Brent and Kellen were in a normal classroom today on one of the Guide floors. The plan they had come up with was to rotate every other day in the gym, and on the rest day they would be going over vital information. It made sense to give their brains a rest on days when their bodies couldn't and vice versa. But, they would see how well it would do in practice.
When Kellen made his way to the classroom, he was already jogging lightly. He'd had to take the stairs to get here since the elevators were too slow, and he was worried about Brent. He was right to be worried. The man was flustered, almost sputtering at the front of the room. What didn't help was the way the rest of the Guides looked at him. Like he hung the moon and the stars. Brent wasn't good with that much admiration.
