Chapter 14

When I hear the word paparazzi, my first thoughts are of blaring voices, blinding lights, and people running to get away—in short, chaos. When I think back to the time before my album release a month ago, I miss what my normal was and no longer is. Ever since the record label finally released my identity as the girl behind the makeup in a simple music video we put together, life has been a whole lot more complicated.

I’ve been followed by random strangers for miles and asked for countless autographs and fan photos, and I even had to move into a house of my own with around-the-clock security. I have my parents and Aiden to thank for helping me get all of that taken care of back in Colorado. There’s zero chance I would have been able to take care of it on my own on top of flying to Los Angeles and New York for press events. The back-and-forth time zone changes are starting to wear on me.
