin' when paused on his tracks, noticing something off about her.'Sirin' was...Unconscious? Not to mention bleeding heavily, she looked rather messed up from his position. Did the Herrscher lose a fight? Is she faking her injuries? No, 'Sirin' wasn't one for deception and trickery(Excluding one time he won't talk about). Especially not this 'Sirin' who reappeared in Kiana's body. But something felt rather off about this, Welt frowned when he felt himself hesitate on his actions, what he was facing was a tyrant responsible for the deaths of many.Either way, this is his chance to get rid of her before she could hurt anyone.Welt pulled back his cane and made a motion to attack, enhancing his eyesight to make out the Herrscher's appearance more clearly. The cane was swung–...–However, it stopped, as his eyes widened at a sudden unexpected sight. For all logical reasons he shouldn't have even hesitated to obliterate her on the spot. The Herrscher of the Void was too dangerous to be left alone, letting her loose meant the death of many.Welt gripped the Key within his hands tightly, various thoughts running amok in his head. He didn't need the many voices of Reason to know that letting her go was a poor decision.Seconds became an eternity as Welt contemplated on what he should do.Just a single black hole, that was all It would take to kill her in her Injured state, and yet...He couldn't, Welt slowly lowered the Star of Eden within his grasp, all previous constructs made by Reason's power slowly dissipating. He couldn't go through with it, not after seeing that look on her unconscious face. A far cry from the real girl's face, yet the same."Good grief.. Curse me and my bleeding heart, this... Complicates things more." The Herrscher of Reason grit out regrettably, running a hand over his face as he took one more look at the Tyrant. The Herrscher Goddess was unconscious, although there was not a single sign of cut or injury on her body, she was bleeding from what seems to be from the inside-out, presumably from over-straining or forcing the body to go past its limit. However, what made Welt hesitate with his decision to attack her was her seemingly relieved face, a few droplets of tears floating by. If this wasn't the Herrscher of the Void, he would have probably mistaken her for his Successor's best friend.Such a human expression on a Destructor's face...//-------------------------------------------------------------//After reluctantly bringing the white-haired Herrscher inside, Welt had March clean up her wounds under his observation, Himeko and the others immediately jumped him and asked questions regarding the girl, though he didn't give them an answer right away and asked them to keep their distance from the girl.Later, Welt paced around the Express's main lobby, the rest of the Family watching nearby at the opposite couch where he was pacing around.Welt paused on his steps and turned to one of the Express' couches nearby, on top of it was the same woman he'd just tried to kill earlier, she was currently asleep with a white blanket on top of her(Courtesy of March)Welt frowned at the ramifications rescuing her might entail, just because he brought her back didn't mean he wasn't willing to make her face gravitational disintegration.Himeko, despite her patience, felt impatient at Welt's lack of explanation when he went back inside the Express with the Mysterious white-haired teenager in tow. She stood up from her position and softly placed the coffee she was drinking on the table."Welt, I assume... That you have a past with this girl here," Himeko stopped next to Welt and pointed to the Herrscher. "But an explanation WOULD be grand, it's not exactly pleasant to be in the dark after you've made such a reaction."Welt perked up when he finally noticed Himeko standing next to him, lost in his thoughts he accidentally forgot to acknowledge Himeko's presence."Ahh, forgive me Himeko, it's just.." Welt's eyes briefly glanced at the Herrscher before returning back to Himeko's. "This girl, last I've seen her she was supposed to be dead."Himeko shared his glance at the Herrscher. "Was... Is she an enemy of yours? Or a friend?"Welt shook his head, "No, she was certainly not a friend. She was a tyrant who brought death to many. She was once a destructive force that killed thousands if not millions in my homeworld."From the other couch, March heard this and worriedly looked at the Herrscher nearby, whereas Dan Heng cautiously narrowed his eyes, Pom-Pom just stuck to March's side. Himeko frowned when she heard this, unhappy that there's someone so dangerous inside the Express, though before she made any kind of discretion or judgment, she wanted to hear more from Welt."During that time, I fought to stop her when she was at her peak. We sacrificed and lost good people that day, then years later she returned through unnatural means and killed one of my... Former students." Welt continued, knowing that Himeko probably wanted to know more. It felt ironic telling her about the death of his Himeko whom he failed to protect due to his absence while there was another Himeko here, the same but different altogether, living his student's very dream. "Not too long after, one of my newer students permanently took care of her after a bout.. Or so we thought."Himeko rested a hand on his shoulder and gave him a concerned and worried look, Welt shook his head and removed certain ironic thoughts from his head. "It's fine, Himeko. What worries me more is her ."Himeko understood where he was coming from, the circumstances of an old foe suddenly returning in such a state would put anyone in a conundrum, unless of course you were cold-blooded and would immediately go for the kill, the fact Welt brought her here meant there was more to it. And she had a feeling as well, such a young girl sleeping with such a relieved face after they'd cleaned her non-existent