Nothing Too Dull

Lucia was not supposed to worry about the photoshoot as much as she thought she was going to. She had Queen Miriam doing that for her. It was making her worry. She had a call at five in the morning, telling her that the Queen was going to be with her for breakfast in an hour and to expect a team of stylists in two hours. That was enough to knock off any tiredness she had as she rushed to wash up.

She was grateful that there were a few outfits for her to choose from in the wardrobe. She did not know how Michael had that arranged with the time he had last night, but she was grateful for his efficiency. She even had a few pairs of shoes to choose from. They were all her size.

She chose a powder pink dress with crisp, clean lines and a white pair of pumps. She secured her hair in one braid and waited. There was a knock on her door, and it was a maid telling her that she would be guiding her to the Queen's quarters. She nodded and let the nice young lady lead the way.
