"Kellen, you've had your head down all morning. What are you working on?" Brent asked, leaning over from where he was stuffing his face full of a sweet treat, the bags under his eyes apparent.
Apparently, they had made a bad decision when they had invited Casper out. No one had known that the man was going to be a loose cannon. Kellen had no idea how they couldn't have realised that. The man never did anything fun, and that was coming from Kellen.
At least Kellen had cooking and now, reading. He had been able to maintain his cooking throughout his time on the front lines. He was unsure what enjoyment Casper had kept by his side during all this time, but it was clear from what he had heard from Hill, Charlie, and Brent that Casper had gone off the deep end.