injuries up had to have some implications or context."Welt, was... There a reason for her actions in your homeworld? Though I'm aware of the more unfavorable sides of people, I'm sure that not everyone is born evil, if not ever." Himeko asked hopefully. "I trust that there is, you wouldn't have brought someone so dangerous inside the Express for no reason.""If I may, I also concur with Ms. Himeko." Dan Heng raised a hand, while he may be cautious as ever. The look on that girl was too similar to someone who had just gotten out of some difficult hardship. "While I disagree with her being too close to us, I trust you Mr. Yang. You wouldn't have brought someone like her here without hesitation if they truly were such a tyrant." March and Pom-Pom hesitantly nodded as Dan Heng said this.Welt gazed at them, it didn't look much from the outside, but Welt internally brightened up at their words. Even if one of the reasons he brought her here was because she might be Kiana, or at least a version of her.Welt smiled a little. He went on to explain 'Sirin's' situation and told them of the real Sirin's upbringing, her awakening and experiences. As well as her reawakening within Kiana's body, her other half. Welt understood that Kiana and this 'Sirin' had more complicated implications with one another such as being both Sirin herself but also not, Good Sirin and Bad Sirin if you may, the other inherited everything that was bad and was now here, while other had a fresh start and was now the savior of his homeworld.Yeah, if one didn't think carefully about it they'd get confused. After he finished recalling everything he knew about Sirin – While excluding a few details of course. – Himeko immediately went to the girl's side and sat down next to her sleeping figure much to his dismay. Her being close to the possibly responsible person for his student's death left undesirable thoughts in his mind, but he knew he couldn't just tell Himeko to stay away from the girl, not after hearing her story. She's likely going to try and comfort the girl as much as she could even if it may put her in danger, at the very least he'll be there to protect her this time . Just like the Himeko I knew, she's just as kind hearted. Welt thought inwardly.March had a similar reaction to Himeko, albeit more distant. While Dan Heng only lowered his head.It didn't take long for the Herrscher to start waking up from her slumber, the noise of their conversation likely disrupting her peaceful sleep. The girl slowly moved in her position before sitting herself up with closed eyes, Welt internally hoped that it would be Kiana's eyes he would see rather than the haunting symbolic cross-haired pupils of the Void Queen. Himeko adjusted her position and moved a little to give the recently awoken girl some space, concerned but cautious in her own right. When 'Sirin' weakly opened her eyes, Welt almost cursed again for having such terrible luck, OF COURSE it would be those eyes they'd meet, March didn't say blue eyes or Purple-majestic eyes.He gripped his cane tightly and waited for the girl to recover her bearings, he pushed back the thoughts of the times he fought her years ago, mentally and physically preparing himself for any kind of altercation with her.Welt let out a heavy sigh.Time to face the music.//-------------------------------------------------------------//...Ugh, great.First thing she felt upon waking up was a terrible headache and a series of aching pains throughout her body. Everything felt painful to move, while her arms and legs felt numb, she could barely feel them other than the pain!'Sirin' let out a small groan, moving a little from her position which was arguably.. Soft? Her Isolated prison was a literal giant rock, nothing there was soft so she immediately tried to open her eyes, hopeful that her escape wasn't just a dream despite the pain she was feeling.Opening her eyes too fast proved to be a bad idea as she immediately shut them back in due to the blinding light of a ceiling.Ceiling?Forcing her eyes open with difficulties, her Amber cross-haired eyes gave view to the sight of a ceiling, a light bulb or something just on the peripheral of her eyesight, the aesthetic of the place she was in was something similar to an office-ish or an indoor formal interior.D-Did she actually do it..? Did she actually manage to get out of... That hell hole? Before she could tear up or enjoy her seemingly false hope, her blurry vision picked up on the sight of someone who had red hair who seemed to be talking to her.Oh right, the spacecraft she'd grappled onto. Her hearing was just as blurry it seems, since she couldn't properly hear the person nearby, the notion of a person being here, a literal breathing individual, felt so foreign to her.Sirin tried to push herself up from her position and found herself immediately losing strength in her arms, the blanket that was laying on top of her flopping to the ground as she tried to push herself up.No use, she could barely feel her strength.Luckily, warm soft hands assisted her and allowed her to get up to a sitting position, leaning on what she assumed to be a couch's back – Actual real couch, not the piss-poor molded solid rocks she'd previously made, the concept of something soft and worm was almost lost to her it felt nostalgic. – 'Sirin' let out a breath, focusing on her eyes to regain its clearness, as well as waiting for her ears to work properly."