Inside a dungeon like basement surrounded by gigantic doors, looking out of a historical movie, Angela stood there idly for her turn to get interrogated by the silver-eyed man to decide on her life and death. Someone who kicked even high school children out in this dangerous situation.
Even when this man, who seemed to be the castle's owner, had already deported many people from the basement, there still were no openings in the crowd. Despite that, she knows that at the end of the only gateway of this basement was a door.
A door at the end of which nightmarish monsters awaited their arrival. Eager to feast on them. Real nightmares. Bloody cruel man-eating murderers.
She could imagine getting away from the monsters and get through this, god knows how big, castle. What she couldn't dream of was survival on the outside. Where both a snowstorm was happening and hell. A hell full of monsters.
How did she know all this?
[System notification! Monster alert! Monsters at the end of the gateways' doors!
Warning: SS danger labeled monsters detected outside the castle of remembrance!
Arlet, S DANGER LABLED abnormal snowstorm outside the castle of remembrance!]
The blinking red window made her look at the man again. He was really cruel. How could he do that to a fellow human? No less high school children...
A man whose silhouette sent chills down her spine, her entire being screaming with a streaking pain that made her unable to breathe. Despite all that, she took steady steps forward.
She wanted to stop, but the tall man looked way too familiar. Her curiosity took over her fear, and she got closer and closer.
Finally, in front of the mysterious man, it was her turn to get judged. Looking at the man's face up close made her head hot, a burning sensation emerging from her loudly beating heart, invading her entire body by force.
Then she felt like she was getting sucked to the back of her mind by invisible yet freezing hands. Hands that gave her soul a numbing freezing sensation, all the while also burning.
'How can someone burn and freeze at the same time? Is it even physically possible?' She asked herself with no mouth to voice it out.
"What have you done to me, you freaking old senile??!"
Her own angry voice, furious eyes and tightly clenched grip on the silver-eyed young man's collar being the last things she heard and felt before her contact got severed with the outside world.
Imprisoned in eternal darkness. Still freezing and still burning.
'How did my life end up here?' She asked herself in the mute darkness. Over and over...
Kneeling in that deep nothingness, she said without saying: 'God, If I survive this hell I will live differently...'

"You know what, Angela? Now Andrey is all grown up too! If you're that unhappy, let's just get a divorce!"
Inside the vast mansion, the panting man's angry voice echoed. His pale face was bright red with anger as his glowing green eyes glared into the golden eyes of the women in front of him.
The man's tall stature and breathtaking handsomeness might have intimidated anyone, yet the slightly shorter woman, who was equally beautiful, didn't even budge.
"Cough, cough! DAD!!!"
A handsome boy, around eighteen years old, with golden eyes and brown hair, cried out in chock.
"Sure... Let's do that!"
"No, okey so-.. What???.. That easily you- You..!? Do you think I won't do it? I
will send you the appointment!!"
"Yeah, Tae-Hyung! Book it and send it as fast as you can!"
"!!!!"
The men in the room seemed stunned and were in the same position, even after the woman named Angela left the white mansion carrying her luggage.
**
In the dim room, the curtains were tightly closed. Smiling like a madwoman, there stood a woman looking to be in her early twenties. In her hand, drenched in a bright red color, a cleaver. Looking at the huge bloody red packages in front of her.
"Good hand sizes! This should fit into the boxes!"
With her red hands, she took the white smartphone. Leaving red marks on it as she, for the tenth time, looked at the message with cold eyes.
[Divorce court 25/6 14:00,
be there an hour early!
p.S. your soon to be ex husband!!!!]
'After six months, he finally sent it a week ago. What was the date again, 15th?. No, it's 16th... That easily? Ha!"
"Pfffft hahahaha, That easy?! One of us will be there! For sure.."
She started laughing again.
Then her cold eyes gazed from the now hand-sized packaging to another huge packaging also containing the same red colored content and then from that to the medical license on the wall.
"Professor, it was only right for the patient's family to know that the patient died because of medical negligence. "
"You! You are..! You are just a shameless wench who doesn't know how the world works! Are you happy now, do you think they can prove it? Do you know which family Doctor Man comes from? The only thing you ruined is your own life. After studying for 14 years, now, you can only frame your medical license on the wall!"
Taking her eyes off the wall, her gaze fell back on the package.
