Chapter eighteen

As Ji-Won and Hye-Jin finished their meal, the warm glow of the sun cast a golden hue over the bustling streets around them. With satisfied smiles, they leaned back in their chairs, enjoying a brief moment of respite from their busy day.

But as Hye-Jin laughed at something Ji-Won said, her eyes crinkling with joy, Ji-Won couldn't help but notice a small smudge of sauce lingering at the corner of her lips. His heart skipped a beat at the sight, his gaze drawn irresistibly to the endearing imperfection.

"Hye-Jin," Ji-Won began softly, his voice barely above a whisper, "you have... there's a little something on your lips."

Hye-Jin's hand instinctively rose to her lips, attempting to wipe away the stray remains. But despite her efforts, a few stubborn traces of sauce remained, teasingly out of reach.

"Here, let me," Ji-Won offered, his voice tinged with a tenderness he couldn't conceal.