-ear? Are... okay?" She could barely make out the words of the person who she now found out was next to her, if it was the same her from her older times, she would've been repulsed, but right now, she appreciated any kind of conversation and presence of another person(Unless they are someone devious.)It didn't take long for her hearing to stabilize enough to make out words properly, sadly her eyes took its sweet time recovering, although she felt really tired, 'Sirin' forced herself awake and weakly looked at the person who's been calling out to her."Are...you okay dear..? Do you ...ed water?" Said the soft gentle voice of a woman, her offer already making 'Sirin' relaxed and safe. But, why did it sound so familiar though? She barely mouthed "Yes" due to her condition, the woman called out to someone with a squeaky female voice and asked them to go grab a glass of water for her, not too long after the girl came back and handed it over to the woman next to her, the red-haired woman who's face she couldn't make out properly set the glass on her lips allowing her to drink without having to raise her weakened arms. The smooth heavenly sensation of water flowing down her throat nearly made her cry, how long has it been since her last time drinking something? Herrschers as mentioned before did not require food or drinks, but she sure as hell wanted them now."-Elt, are you sure she's dan...ous? She se..s rather.." The red-haired woman next to her conversed with someone."--he is.. But seein... her conditi... I'm quite sur... as well." A rather familiar but aged voice of a man replied to the woman, they were both conversing about something related to her she guessed, probably about her. When her eyesight finally returned to normal, 'Sirin's' eyes immediately landed on the nice red-haired girl– "Auntie Himeko!" A Memory that belonged not to her but rather her other half flashed before her.//-------------------------------------------------------------//"I'm quite sure she is, but seeing her condition... I'm quite surprised as well." Welt frowned, the girl was visibly tired and weak, a few minutes ago she was unable to sit up on her own without Himeko's assistance. When they'd gotten her to sit up, they tried calling out to her but were instead met with barely conscious eyes.'Sirin' wasn't the type to show weakness to others or even accept help from a human of all things, and yet she asked for a glass of water, the Herrscher looked so weak and tired Welt thought he could probably defeat her in a single strike. If this was her attempt to deceive them, it was working quite well. The image of a barely functional teenager who had the face of one of his student's made his heart bleed."Mr. Yang, look." March quitely called out to Welt, snapping him out of his thoughts and making gin freeze up.'Sirin' was staring at Himeko with wide eyes.Welt gripped his cane so tightly his hands might have gone white, if this Herrscher Queen even thought about hurting anyone in the Express he would immediately make her see hell... But, that way of thinking isn't like him, Welt shook his head lightly and cleared out any violent thoughts towards the Herrscher, planning out a series of harmful actions towards a girl who couldn't even get up on her own made Welt disgusted at himself, was he letting the past get to his head too much? But besides his apparent prejudice against her, what on earth could have possibly happened to the Herrscher to bring her to such a state? Not to mention, how and why she was 'here'. She's certainly no Kiana, but the fact she has Kiana's appearance brought him confusion to no end, he already made sure to examine her moments after bringing her in, and confirmed that she had Honkai flowing through her... Although nearly spent and nonexistent, not to mention the feeling something within her being fabricated or 'fake', he wasn't sure if it was because of Kiana's(?) doing from the moon but the Void Herrscher(?) barely held any Honkai Energy within her.All of these were mere theories and speculations of his, the only way he'd get to confirm whoever she is, is through herself. Now if only she would acknowledge everyone else in the room instead of staring at Himeko with half open eyes."Himeko, I don't think it would be wise to be near her." Welt tensed after seeing 'Sirin's' eyes widened.Dan Heng was tense as well, aware of the danger she could bring to everyone from Welt's story.Himeko's uncertain eyes landed on him before turning back to the Herrscher. For a moment, the Herrscher's lips opened ever so slightly, then closed again. Her body tensed and became stiff despite her incredibly weakened state, Welt was already about to summon Reason's power to form a barrier around Himeko.. When the girl suddenly started shaking."I-I.. Y-You." Much to Himeko's confusion the girl inched back from her position with shaking arms. The Herrscher(?) solely focused on the red-haired woman, not bothering to look around, as if she'd suddenly seen a ghost. The Void Queen then weakly raised her shaky hands and looked at them. "I-Is this a dream..? B-But I thought–"Welt concluded she must be confusing Earth's Himeko to this Himeko judging by her words, but why elicit such a reaction? He doubted killing his student would bring nightmares to the Herrscher so why would she–Before he could continue, the 'Sirin' then slowly started crying and shaking even more followed by hyperventilation.Welt balked."I-I thought.. I got out... I thought I was finally f-free." 'Sirin' weeped with a hoarse voice. "I thought I was finally free..."Welt felt bothered by this, what was she talking about? There was no way she'd be haunted by nightmares of Himeko – What he thought anyways, after all, people can sometimes be trapped by their past. "Sirin–" Welt tried to call out to her, only for his voice to be drowned out by wailing."WHY..?! WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LET ME LEAVE?! WHAT DO YOU NEED FROM ME Y-YOU, WHATEVER YOU ARE!" 