MWB CHAPTER 9: Back To The Apartment

　　It was already dinner time when we finished buying all the stuff that we need. Or more like, it was already dinner time when Axel was done with buying his clothes, with the help of Hazel who seems to check out every guy that's her type. And there's also Theo who was glaring at Axel from time to time, but also checks on me occasionally. Finally there's me, who knows nothing about shopping house necessities so Hazel also helped with that. In conclusion, stan Hazel.

　　"You guys are gonna treat us to dinner, right?" Hazel asked as we were walking with our stuff

　　"Of course." I stated

　　"Great! Because I'm hella starving!" She exclaimed

　　"You're always starving." Theo intrigued, making his sister hit his shoulder

　　I just chuckled while watching them.

　　"Okay, stop it." Theo said and rubbed his poor shoulder

　　"That's what you get." Hazel answered. "Now back to the dinner topic. Where are we going to eat?"

　　"Where do you guys wanna eat?" I asked

　　"Oh no, don't ask us." Hazel replied, waving her hand. "Theo and I are both indecisive at things like this. It'll take us forever to decide."

　　"If that's the case, then why don't we just go back to the apartment?" Axel suddenly suggested. "I'll cook."

　　Hazel smiled and Theo shook his head in disagreement. They had completely different reactions.

　　"I like that idea!" Hazel seconded

　　"Nah, I don't like that idea." Theo then disagreed

　　"And why is that?" Axel asked and smirked. "If you don't like the idea of me cooking, why don't you cook for us instead then?"

　　Theo was taken aback by the sudden question. And as far as I know, he doesn't know how to cook.

　　"Can't, am I right?" Axel continued to mock him. "I'm cooking then."

　　Theo was about to speak back, but I held his hand to stop him.

　　"Let him be." I said

　　"But-"

　　I rubbed his thumb to calm him down. It always work.

　　And with that, we decided to go with Axel's idea and went back to the apartment with our stuff.

　　Fortunately for us, Hazel brought her car with her so we went through a lesser trouble.

　　Axel brought his new bought clothes in his bedroom and quickly went to the kitchen to help organizing the groceries which are being done by Hazel. While Theo and I are organizing the other shopping bags in the living room.

　　"Can I ask a question?" Axel asked loud enough for everyone to hear

　　"You're already asking one." Theo answered

　　"But that was me asking a permission to ask my actual question." Axel replied rather calmly

　　"Just go ahead and ask." Hazel said before Theo could even say a thing again

　　Axel then stopped at what he's doing and faced us. It also made us stopped for a bit.

　　"There's something I've been curious about ever since the four of us met earlier." He started. "You two.."

　　"They're not a couple, if that's what you're gonna ask." Hazel interrupted and laughed

　　Her words also made me chuckle. Well, the said question is way too common for me and Theo.

　　"No, I was just gonna ask if they got matching names on purpose." Axel said and made everyone confused. "It's what my mind immediately thought when I learned his name."

　　Hazel and I then broke into laughter. Even Theo chuckled a bit at the nonsense question.

　　"Wow, so your mind was like, once upon a time, infant Thea and Theo decided to have matching names." I laughed more at my story

　　"That's a good one!" Hazel clapped, also laughing more

　　Theo just smiled and shook his head, while Axel was wearing his poker face on.

　　"Of course that's not what I meant." He cleared, but we weren't really listening and were just laughing. "I just thought that it's what delinquents would do."

　　He was about to defend himself more, but he realized that no one was minding him and just rolled his eyes.

　　"Whatever. I'm just gonna start cooking." He changed the topic as they were done organizing the groceries

　　"Oh, what are you gonna cook?" Hazel asked excitedly

　　"Well, do you guys have any request?" He asked everyone

　　"As long as it's not poisoned, then it's all good for me." Theo answered

　　"I'll be eating too, so you don't need to worry about that." Axel said cheekily

　　"Uhm, I think I want some chicken!" Hazel shouted. "We bought chicken, right?"

　　"Yeah, we did." I answered. "I think I want some chicken too."

　　"Then how about seasoned chicken?" Axel asked as he was taking the chicken out

　　"If we have all the ingredients needed, then why not?" I answered and he just nodded

　　"I'll help-"

　　"No need." He cut Hazel off. "And I really prefer working in the kitchen alone. Sorry."

　　"Fine, fine." She just said

　　At that time, Theo and I were also done with organizing and sat at the sofa. Hazel also decided to sit with us.

　　"So Axel lives with you here, huh." She said as she was observing the place. "At least you two have your own rooms. The place could be better though."

　　"The place sucks." I said and she just giggled

　　"Yeah, I would've love this punishment if the place was good, and if the bodyguard was kinda perverted." She joked and Theo just looked at him with no surprise at all

　　"Hmm?" Axel suddenly hummed, taking our attention. "What does that mean? What's perverted?"

　　My hand immediately hit Hazel.

　　"Ouch!" She groaned in pain.

　　"What? It's your fault!" I said

　　"Is it something I can't know?" Axel then asked, and what answered him was silence as we didn't know what to answer. "Sorry, I'll be more careful in asking questions now."

　　"Jeez, it's not like that." I said and rubbed my forehead

　　This is making me feel a headache!

　　"He's old enough to know." Hazel chuckled

　　"Why don't you answer him then?" I glared at her but she just laughed it off. "Axel, listen to Hazel."

　　Axel then turned his head to her and looked at her seriously. Hazel then felt tense and I just gave her a fake smile.

　　Meanwhile, Theo looks so done with us and I can't blame him for feeling that.
