Aftermaths Of The Slaughter.

South Korea October 3rd, 2018. 5 AM.

"So-Jin! Stop!"

"Haeun, shut up! We're not safe anywhere here."

I was running. I was overwhelmed; my friends were dead. Shit, now what's going to happen? Not to mention, I'm stuck with this idiot.

"So-Jin!!"

I look behind to see Haeun; he and I are exhausted. But that damn guy could be following us. We're still not safe as long as we are in this forest. I'm going to have to make it out quickly. Haeun may have shot that bastard, but I can't underestimate him.

I sighed and stopped in my tracks, giving Haeun and me a chance to catch our breath. I looked around, scanning for any sign that told us to leave. "Haeun, when you were kidnapped, what did that bastard say to you?"

Haeun was still catching his breath, timid and weak. I expected that he had little to no stamina. I can't believe this idiot saved me.

Haeun looked up and began to say, "He kept saying equilibrium. But when Iseul tried shouting for help, he... he..."

I wouldn't say I like where this is going. I'm going to kill this bastard who dared to slaughter my friends with my own hands!

I grabbed Haeun's collar, choking him slightly, and then I said, "He did what? Speak, you useless, incompetent loner!" I let go of Haeun's collar, and then he started to look as if he was scared. No, he looked shaken up and not in the way where I would mess with him and then leave. I haven't seen this expression on his face.

"He cut her tongue."