'Sirin' cried out, bringing her knees to her chest and crying to her arms. " J-Just let me die please.. "Whatever hostility Welt had, any alertness Dan Heng had, both died a horrible death when the white-haired girl on the couch cried heavily. March looked uncomfortable, unsure of what she should do, maybe try to cheer up the girl?Welt caught the glimpse of Himeko looking at him, their eyes met and a silent message was exchanged. "Welt? Are you sure this girl–" "--Yes, I'm quite sure Himeko.. But I didn't expect her to be in such a state." "Nevertheless, tyrant or not. She's but a broken girl in my eyes right now." Whatever danger she may have been put to, Himeko ignored them as she stood up from her position and approached the Tyrant.Welt's gesture of protest fell on short notice when Himeko suddenly hugged the probably broken girl.//-------------------------------------------------------------//Why.. Why can't it just let her be? Just when she thought she finally escaped, she found herself dreaming of the same woman she'd killed years ago.Did she actually fail to get on the space-train and was now dreaming about a fabrication of it? Probably, why else would her own brain bring a person from the past....W-Was this her punishment? For all the things she'd done?! For what the real Sirin's done to countless lives..?Is she just.. Forever condemned to suffer, to be out in Isolation ? To be alone?First the Babylon labs, the Gem of Serenity and now this..?S-She can't handle this anymore. If death wasn't even an option... Maybe.. It's better not to be conscious at all, just be a broken doll of a girl. Maybe that way she wouldn't have to feel any more of this constant suffering. Her amber lit eyes gradually started to lose life in them, she wasn't dying but her will to live nor exist was fading like a sputtering ember in the dark. CRACK! The Herrscher's mind finally cracked like brittle glass.//-------------------------------------------------------------//In the non-existent, yet existing at the same time, void quarter of the universe. A conceptual entity that rules a certain path to Isolation gleefully basked on its chosen victim's pain, the existence of a girl who's problems always came from loneliness and despair. It seethed at Preservation and Harmony for fending it off, it felt its power and presence wane due to the attack it had taken from the stronger Aeon. However, It smiled metaphorically, in truth as an Aeon, it held almost no power to those who knew not the experience of true loneliness, a majority of the universe's inhabitants having company one way or another, but that didn't mean it didn't have control over those who were infected by its concept. All living creatures are social, they tend not to live long by being alone so they find the presence of another, this has been a constant truth since the beginning of life and concept. A planet would have its sun to orbit, a moon would have a planet to follow, death follows life, a child is not without its parent. Each and every single constanality of the concept of Isolation is always annihilated by its opposite, Companionship and Connectedness, the fact that these variables were not accounted to as fellow Aeons baffled the Entity, Aeon or not its constant existence always led up to its weakening, leading to to almost no power or followers. However, it did come with a few advantages, being the concept of Isolation, it allowed itself to follow any rule or control and manipulation through it.It was completely untraceable and impossible to find unless it wanted to, allowing itself to hide from other concepts. Except of course, it's very business partner on a certain project, Destruction . The concept of Isolation usually led to insanity and despair, which in turn leads to Destruction in one way or another. While they weren't on friendly terms, they were allies, since their concepts aligned with another. Even if poorly.Right now, in its unseen abode, it watched over a certain little poor girl who will soon become its doll , not solely to its own obviously, but also a meek little pawn to be used by Destruction. At first, the Aeon disliked its lack of Emanators due to its nearly faded power. It definitely had people who used its power, but there weren't that many... However... It was then it found her , a girl who at a young age was condemned to despair and suffering, and the very feeling of Isolation, she later grew in power through a higher power who it will not acknowledge. However, what it did acknowledge was the girl's initial power on the moon, her power was on par, if not stronger than an Emanator! It saw the potential she had to be under its control, to be its puppet. Even when her false self reawakened in another body, living alongside her total opposite. She was still a destructive force to be reckoned with, the best part about it was her lack of Connection, the girl was a top candidate to be a pawn to be played with and broken over. But it did not have the power to pull her away from that world, so it found help in the form of its ally. All it needed to do was wait for her presence to be of no significance in the world, which later came when she 'passed away'At that very moment, its power over her grew enough to be able to pull her away from that world and create a false body, one that did not harbor the power of Honkai – Since the girl quite literally basked in the experiences of being alone , it had enough power to bend reality to its will and create a body that was in both sense, her and not- her , allowing its concept to extend to that body –- The false body it locked her in was nothing but a perfect copy without its capabilities. But it seems it had underestimated her status as a 'Ruler', but nevertheless, all those powers she previously had were nearly stripped away by its doing, it had initially intended to just put her in a perfect copy that was no stronger than the average human but that proved to be a worthless action as her status empowered her copy of a body to match her weakened status. In other words, the girl's level of power remained in the false-body, even if a little. But that mattered none when she couldn't even use them properly, the new body she had barely had no resistance nor power to use Honkai . When it found out she