Chapter 79- Don't try my limits

Alexander's POV

I left the basement, Bruno's indifferent laughter still echoing in my ears. She begged me to let her have a quicker death, but I didn't grant her that. Instead, I handed her over to Elder Eason, as I had planned from the start. I needed to completely dismantle Vincent, and without the help of the Blue Moon pack, I couldn't do it alone.

Vincent was my nightmare. Only his death would allow me to wake up from this torment.

Instead of returning to the mansion, I headed to the bar and drank heavily, trying to erase the nightmare from my mind. But the more I drank, the clearer the nightmare became. I could feel his menacing face pressing down on me, suffocating me. After leaving the bar, I took a cab to Susan's place. In the darkness, Susan recognized the familiar scent of a man mixed with strong alcohol – she knew it was me. Since I had settled her there, I hadn't visited her even once.
