"Well, well, well, I never imagined that being with you would be that simple," As she carefully circled Abigail, Queen Kira uttered these words: "You know, when my sorcerer informed me there was a witch in Don Ridden, I wasn't myself, I was restless, wondering day and night when would I acquire this witch, but here you are, standing before me, it's an honour," she said.
With tears in her eyes, Abigail begged to go home. Queen Kira chuckled, "Oh darling, you are home now, believe me, you are the most valuable person in this village as of now," said Queen Kira,
"You're wrong, I'm just an ordinary girl, you have the wrong girl," said Abigail.
"Sincerely, I'm shocked we managed to locate you without the aid of your magic as our sorcerer said it would be, But didn't King Orion tell you?"
Asking "Tell me what?"
"That you are the lone witch in Don Ridden, you know that right?"
Abigail didn't speak up because she didn't believe Queen Kira when she said this although she was curious as to why people kept saying that.
"Everyone wants you so badly because you are the lone witch in Don Ridden and the most powerful being in the world,"
Abigail had a difficult time believing Queen Kira, but she did so since a soldier had told her about it in North Kadi and how twice she had been abducted and saved.
"How can I be sure you aren't lying?" Abigail cried out with terror,
"I'm a Queen and I don't have time to convince you or anyone," she said "Guards... Prepare Abigail for training tomorrow and show her to her room, she said,"
"What training?" Abigail asked,
"Your witch training, darling. Oh and Please remember that you are not a prisoner; if you learn to control your abilities, you will become one of us and have a seat in this palace," stated Queen Kira,
After she finished speaking, the guards led her to a beautiful room in the palace; nevertheless, it was not quite as lovely as her room in North Kadi. She put on another fanciful blue outfit given to her by the guards, after getting dressed, Queen Kira called her for dinner with her and other top people of the palace.
Although Abigail missed home, she felt quite at home because of the way the Lust tribe's women treated her.
AT NORTH KADI,
King Orion of North Kadi waited on his balcony for Abigail to return, but because it was already dark, he worried the duplicate Abigail had failed.
The sorcerer approached King Orion and took a position behind him while he awaited their return.
The sorcerer remarked, "Your Majesty, she's a witch, it won't be that easy to stop her. I'm sure there is a better explanation for their delay,"
"If one witch is more powerful than a million troops, why is she taking so long to arrive?"
"I have no notion, Your Majesty, but I can promise you that they are fine,"
"But what if Abigail the duplicate didn't know exactly where she was going and landed up in another town where they would adopt her and make her their weapon?"
The sorcerer added, "Perhaps Your Majesty the duplicate can only last for a day, after a day she would turn back into Abigail's hair," The sorcerer said which kept King Orion silent.
Back at Misting Town while Abigail was having dinner with the Queen and the high people of the village, Commander Anne stood up and raised her cup, saying, "Cheers to the witch," and everyone else did the same.
Queen Kira said, "Oh Abigail, you have no idea how happy I am to have you here in our presence."
Abigail smiled and sipped a little wine from her cup,
"I'm grateful too my Queen but may I ask a question, please?" Abigail said,
"Yes, of course, anything, my dear,"
"Thank you, my Queen. How significant am I to this community? Although my father is the king of North Kadi, I am not a princess, and he keeps me confined to the palace at all times. However, you are treating me better than a princess while I'm here, I don't seem to be ungrateful but why?"
"Okay, let me explain it for you in a way you would understand it better, do you like jewellery?" Queen Kira asked.
"Of course, your majesty, I love jewels,"
"You already know that a diamond is the best piece of jewellery anyone could own, but finding one is really difficult. Now tell me, if someone told you there were diamonds in the ridden south lake, wouldn't you go there and try to get them even if you couldn't swim?"
"I would Your Majesty,"
"Good, and if you get it, you won't give it to anyone or even let anyone know you have it because if you do, they would try to steal it, right?" she asked.
"Yes, your Majesty,"
"Good, so that explains why your father hid you; you are like a diamond in this world, and everyone who knows where you are will do everything in their power to find you. You have more power than the three luminous diamonds,"
"But why didn't my father tell me that?"
"I don't know, child, but forget about him; you're home now, and we'll teach you everything. You don't even need your father; you don't even need North Kadi,"
"But I really do love my father,"
"Poor child, I can tell you do, but the people you love would never love you,"
Abigail became a little confused upon hearing this, and then she asked,
"What do you mean your majesty?"
"If he loves you, he would have told you the power you possess,"
"But what if he held back the information out of fear of losing me?"
"Reflect on it Abigail, if he had revealed you your strength, the Bermudan troops wouldn't have kidnapped you, and if he had told you your identity, you would have prevented Raphael's murder of the people. Because of your father's foolishness, the other kidnapped victims were killed because you couldn't protect them. Do you realise how furious your goddess would be if they learned that innocent tribe members perished on your watch? I'm sure the goddess gave you to your village as a gift to protect them, but you were unaware of your powers," Abigail remained silent as Queen Kira said, "Your goddess would be enraged to a great extent knowing innocent people died with you in the tribe,"
"But I was unaware that they had been killed," Abigail said,
Queen Kira remarked, "The goddess won't tolerate ignorance, my dear," when she said this, Abigail started to feel bad.
"Is there any way I might correct it, like atone for my error?" Abigail asked.
"We would show you how to harness your witchcraft powers because that is the only way you can atone for what you did by making sure it doesn't happen again. You are now at home, and we will do all in our power to prevent you from making another mistake,"
"I'm grateful, Your Majesty," Abigail said,
"You're welcome child, and please don't call me your Queen, call me Mother,"
Abigail grinned and said, "I've always wished I had a mother."
"I am now your mother, so you do now, Queen Kira stated with a smile. She then raised her cup and exclaimed, "Cheers to my daughter," to which everyone at the table responded.