wasn't able to use them, it locked her away in an Isolated moon for decades, waiting until she eventually broke so that it would have control over her and her powers.Just like now, It could feel its power over the girl growing ever so hastily. The intervention of the other Aeons was simply a small setback, mere minutes! It didn't even need to do anything to break her as the girl simply thought she was in another dream, what a fool.Fool or not, she just made its job easier...!Incomprehensible power formed, gigantic non-existent hands that out-sized Akivilli's little toy poised to clasp the girl within. The Herrscher's mind finally cracked like brittle glass. Yes...! YES...! YES!The hands grew closer, just a little bit more and it'll be able to take her away, it will play with her life, until she breaks and becomes its puppet and Emanator!Break, break, break! Become my Emanator and spread Destruction. The more destruction there is, the more there is to solitary and loneliness!BECOME A TOOL FOR ITS RISE IN POWER!BREAK–//-------------------------------------------------------------//Soft hands suddenly wrapped around her, making her flinch at the foreign touch. 'Sirin' felt warm for the longest time in her life, her crying paused when she fully registered that the arms were real and not a fabrication of her mind.Teary cross-haired amber eyes dared to peek out from her arms, they widened when she saw the red-haired woman who's supposed to be dead hug her.The action was... Almost foreign, T-The only time she'd been hugged so warmly was– Ich Liebe Dich. 'Sirin' shook, normally she would have been repulsed by the hug but... She wanted to return the hug, just to make sure it was real. To make sure that it was okay to hope for salvation from this."A-Ah...–" "Shhh... I don't know what happened to you, but it's fine now. You're safe, you're not dreaming.."S-She wasn't really dreaming? This was all real?As if to answer her, the hug only became tighter."I-I...Y-You" You're real right..? She's safe now right? "It's okay if you want to cry, the worse has gone past.. It's all going to be okay."The gesture was so kind and warm for someone like her who's been alone for so long, the crack healed ever so slightly as the dam broke."A-Ahhh... Ahhh!" The girl shakily returned the hug and cried harder than before. For the second time in 'Sirin's' existence, she allowed herself to be weak and melted into someone's warm grasp.//-------------------------------------------------------------//No.. No.. NO!It was losing its influence on her! Curse that navigator! It was mere moments from finally getting its chance to rise in power. The Aeon of Isolation cursed, it was furious at the navigator's unintentional intervention.Curse it, it may delay its plans even more, but at least it'll have a chance to take her later on.If it can't have her, no one will!Just because she didn't give in, doesn't mean all of its influence was entirely gone, meaning it still had a slight bit of power over her. And all it needed to do to prevent her healing was separate her away from them. The world shook as it clasped its hands, the waning power of Isolation gathered into a singularity and formed.//-------------------------------------------------------------//Welt pushed his glasses back into position, not having expected such an outcome. He initially thought that he would have to fight her again once more , but it instead ended up with the Herrscher crying in Himeko's shoulder. The coffee-loving navigator in question held her hug tighter, offering comfort as much as she could to the weeping Herrscher."I.. Did not expect this." Welt sighed, internally cursing himself. THIS had been about to disintegrate the same person who was crying in Himeko's grasp a few minutes ago? While he did not know her circumstances, her breakdown from earlier immediately made him regret trying to kill her. Sure, they were once enemies and killed millions, but that all rooted from her traumatic childhood – Courtesy of the old Schicksal. It didn't mean he wouldn't extend any kindness to her if she genuinely needed it(Only if she didn't threaten to kill people of course)"Mr. Yang, could it be possibly because of..?" Dan Heng stood beside him, examining the crying girl.Welt already knew what he was going to say. "I do not think Shicksal would have managed to capture her again, it's quite literally impossible as that Old Shicksal was now gone. And judging by her earlier words, she must have been taken away somewhere somehow and had recently escaped.""That's when March saw her." Dan Heng offered."That's when March saw her." Welt nodded.Speaking of March, the girl had gone back to one of the Express' cars and came back with a warm brew of hot chocolate accompanied by Pom-Pom(Who took the glass of water from Sirin's hands to add it to the dishes to clean later). She didn't know what else to do to help ease the girl's pain so she brewed something nice and warm for her. "Mr. Yang, what's going to happen now? I mean she doesn't seem very 'Tyrannic' to me." 'Good question indeed March, what's going to happen now?'' Welt thought."I'm thinking that we see more of her situation first, since she isn't exactly hostile for the time being, I'd like to see if there's anything we could do to help her.. Maybe even convince her to change and be a better person." That was his first option, the girl had already gone through so much, even the original 'Sirin' has had enough of that noise already. The reason for her awakening as a Herrscher in the first place was her traumatic experiences, if he and maybe the others could help her heal, she might turn sides just like the other Herrschers on earth. But not before getting rid of what was troubling her first, 'Sirin' was clearly more broken than ever, even going as far as to desperately hug someone. 