Classification System, Sects & Guilds

CLASSIFICATIONS

Class ???

Class 8: ?

Class 7: ?

Class 6: ?

Class 5: Amateur Godhood. The beginning stages of the gods; of miracles that can aid or help cities and islands, create rivers, and shape the earth to what may seem impossible for modern men. Class Five is the very first basis of the Classification System, originally standing as a peak that referred to natural disasters.

Class 4: Wizards, Foundation Establishment Cultivators. Dangerous curses and plagues that can wipe out hundreds of thousands are included. Nukes may or may not work as they themselves fall here.

Class 3: Homes, Buildings, Structures. Modern weaponry would start losing their effectiveness. Bullets, missiles, that sort. Nukes on a Class 3 is unavoidable death.

Class 2: Threat to a Population. A Class 2 could certainly kill and/or destroy a small village where a Class 1B could not. Class 2 holds the potential to kill hundreds of Class 1Bs in a short period of time. On Earth, the weakest of Class 2 would be an armoured hippo and the strongest would be modern aircraft.

Class 1B: Human Threat. Men with guns, amateur players, highly-trained trained fighters on Earth, and mages sit here. Class 1Bs can potentially kill ten-thirty people.

Class 1A: Little to no threat. Humans, dogs, and other small-time animals. Class 1A may be able to kill one person at a time.

The Imperial Sovereign Sect

Founded by Empress Xiaokangzhang, the Kangxi Emperor's mother and currently led by the Kangxi Emperor. Nearing the Big Three in power once more. The Kangxi Emperor and his family live in the Forbidden City, the largest palace in the White Abyss. The Sect owns the Baishi Mall and impose heavy sales and property taxes.

The Imperial Sovereign Sect is allied with the Heseri, Niohuru, Nara, and Guwalgiya clans.

Council of Princes and Ministers: Advisory board for the Kangxi Emperor consisting of his children. The Kangxi Emperor had fifty-nine children on Earth, some of whom have migrated to the White Abyss and joined the Sect.

Kangxi Emperor's Harem: In accordance to the Qing Dynasty, the harem hierarchy is ranked as followed: Empress, Imperial Noble Consort, Noble Consort, Consort, Concubine, Noble Lady, First Class Attendant, and Second Class Attendant. The Imperial Noble Consort, Lü Siniang, is an anomaly with no children yet earns equal amounts of attention and power as the Empress. The Empress is Lady Tong, who was the Imperial Noble Consort in her life and was instated as Empress Xiaoyiren upon her death. Here in the Heavenly Games, she has officially become and used her power as Empress Xioaoyiren. The Kangxi Emperor's harem commune with the Caliph's Harem for trading and peace despite high tensions between their communities.

Six Ministries: Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Rites, Ministry of War, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Works, Imperial Household Ministry.

Justice Sect

The enforcers of justice donned in white hanfu. Every Cultivator in the Sect, whether they are a Sect Elder or an Outer Disciple, wear white the hanfu with dragon symbols for material equality. Students (Outer and Inner Disciples) form bonding contracts with their mentors (Core Disciples, Elder, Council Elder, and even the Sect Master) and live in their quarters. The Sect itself shares a strong, professional relationship with the Templar Order.

Their two headquarters face each other and are located close to the Templar Order. Junior School Tree for Core Disciples and below, and the Elder School Tree for Elders and above.

They are famous for their legendary fighting style, the Justice Fighting Style: Yihe Quan. There are 1000 associated "Gates" or techniques and more to come as the Sect evolves. Much of their moral obligation comes from the gift that is the Yihe Quan fighting style.

Orthodox Sect

A Sect unconcerned with justice or moral obligations and instead focused on perfecting oneself. Their ultimate goal is become one with nature but not defy it. They are neither good nor evil but somewhere in between. A shade of grey that cares not for its colour but its polish. Sect Master is Li Xuanming.

Unorthodox Sect

Purely neutral Sect that focus on perfecting Cultivation techniques with an emphasis on alchemy and science. Do not care for the environment and have little to no morality.

Demonic Sect

"The strong survive and the weak fear the strong." The Sect of demonic humans, both in a literal and figurative sense. The Sect seeks chaos and kills for the sake of attaining power. More often than not, the Demonic Sect is in a state of infighting; however, this is a natural act and not considered troubling. To be the strongest, you must always prove it and this rule is exemplified best by its leader, the Heavenly Demon.