"Tsk! How dirty! Sure, people get what they give! I'm not even feeling guilty here! After all, I have to get rid of the old things if I want to start anew!"
With determination, she unwrapped the plastic around the cold packaging; her nose wrinkling from the powerful smell.
Chop. Chop.. Chop and the last hand sized piece got placed in the white container. The red liquid dripping everywhere and making a mess on the white island of the kitchen.
The red on white brought back memories. Feeling nostalgic, she drenched her finger in the flesh to become red. Then, using her finger, she started drawing circles and strange patterns on the white island, leaving just enough space in the middle.
" Whoever tattled on me to that bald professor may become jobless-"
Tilting her head, she felt like it wasn't enough. After all, that person had made her jobless when she didn't even know who they were. She continued writing and added more and more until she felt satisfied by reading it.
"-jobless, get into an unfair contract with someone from the King family, suddenly gain a child and marry with someone who doesn't love them!"
She smiled at it.
"Oh, how I had missed this sensation after ending school! Now I will curse you until somebody else goes higher on my list! You rattling rat that I don't even know who you are!"
As she stepped back to appreciate her self invented curse circle, her gaze landed on the carpet under her feet.
"SHIXX! My bloody carpet!" She cried out in disappointment at seeing the red stains on the carpet. Since it was white, it wasn't usable anymore.
Rolling the carpet, she dragged it together with the white container out of her apartment door, to the elevator, and into the back of her car. Of course, she throws away the carpet that looked like someone had bled on it.
" Such a waste."
On her way back in the hall, she saw the neighbor's son. She smiled beautifully at the high school boy as she hides her red hands behind her and rushes to her house.
Locking the door, she exhaled. Looking at her hands and clothing, then at the messed up house.
" I am really out of it... I should have at least washed my hands."
Ring! Ring! Her phone started sounding while [Son-_-] blinked on her reddened phone screen.
" WHAT?" She answered coldly, still angry about their last conversation.
"hm.. Hi!" he said in a cautious tone.
Angela kept silence, trying to point out her unwillingness to continue this call.
"I wonder if you know where father is? I am sick and I need medicine, but no matter how many times I call, he won't answer."
She knew him like the back of her hands. Did he really think she would believe that lame excuse? He couldn't have called if he was really sick.
"No, I do not know where your father is! Why would I even know that?"
Knock! knock! Someone knocked on the door.
Thurning her head to the clock hanging on the wall some inches away from the medical license, next to where a boxing gold medal had pinned to the wall. Right under the many more certificates of appreciations.
23:50, not too early by none doctors sense. Even doctors like her didn't get visits at this hour. Though calls were still possible.
"But you know where I hope he is,~?" She asked in a mysterious tone before opening the door and continued in an icy voice.
"IN HELL, that way I would really get all the money his grandmother sweats I am getting from him!"
Behind the door, she saw the neighbor boy's pale face. The poor guy's complexion looked wearisome, sweating profoundly.
"Gulp! Hel- Hello! H- Here you dropped you- your keys!"
The boy stammered and dropped the key on the ground as if he had seen a ghost. Then run as if that ghost was a hungry one...
Bang! Slamming the door without even looking at the car keys, she locked it.
There were enough unsolved equations in her life needing to be solved that she didn't have time for concerning herself with the neighbor boy's actions.
"Who was that?"
She answered with sarcasm.
"My new son! His not even ashamed of being seen with me, you know! Ah and his very much polite and actually fears me enough to be respectful towards me. Anything else? If not, I am going to my death bed if your highness allows!"
Then, ended the call without waiting for a reply. She had lots to do.
Even though she said she's gonna sleep, she went to the kitchen. Scrubbing the liquids with the kitchen towels, Angela still felt the stench. So she opened a packet of plastic gloves and started scrubbing with detergent.
Thereafter, she took the towels with her to the bathroom. Taking off her stained clothes, she tossed everything in the wash machine.
Pouring lots of powder and softener, she started the machine.
While the clothes were washing, she took a shower. Scrubbing her body with all her might to remove the stench. Draining herself, she wore clean clothes with a sunny, comforting smell.
Before going to bed, she looked at the only spot she had missed cleaning. On the Iceland, the scribbles made her smirk but her eyes were empty of any emotions.
"As if even my curses ever work! I am the cat that god never listens to its prayers!"
Unbeknownst to the sleeping Angela, those curses had already come to reality. Even before leaving her mouth...