'What even happened to her?' Welt pondered, maybe he'll ask that when she's mentally recovered enough. His thoughts were cut off when he noticed 'Sirin' had finally stopped crying and was now sniffling. She slowly pulled back away from Himeko, but not before holding her arm like a lifeline, seemingly afraid that they would somehow disappear.Himeko didn't mind and straightened her back. "Are you okay now?"'Sirin' didn't say anything, but nodded anyway while staring at the floor. She continued to stay still for a few seconds until she looked up to Himeko."W-Where..." Asked the girl with a hoarse and tired voice."You're in the Astral Express, my name's Himeko and I'm the navigator." Himeko introduced herself, her name making the Herrscher perk up a little. "We found you after you hit the train, gave March quite the shock there." She chuckled, attempting to lighten up the mood.March pouted from the side, it's not her fault that girl suddenly showed up unannounced like a zombie on the window!"The girl pouting behind me is March, the young man over there is Dan Heng and the cute little ball of fluff is the Conductor." Himeko introduced them one by one, the Herrscher's eyes landing on them for a brief moment before moving to the other, she was intrigued by the small walking rabbit but there was one person that stuck out like a sore-thumb.'Sirin' would have jumped back in fear if she could, as next to the boy who was named Dun dun? Dun ha? She forgot his name already, but that wasn't important. Because next to him was a familiar brown-haired man in gray. "I am Welt of Humanity!" H-He was here! The cheater was here, who she could tell had most of his power. While she was here powerless . She's going to die- "Shhh, calm down! He won't hurt you." Himeko eased the girl, snapping her out of her thoughts. "I promise, he's not going to harm you."Himeko pointed to the man with a smile. To back up that claim, Welt raised a hand up and waved at her. "Don't worry, I bear no hostility this time, Sirin."'Sirin' looked from Welt to Himeko with an uncertain look, before calming down. "You're.. That man from before.""I am." Welt nodded. "While I did not expect this sudden and unannounced reunion, I can tell that you hold no hostility to us. Hopefully it stays that way.""Is anyone going to talk about how her voice is normal now? Or is that just a space thing?" March whispered to Dan Heng from behind Welt and Himeko. Of course, Welt already noticed this beforehand and merely chucked it up to 'Sirin's' weakened state.."Y-You're a deceitful man, how do I trust your word?" 'Sirin' defensively narrowed her eyes."I know we had a past, but I tell you now that you can trust me." Welt paused. "If not, then you may trust her word." He nodded to Himeko who smiled softly.'Sirin' looked unsure, but seemingly accepted it."Would you like some hot choco..? March made some for you while you were... Occupied." March came forward after Himeko offered her the drink, the pink-haired girl had the presence of someone friendly, which allowed 'Sirin' to calm down more.'Sirin' nodded, letting go of Himeko and reaching out to the cup with both hands. The drink nearly fell when her shaking arms gave up halfway after taking it from March, luckily Welt caught it before it could fall any further, perfectly catching it without spilling any hot choco. He held it out to the Herrscher who looked at him with still uncertain eyes, Welt offered nothing more than a small smile.'Sirin' took the warm drink reluctantly, keeping an eye on Welt before drinking the warm beverage. The girl flinched for a moment, before gulping the entire thing in one drink. March winced while watching this, probably wondering how the girl drank something hot without any problems(While in truth, it wasn't really that hot. March was just picky about hot drinks)"Good call on the hot choco March, I doubt brewing a coffee would have been the right call." Himeko commented from the side, everyone except 'Sirin' sweatdropped upon hearing that.March only shook her head and internally apologized to Himeko. "It's precisely why I made that Ms. Himeko, I don't think that Sirin girl would survive another traumatic experience such as drinking your coffee." "Good call March." Dan Heng agreed. "Do make sure not to let her know about this, or Himeko will become sad." Welt added. After 'Sirin' drank the entire cup in mere seconds, she had calmed down enough to stare at the cup for a few seconds, reminiscing and appreciating the taste of something sweet, something hadn't tasted in years(?)After seeing that she was somewhat mentally stable now, Welt decided to jump on the opportunity and subtly ask 'Sirin'"Sirin, if possible. Could you tell us what happened before you, ahem, hit the Express? You don't have to answer it if you don't want to." Himeko gave him a look, to which Welt only sent an apologetic expression.'Sirin' looked up from her cup and stared at Welt with depressed eyes. She pondered whether she should say it or not, there was nothing but silence in the Express for a few seconds until 'Sirin' spoke."I.. was imprisoned.""Imprisoned..?" Welt frowned and pushed on much to Himeko's dismay of asking the girl any further questions. "There ARE other things I'd like to ask beforehand like how you are here, but I'll simply limit it to one question, but could you please expand on that?""I don't know... Reason , all I remember was after fighting that fool Kiana, I was taken away b-by something and was imprisoned, how long? I do not know.""..." Welt frowned even more, after fighting Kiana? That meant somewhere before the fight against the Herrscher of Dominance and Kiana's evolution to the majestic Herrscher of Flamescion, but more importantly, taken away by something? 'Sirin's' Uncharacteristic way of talking and expressions aside, that implied she's been Isolated for 8 to 10 years, maybe even more than that depending on the place she was Imprisoned in."All I know is something intentionally brought me there, it wanted to break me and turn me into its puppet." 