Toby's Bad Luck

Tobi, who initially did not want to tell what happened to him last night, finally gave his master the information that someone was terrorizing him by calling him repeatedly the previous night.

"Who did this to you?" Ramon asked curiously.

"I don't know, sir."

Ramon again suspected Bram of being the cause of the riot in his house. Even when Klara came, it was thanks to information from Bram, too.

"What's going on? Why haven't you prepared breakfast for the whole family?" I asked Mrs. Anita, who had just entered the dining room.

Ramon then told her what Tobi had experienced the previous night. Mom then had the same suspicion as Ramon that the cause was Bram.

"It must be him, who else?" Mrs. Anita tried to convince Ramon.

Kring!

Tobi's phone rang again; Ramon immediately asked Tobi to show the number on his cell phone to find out who was terrorizing him.

"I don't recognize the number, but I'm sure it's Bram!" Ramon exclaimed irritably.

Mrs. Anita nodded and then asked her loyal servant to block the number.

"Yes, ma'am. Let me block it now." Tobi said, following his mistress's orders.

Just as the number was blocked, another call came in with a different number.

"Just turn off your cell phone first, later if there is something important, let me tell you to call the landline number!" Ramon ordered because he saw Tobi getting more and more uneasy.

Tobi then turned off his cell phone and hurried to the kitchen to do the rest of the work he hadn't finished yet.

"What's up, huh?" Mrs. Anita asked while starting her breakfast that morning.

Rika, who had just come in, asked her mother-in-law what had happened in the house that made them look so busy.

"There was a terror, Tobi. He didn't sleep well last night!" Ramon explained and served breakfast on Rika's plate.

"Ah, there's nothing!" Rika said as she started her breakfast.

"Sir, help!" Tobi shouted from the kitchen.

Ramon was shocked, then moved towards the origin of Tobi's voice and immediately checked what else had happened this time.

"Please, sir. Someone just came into the room!" Tobi exclaimed while pointing towards the back fence of the house.

"Let's check the CCTV, hopefully there are pictures of the perpetrator caught on camera." Tobi suggested while walking towards the security post.

The security guard immediately checked the CCTV image that Ramon wanted to see; from the CCTV footage, someone with a face covered in cloth appeared to enter Tobi's room and seemed to take something, then ran by climbing the wall.

"Check what's missing, Tobi!" Ramon asked Tobi, who looked still shocked.

Tobi then entered, and sure enough, a piggy bank belonging to Tobi was taken by the thief.

"This is really strange, if he doesn't know you how could he know that you have a stash of money in the room." Ramon tried to conclude.

Tobi nodded. It was true what Ramon had said. Indeed, a few days ago, a friend of Tobi's came to his room to chat and smoke with him. But at the time of the incident, Tobi asked his friend if he had savings for his family in the village.

Ramon's servant was so innocent that he told him the details of his savings.

"Oh, it could be your friend who stole your savings, Tobi!" Said Mr. Tatang, the security guard at Jaya's house.

"Ah, then let's report it to the police!" Ramon suggested to Tobi, who looked very confused.

Not wanting to wait too long, Ramon then contacted Mr. Eko, a policeman he knew, to find the perpetrator of the theft of Tobi's savings.

Half an hour later, Mr. Eko arrived at Ramon's father's house and hurriedly examined all the evidence he found.

The evidence collected showed that the culprit seemed to know the location of all the items in Tobi's room.

The poor boy was then asked to describe the characteristics of his friend who might help Mr. Eko investigate the theft.

"He has a snub nose, curly hair and he happens to live not far from the house, Mr. Jaya." Tobi said.

Mr. Eko then rushed to the house of Tobi's friend, who was thought to be the perpetrator of this theft.

Sure enough, the suspected thief was no longer there when Mr. Eko went to Tobi's friend's house.

He was already quite a theft expert, so he hurried away to eliminate traces.

Tobi looked very sad because the money he had been collecting had finally disappeared.

"Don't be sad, I'll just replace the money!" Ramon said, trying to comfort Tobi.

Tobi said that the money lost was not much compared to Tobi's disappointment in his friend; his friend was indeed an ex-convict whom he had just met.

All this time, his friend seemed fine, and Tobi never once suspected it, but in fact, his friend committed a crime that he said he had long left behind.

"What is your friend's name, Tobi." Ramon asked curiously.

"Ikmal, sir!"

"Ikmal, where is the sketch of his face?" Ramon said as if remembering the name of someone he knew.

Pak Eko then showed him a sketch of Tobi's friend's face, and Ramon was shocked when the face he saw was the same as Ikmal, Bram's man whom he had met at the gambling hall.

"Ah, yes I remember who he is!" Exclaimed Ramon, who once again knew that the inside of his house was still Bram and Bram again.

"Sir, do you know him?" Mr. Eko asked for confirmation.

"Fix, this is Bram's man!" Ramon exclaimed, reminding Mr. Eko that he had come to Bram's house to retrieve Nanda, his sister, when she was held captive by his friend.

Mom, who overheard Ramon's conversation at the post in front of her house, approached Ramon and asked about the progress of Tobi's case.

Because he was still distraught, Ramon then said that, in this case, it was still Bram; Mom then said her guess was correct.

Since earlier, Mom had been sure that Bram would not be able to let them go as quickly as they thought.

"So what do we do now, sir! Should we report it?" Mr. Eko asked Ramon for his decision.

Ibu then asked Ramon not to prolong the case because Anita was worried that Bram would retaliate against them more severely.

"But this can't be allowed, Mom!" Ramon exclaimed unhappily.

"Already, we don't need to find problems with that person anymore, money, Tobi, let me, Mom, replace it. Let's call it a day." Mom said as she walked into the house.
