It's Time To Rebuilt

Immediately after the call with Lisa and Elsa was disconnected, Valerie turned to her mother with an expression of pure determination.

“Mommy, please, can I go with you to Greece? Pretty, pretty please!” she begged, her wide stormy gray eyes shimmering with unshed tears. She clasped her hands in front of her chest, putting on the best puppy-dog look she could muster—one she knew her mother could never resist.

Elsa hesitated, her brows furrowing with concern. “I don’t know, Valerie…” she said slowly, her voice tinged with uncertainty. “This isn’t just a trip. I’ll be working hard to make sure the wedding goes as planned. If everything goes smoothly, we could get more contracts and expand in Greece and other parts of Europe.”

“But I promise I won’t disturb you, Mommy. I’ll be so good, you won’t even know I’m there!” Valerie insisted, her voice cracking with desperation.
