 “Ruby, your friends are here,” her secretary said as she stood at the door. 


“Send them in,” Ruby said and moments later her gang entered the office. 


She smiled at her friends as she saw how relieved they were now that school was over. They had been together for years and even though they were done with school, it wasn’t the end of their friendship. 


“I’m so glad you made it in time. Help me carry those will you?” she said to her friends as soon as they were inside. 


“We should, only that way can we leave here as soon as possible,” Alex said. 


“Says the man with a broken heart; drinks are on me tonight,” Ruby said and they all cheered. 


“I love the sound of that. Let’s go out and enjoy ourselves and forget about all the bad things and hope for a brighter future,” Nancy chipped in. 


“Nice words my dear friend,” Jack said as he holds the first box. 


“Let’s do this then,” Ruby said as she stood up.
