Every Patient Matters - II

Julien's keyboard fell silent again, and Ena looked across. Julien looked back as she tapped a few more keys without looking. The printer whirred. A sheet of paper emerged, which Julien snatched, examined, and slid across the desk to a waiting giraffe with a wrist injury. All the while, both Julien and Ena watched as Yako got up and shuffled toward Accident and Emergency. After the giraffe signed, Julien swung around in her chair.

"You're not really going—"

"Ena, every patient matters," said Julien, quoting the words from the mural outside. With that, she strutted confidently toward the swinging double doors.