'Sirin' shook while recalling the experience, Welt decided he wouldn't push anymore than that, uncomfortable about making the girl recall any more traumatic experiences..But still, turn her into a puppet? Was it the enemies back at home? The sky people were out of the question and any other Herrschers were basically gone now except for a few.Void Archives? The divine key who had taken over of one Otto's bodies wouldn't have been able to do something like this, Imprisoning a girl who's supposed to be death years before Otto's demise and provide a body to said girl is out of his abilities, he can make a body sure but bringing 'Sirin' herself into it? Not in any way possible, if that was the case then he'd have somehow taken away the Gem of Serenity from Kiana.Something else was at play here, but what? What or who could have enough power to bring someone from his homeworld, create a physical Herrscher body for them and seal them away for years? His mental lists ranged from an Overlord, to someone with unique powers, another Herrscher, and to an Emanator.Tch, not enough Information to make a hypothesis.Maybe an Aeon? While Welt was brainstorming, Himeko went to 'Sirin's' side and asked the Herrscher. "Hello again, is it fine if I call you Sirin?"'Sirin' opened her mouth to say something, but seemed to have discarded a thought and nodded anyway. This Himeko... Was she the same as the one she'd killed?"Alright Sirin, everything's fine now. With Welt here, I'm sure no one would be able to harm us here." She gave the girl a reassuring smile, completely faithful in Welt's abilities. Sirin somewhat doubted that, but then again, she wasn't sure how strong the entity that Imprisoned her was."Hopefully.. I just wanna be free.." Sirin mumbled to herself.A hand rested on her shoulder, prompting her to look at the owner of the hand. "Hey, if it helps, I promise I'll be there when you need help." Said Himeko."...Thank you, I just... want to be free, to rest from everything. But now, dying in here terrifies me because that thing might take me away again," Sirin let out a breath. "Funny, how hypocritical of me. I wanted to die in that prison because I was losing it, now I'm afraid of death because It might imprison me once more.""You didn't deserve it, no one deserves to be condemned to such a thing.""...Who knows, maybe that prison was made for me to pay for my sins.""You're just a girl who suffered.""I'm a ruler, a goddess... Or so I used to be." Sirin somberly said. "Not after that thing took my authority away."That was the extent of their conversation for at the moment, Himeko guessed. The girl still doesn't completely trust them, that's reasonable."Himeko, Is there anything or anyone in the cosmos that is capable of what they did to Sirin?" Welt asked from the side, Dan Heng who was nearby seemed to have an Idea but waited for Himeko to answer first, while March was just standing around.Himeko turned to face Welt and put a hand on her chin. "While I do have a few ideas, an Aeon would be the easiest answer I could give, not many could output such power to Isolate someone for such a long time.""If I may, my second guess was an Emanator, but I do agree with Ms. Himeko." Dan Heng supplied."I thought the same, at first I thought it was the Honkai that imprisoned her there." Welt glanced at Sirin, who shook her head. "But that's not possible as the rest of the Honkai are already being sealed in my homeworld's moon.""Sealed? What do you mean by that, Reason?" Sirin asked in confusion.Welt turned to face her. "A lot has happened since your absence, but to put it simply, Kiana had absorbed the Cocoon of Finality and became the Goddess of Earth, sealing and stabilizing Honkai in the moon."Sirin took that in, for a moment she felt nostalgic and proud. The Kaslana had really done it just like she said, she followed her own path and eventually succeeded. "So she really did it...""The question is, If it was an Aeon, which one would it have been? Aeon's are limited by their concept and I don't think any of them corresponds to something like Imprisonment." Dan Heng said."My first guess would have been the Aeon of Elation, Aha. But that's extremely unlikely as Elation doesn't have anything remotely close to that." Himeko pondered."If not then, who could be the most likely proprietor?" Welt finished.Everyone fell into silence with the exception of Pom-Pom and March who were gossiping at the back. If none of the Aeons fit the description, that meant something else was responsible for Sirin's imprisonment, throughout the world people had unique abilities and talents as per the path they followed. But they were not powerful enough to pull off the feat of imprisoning a Herrscher."Traitor... I do not know.. What these Aeons are but I could make a few guesses." Sirin spoke up from the couch. "But, is there an Aeon of Isolation?"That... Was a thought to ponder, Aeons could be born anytime as long as there was a path and concept, so what Sirin was proposing was entirely plausible, maybe there's an unknown Aeon out there?Incomprehensible hands clasped, combining all influence of a concept to enforce one action into reality. As if on cue, Sirin and Welt's eyes immediately widened when they felt an unfamiliar power explode everywhere. Not necessarily everywhere as Sirin immediately had a look of fear on her face, a dark sinister miasma engulfed Sirin's legs and slowly climbed up within a blink of an eye.The others were too slow to react, Welt wasn't the same as Reason 's power exploded, he lunged at incredible speeds in-order to save Sirin of all people."N-No pleas-" Whatever she was going to say was cut off when she'd suddenly disappeared in front of him."Sirin!" Welt's echoing voice due to the Herrscher of Reason's power rang out as he swung his cane at the miasma. The world shook as it