The high priestess Maria, dressed in a more comfortable and less luxurious golden and white gown than her formal attire, sat at her desk.

Her long blond hair cascaded down her back, and her golden eyes shimmered in the room's light streaming through the window behind her.

Despite being in her 30s, she maintained a youthful appearance, seeming as though she were in her early 20s.

Surrounded by stacks of documents, Maria worked diligently through more paperwork than anyone else in the entire cathedral.

Her responsibilities extended to matters concerning the cathedral's secondary branches, the main temple, and other temples of Unica across the kingdom of Dynasteia and the continent of Nesos, all requiring her approval.

Her room served a dual purpose as both her office and her bedroom, the latter located behind a locked door to the left.
