Morning of Memories

Makoto had not been able to sleep. The endless thoughts in his mind didn't let him rest.

Restless, Makoto made his way out. As he walked through the village the sky was still a deep, velvety blue, on the cusp of sunrise. The cool air was filled with a serene quietness, only interrupted by the distant chirping of early birds. His sandals softly crunched on the gravel path as he moved, each step deliberate and thoughtful.

He had spent countless mornings like this, wandering through familiar streets and reflecting on his journey. His mind wandered to his early days as a young, ambitious Samurai, eager to prove himself.

He remembered the first time he had met Hōkai, a stern yet wise mentor who had seen potential in him. The rigorous training sessions, the relentless pursuit of perfection, and the lessons that had shaped him into the warrior he had become.