made contact, dark-red lightning clashed with the miasma. The shockwave blew everyone from their feet except Welt as he pushed forward, fueled by determination to save the girl and fury at whatever this thing was, he mustered all of his strength into the Star of Eden until he was pushed away by the shockwave. The miasma disappeared with a cry of something unknown.Welt cursed, what matter did damaging the Entity that took Sirin away would be if he couldn't save her in the first place."Welt! Are you okay?" Himeko called out. "Where's Sirin? Please tell me you managed to save her in time." The answer was already there, but she wanted to hope the girl was okay, she'd just made a promise and if she couldn't keep it, damned be the consequences of fighting a likely unknown Aeon.Welt grit his teeth and shook his head, angry that his moment of surprise costed him a few milliseconds away to save Sirin. "No, I'm sorry, I was too slow..."Himeko grimaced, closing her eyes and releasing a breath. "Do you know where she was taken?""I have... A few ideas, while I do not have control over the dominion of spacetime, I can certainly sense it." Welt walked towards the Express' window and peered down below at the Planet they were stationed above. "She's probably here somewhere, whatever tried to take her away was interrupted when I attacked them."With that knowledge in mind, Himeko went on to grab her weapon-case and started walking towards the landing compartments."Himeko?" March called out to her, shaken by the sudden blast that took them off their feet."What are you all waiting for? We've got no time to lose." Himeko said with a determined tone.Dan Heng already knew what she was planning as he shook his head, "I'll stay in the Express, It would be grand if someone could report the events that might happen up here with great detail."Himeko gave the young man a thankful look and turned to Welt and March. "So?""As sudden as this is, I can't say I didn't expect this.""You're coming instead Ms. Himeko? Awesome!"Himeko smiled, thankful that they didn't mind her company instead of Dan Heng. She should probably gift the young man something later as a token of appreciation for his decision, but first, she had a promise to keep.//-------------------------------------------------------------//Sirin flailed helplessly in fair, the turbulence of being suddenly sent into another location caused her dizziness to no end, one moment she was pleading not to be taken away, the next she suddenly found herself staring at a blue sky, Sirin then realized she wasn't in that place again, and was instead in another location that was eerily similar to earth. Reason had tried to get aid her as fast as he could, but alas, the sudden warp had costed him a few milliseconds of being stationary. From her point of view, Himeko had only just barely registered what was happening when she was suddenly teleported away.Sirin cursed, now what. She couldn't hide her genuine fear at the location she was currently in, what if this was another prison that was more secured than the last?Incredolously, her thoughts were interrupted when she felt something feathery hit her back, instinctively she grabbed it as fast as her strained body could and came face-to-face with a bird that was now cawing at her.Wut?Confused, Sirin rolled to her back while airborne, facing the ground and mentally preparing herself for the possibly new prison she'd just landed to. Hundreds of feets below her was a luscious green forest that nearly expanded to an entire country's worth of size, how big was this forest?! But that was the last of her worries at the very moment.Sirin watched as the ground rapidly grew closer, she had no doubt that if she were still to have her former powers she would survive the fall with ease. But in this weakened state of hers? No way, she would splat like a watermelon falling from a three-story building. She furrowed her brows, willing an old power within her and attempting to slow down her fall... Or what should be happening now if she still had most of her powers."Oh wait, I can't fly anymore..."..."AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"//-------------------------------------------------------------//A/N :1 - The one who trapped in Sirin in Siroon(The Moon-Like Meteoroid) was an OC Aeon named "Oizys", the Path Of Isolation, who aligned with the Aeon of Destruction, Nanook, to trap and break Sirin for his manipulations. As Isolation often comes from Pain or Distress, it leads to Insanity and being forgotten. A trait that can work with Destruction if one were to be in so much pain.
2 - The Body Sirin currently inhabits is a mere imitation of the one she had against Kiana, it doesn't have any special capabilities other than the disadvantage of not being able to hold Honkai Energy very well(At least for now), any feats she'll pull of whether it's physical or something else, will be because of her Herrscher abilities coming to life for a brief moment followed by a strain.3 - Trailblazer Caelus is still not born as this is THREE months before the Herta Station incident4 - Yes, I'm aware "Kiana" and "Sirin" are just two different personalities born from the real Sirin via the machinations of Otto's cloning shenanigans, which is why there are '' in each time this version of Sirin is mentioned, until the last quarter of the Chapter.5 - Oizys' name comes from the Greek God of Loneliness himself.6 - The Aeon of Isolation is severely weaker than its fellow Aeons, thus limiting its influence only to those who've experienced or is currently experiencing great amounts of "loneliness", just the concept of it is enough to empower it.7 - How did Oizys create a body for Sirin and snag her from the HI3 Timeline? Easy, the girl was practically a walking beacon for its powers to manipulate, and creating a body for Sirin was easy for at as the Body itself was meant to be "Sirin"
