Chapter 33. Younger MacKenzie

"Don't ruin your sister's relationship this time." Madelyn talks with her son, Matthew, while they're having brunch at some restaurant in Milan.

"I never had the intention to do it." Matthew snorted, "I was pissed with her; I know she's superior in everything. Dad loves her the most, and you too were hoping she's not a doctor so she can take over your company."

Madelyn took a deep breath. "It's true. I was hoping she could take over my company. It's true in some fields. She's better than you. But that doesn't mean I don't love you the same. The reason I take you to Europe is because you're better at communication than your sister. I wanted you to manage all the companies in Europe."

She reached out and gently rubbed Matthew's back. "And what did your sister do to you to make you hurt her like that before?"