Indeed, to maintain some semblance of order, the Demonic Sect is headed by its strongest martial artist, the Heavenly Demon. The Left and Right Bright Messengers serve as the Heavenly Demon's deputies. The cult also has the Four Guardian Kings who assist the leader in overseeing the cult's activities. Ranked below the Guardian Kings are the leaders of the five clans.

"What has happened to the Demonic Sect...?"

Beggars Sect

An information agency that competes with the Whispers of the Carious. They are as their sect name suggests: a group of martial artists that pose as beggars or hold strong ties to beggars to consolidate information. They train and gather in discrete areas of the Underground and Dark Sector. Their leader has never been discovered.

Hao Sect

The "unorthodox" counterpart to the Beggars Sect but certainly distinct from them. They hold strong ties with the Imperial Noble Consort, Lü Siniang. Unlike the Beggars Sect, they have many locations in the form of brothels, bars, and gambling dens. Their members consist of dancers, prostitutes, and bartenders. Although lower in battle than the Beggars Sect, their information gathering abilities no doubt surpass them.

Shaolin Temple

Strict Buddhists, they shave their heads and practice Tao martial arts. They do not use weapons, only their hands, and they are considered to be among the most peaceful guilds. They do not seek trouble or monetary gain. As a result, they are held in high esteem by every man, woman, and guild. Stirring trouble with them is not worth the trouble, both for one's reputation and life.

Hashshashin / Order of Assassins

A mythical order located in the Underground. Their existence has never been confirmed. According to the stories, they are led by the Old Man of the Mountain, the Master/Sayyidna. The Master is rumoured to have founded the Order during the days of the Chaotic Era. The objectives of the Order of Assassins are unknown and they appear during crucial moments in history. Indeed, they cannot be hired and only requested through prayer, or so it is said.

The mythical garden where the Order of Assassins resides is said to disappear and reappear for those whose requests are accepted. The garden is described to be a mirror of the Garden of Paradise and is connected to Alamut Castle. Lost children of the Underground may wonder and join the Order of Assassins if they believe in Allah, or so it is said.

Asuras

Part of the Power Alliance and have huge influence in the Dark Sector. They sell demon blood for people to use as power-ups.

Spider's Web

Believers of Anansi. Specialize in creating complex magic circles. Exclusive for Wizards and Shamans.

Maccabees

Jewish warrior guild. The Head Rabbi wields the Hammer of Abraham or so they say.

Thunderstrike Brotherhood

A "guild" holding a monopoly in the energy and technology industry. It operates similarly to a company in the 1900s with many branches and wishes to someday move away from being called a guild or even a Brotherhood. Subsidaries include:

Thunderstrike Light Brotherhood

Thunderstrike Lamp Company

Thunderstrike Machine Works

Thunderstrike Manufacturing Company

Thunderstrike Studios

Thunderstrike Motion Picture

Formed during the early days of the Heavenly Games, they invented and still sell lightning lamps and other magical appliances. They also sell modern-esque technology like cameras identical to those in the 1950s. Indeed, whether it is magic or technology, the Thunderstrike Brotherhood has the brothers to study and sell it. They are the biggest contractor of trade and the hope for secretaries and officers. The number of workers has not been adequately calculated due to their exponential increase in size with every passing year.

The Brotherhood's influence can be felt everywhere. They sell buildings with electricity. In the Dark Sector, they go to the Moon Club for negotiations. They accept any and all customers.

The Great Grid is a scientific and magical area that generates effectively infinite electricity. Located in the Merchant Sector, The Great Grid is one of the largest structures in the Nebulous Bazaar.

Council of Storms: The ten leaders of the Thunderstrike Brotherhood.

Sector Chief: Manages one of the five sectors of the Nebulous Bazaar. An office worker as much as an engineer that must know his sector on an in-depth level.

Pulse Overseer: Manages the health and efficiency of the power grid and works closely with the Sector Chiefs.

Master Engineer: Oversees complex engineering projects. Generally for guilds that want electricity in a farm, factory, facility, or home. Only a Master Engineer has the expertise to make required adjustments.

Arc Warriors: Trained fighters that ensure the security and defense of the guild's assets. Their jobs vary.

Grid Guardians: Protectors of the Great Grid. Famously known to be Class Six and arguably the strongest the guild has to offer.

Engineers, Conductors, and Initiates are as they sound. They are the grunts that work tirelessly to keep the whole of the White Abyss running technologically-speaking.
