Mr. Oleg knew that Everly was right. Even though he didn't want to believe her, he had no choice. If he overlooked everything, it might turn out to be true that Sokolov did indeed want to kill him. He nodded, sighing, "Very well then, I will confront Sokolov about this."
Everly shrugged. She didn't really care about what he did about it, all she knew was that her plan was coming together. "Sure, if that's what you want to do. We'll be on our way now."
Mr. Oleg was still confused about some things. He sat back on his seat and slammed his fist down on the table, causing Everly and Ivan to turn around. He cleared his throat. "I have one more question for you. Why are you doing this? Is there something you want from me?"
Everly shook her head, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "No, I don't want anything from you."
