CHAPTER FORTY-FIVE

The goblet bounced off Rain's head and she fell to the ground, the skin of her forehead split open, a small painful cry escaped her lips. Rain shivered when she saw her own blood, the Empress jumped out of her bed, and stepped backwards, and it was as though she touched something dirty.

"Ah," Rain gasped, her chest rising and falling as her left hand shakily found the split on her head, pressing tightly on it, trying to stop the blood. "Your Majesty, if I have done anything that isn't to your satisfaction, you should have said something."

"Your entire being is against my satisfaction," Empress Vermil yelled with eyes wide. "How can two people look so alike? How come you look so much like that demon?"
